About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life! My current dog is a rescue and I’ve learned a lot through my experience with her, including professional training to help her fearful tendencies. Getting to know a dog brings me so much joy! I have the knowledge of how to engage with many different types of dogs, no matter their quirks! I am capable and enthusiastic about working with animals and love any opportunity to meet a new furry friend! I am to please so whatever you need, whether that be a picture of your friend on their walk or even some water in your plants, don’t be afraid to ask! I currently work as a mental health clinician in the crisis and developmental disabilities world. I work remotely a lot and have my weekends free all day. I’m typically pretty flexible! Keeping your dog safe is top priority for me. My current pup has many special considerations that have helped me learn many creative ways to work will all types of dog needs. I am excellent at communicating, am very organized, and professional. I have lots of experience with reactive, shy, and abused dogs as well as elder dogs that’s need lots of hands on care. I can guarantee that your dog will be in the most careful and loving hands with me!

We have been dog sitting for a couple of years before adding Summer, our dog to our family. Then during covid we added Orie our little senior dog. We used Rover.com to help us decided whether we could handle having a pet of our own. And now we use it so Summer and Orie get to make friends! About: Are you looking to go out of town for the weekend or for a weeks vacation, but don't want to stress your pet(s) by boarding them? I would be happy to come care for your furry friends at your home, and am comfortable doing overnight stays. I am very comfortable around all dog breeds and sizes. Have a cat or other family pet that needs care as well? No problem! I'm open to caring for animals other than dogs, too, and would love the opportunity to discuss caring for your pets further. Growing up my family always had dogs and cats around, and we also raised 7 dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. For the past 5 years I've been pet/house sitting for others as a way to spend additional time around animals, and provide families with an alternative to boarding. I am licensed, insured, and bonded, as well as pet CPR/First Aid certified. I have exceptional references, and would be happy to provide those upon request. “Wow, what an amazing experience with Hayley. I was very reluctant to hire someone to care for our beautiful fur babies. My 15 year old dog and 10 year old cat had only been cared for by family. She stopped by my house on two occassions to get acquainted with Melody and Doby before my trip. It was love at first sight. She connected with them within minutes. She was authentic and warm while playing and building trust with them. She sent videos, photos and daily updates; giving me peace of mind. She fed my outdoor squirrel and bird friends. I was going to have her drop-in 3 times a day however she was willing to stay over. I was thankful my babies were not left alone at night; they slept with her.
