About: I grew up on a farm with working dogs and lived in the city where dogs must be on a leash, so walking them in all sorts of weather in various conditions is part of my daily routine. But now that my husband is retired, our dog gets his walks, but I don't always get mine! I would love to help you and walk and care for your dog when you need help. My energetic and resource-guarding dog has taught me a lot about dog behavior and how to use positive enforcement through training, playing and enrichment activities. I look forward to working with you and getting to know your special pup. I'm currently not working, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets. Other than the occasional road trip to visit family, I have a pretty flexible schedule and am able to work just about anytime, including nights and weekends. I have cared for pets who are crated as well as non-crated; walked dogs on leash and with dogs who are trained on shock collars (in safe areas, obviously). I have trained puppies as well as tended to senior dogs' special needs. If your pet does not have recall skills, they may need to be leashed to have potty breaks outside.
