“Kendra was amazing and so sweet to our kitties. She made sure they were well taken care of and okay. Both our cats warmed up to her quickly and will definitely use her again!”

“Alice and her two dogs are amazing! They are so sweet and accommodating and were great with my puppy Bob. He had such a good time with Alice and her girls. She is very communicative and flexible to my needs when my plans changed. Highly recommmend!”

“Ysobel was wonderful! She was very flexible to add additional care for our pets at the last minute and gave us great updates throughout the week. All the pets were happy, fed, and well cared for while we were gone.”

“Stephanie did an amazing job taking care of our “problem child” Murphy! He’s very protective of us and is weary of new people. Stephanie took the time to come by for four nights before we left so she could spend time getting to know Murphy so he was comfortable while we were gone. He ended up loving Stephanie and giving her lots of cuddles! We will definitely be calling on her to take care of Murphy again!”
“Jasmine did a great job dropping in to check on my dog while I was out of town for a few days. Kept me updated on how she was doing and also took Jezebelle on walks in addition to feeding and potty breaks. Would book with jasmine again.”

“Im so grateful to have found Ashley to care for my sweet girl, Nala. She was able to work with my work schedule to take her out daily while im at work and she’s been so great with nala!! She makes sure to get some play time in with her after taking her potty and is very attentive to her needs! She made a point to help me find coverage for days she isn’t available ahead of time and she is very responsive to messages! 10/10 would recommend her to others and appreciate all she is doing!!”

About: I am detail-oriented. I have loved pets of my own since I was a small child. I’ve helped take care of pets for both friends and neighbors for approximately 10 years. I am currently available for drop-ins, pet walking, and lots of snuggles on most weekends and occasionally Fridays & Mondays. There may be weeks where I have more availability. Please reach out to see if I’m available. I understand that each situation is unique. Pets are all different and need their own personalized care. Please let me know how I can accommodate.
About: I’ve taken care of my teammates dogs, military veterans, rescue dogs, and puppies. I have 2 dogs and would do anything for them. I will also leave the house better than I found it. I love cleaning and wouldn’t mind if that’s what I need to do before leaving. I have classes from 11:30-3:25. I also have volleyball from 6-10(driving included). I have practice on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I can wake up at any time the dogs schedule needs. I have a fenced in backyard at both of my houses(divorced parents) and dog areas at both of my houses. One of my dogs goes on walks. The other isn’t technically supposed to because he’s not good with people and other dogs. He gets too excited by everything around him. I can play and lay with your pets. And am more than comfortable putting them in a kennel if needed. Both of my dogs sleep in kennels aswell.
About: I've been house sitting and taking care of many different kinds of pets including live stock since I was 10 years old. I'm currently working as a vet tech and have been in vet medicine for 2 years. I work full-time as a vet tech, so I'm only able to do weekend for now, but I am looking to open up my schedule in the next few months. I currently can't have client dogs at my house as I have lots of pets of my own, but I will my best to follow clients instructions at their homes.
About: I had two dogs growing up and one of the hardest parts of my life so far was both of them passing away. I loved them so much and I want to be able to give my love and care to other animals! I would love to go on walks/ play/ and take care of your animal as if they were my own. I feel there is a hole in me and it can be filled with taking care of animals. I know that may sound cheezy but I am an avid animal lover. Being able to take care of your animal would put a huge smile on my face ( and your) knowing they are healthy and happy in my care. I hope you choose me :) My schedule is pretty open and I am open to working with you to find a proper schedule to meet your needs! I am available for drop ins and overnight! I give lots of love and cuddle, watch them play, take them on walks, and of course feed them, and play with them. Administering medicine is also a skill I hold. Attentive to diets and specific needs such as needs for space, interactions with other animals etc..

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
