About: Growing up on a farm in the country side has given me ample experiences in all sorts of animals. Dogs, cats, horses and even turkeys! This experience has given me a unique set of skills that can tackle any beloved pet with patience, endurance, and fun. I am currently in a master's program at UMMC in Biomedical Science and am looking for flexible work that will allow me to keep up with living expenses and being able to do what I love best, playing and loving with pets! As someone who has a cat at home, I know what it takes to keep our animal companions safe but having fun at the same time.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for pets of many ages, personalities, and needs. I currently care for three Yorkies of my own, ages 6, 4, and 1, which has taught me a lot about patience, routines, playtime, and giving each pet individual attention. I also have experience caring for a senior dog with diabetes, including administering insulin shots and making sure he received the care and attention he needed. I’ve cared for my brother’s Lab, Rex, as well as dogs, cats, and chickens while helping care for my sister’s animals. I’ve also cared for my brother’s cat and have experience caring for chinchillas, rabbits, and ducks. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I treat every animal in my care with patience, kindness, love, and the same attention I would want for my own pets. I work as a life insurance representative with WoodmenLife, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I’m able to plan my day around pet care and accommodate different schedules and routines. I’m happy to provide walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I understand how important consistency is for pets, and I’ll do my best to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I treat my pets like family—and yes, I’m definitely the person who talks to them like they understand every word! I believe pets deserve love, patience, attention, and a safe environment where they can be themselves. When caring for your pet, I’ll take the time to learn their routine, personality, and individual needs. Whether they’re playful, shy, energetic, or just want to cuddle, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and loved. I know how hard it can be to leave your fur baby with someone else, so my goal is to give you peace of mind knowing they’re being cared for like one of my own.
