About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals! I had plenty as a kid and was always helping family members with them. I take pride in training puppies and young dogs, even though I’m not a professional trainer, I know a few tricks! Pet care is what I do full time, I’m always available and I feel like they can use all the attention and loves when their parents aren’t home! I have a daughter who enjoys being with the fur babies as much as I do! I make sure I am easy going and trusting when approaching a pup that has never met me. They’re just like us! I am a very loving and nurturing person, I plan to be someone your fur babies look forward to seeing!

About: I have a current access card for the base. I have lots of experience with all breeds of dogs from a young age. I was involved in a local 4-H program starting in grade school, and am a current Berner mama. Puppies are also not a problem! I am currently staying home with my kids, and working remotely online, so my schedule is quite open. I am available consistently throughout the week. I prioritize your pet's safety and comfort by ensuring a secure environment, following all care instructions, and keeping a watchful eye during visits. Your pet's happiness and well-being come first.

About: Hi! I’m MacKenzie, your pet’s new best friend and part-time squirrel scout. While I might not have a fancy pet-sitting degree, I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, and my own dog (a.k.a. my four-legged child) has taught me plenty—especially about basic training, reactivity, and the art of treating every leaf like it’s a masterpiece. I’m also a pro at giving meds and following care instructions to a T, so your pet’s routine won’t miss a beat. Plus, as an avid hiker, I’m more than happy to take active pups on day hikes for a little extra adventure! I get that every walk is a big deal, every squirrel is a personal nemesis, and if there’s a cat involved, they’re probably running the household. And yes, I’m here for my own steps too, because walking is my therapy! I'm currently in between full-time jobs, so I have ample flexibility for pet care throughout the week—perfect for midday walks, medication administration, or just dropping by to say “hello”! If your pet lives more than 30 minutes from Petersburg, they should be comfortable being home alone for up to 8 hours once I return to full-time work. For now, my schedule is wide open, especially on weekends! Routine is important to me, and it’s no doubt important to your pets! My primary goal is always to limit the amount of change, so feeding and potty break times will be strictly adhered to. If there’s valuable training you’ve worked hard to implement, it won’t go to waste! Don’t be shy about letting me know exactly which cues and commands to use, and any other little personality quirks I should know about.

She was prompt in arriving to check on our cats, socialized with them, and followed our instructions on our cat that had dietary restrictions. She also took pictures at each visit! About: Growing up, I was constantly surrounded by different kinds of animals. At one point, my family had two ferrets, a rabbit, a dog, and three cats! I truly have been loving and caring for pets for as long as I can remember. I have extensive experience caring for several different breeds of dogs, including Pitties and a Doberman, as well as cats of all kinds. Currently, I am the proud mom of two of the sweetest kitties, Bean and Hippo. As a kitten, Bean dealt with a rare reaction to the sutures used during her spay. A month after adopting her, a wound appeared near her spay site. Vets repeatedly told us they had exhausted all options and could not do anything further to help close the wound; however, I was determined. After countless doctor's visits, medication, several weeks in a cone, AND almost a year wearing a special shirt for cats that I had found, she miraculously healed! I understand the weight of caring for another living being and am always ready to go the extra mile to ensure that the animals in my care are living the happiest and healthiest lives possible. I would love the opportunity to provide companionship and personalized care for your furry friend! I am my household's manager and create my own work schedule. Because of this, I am able to account for any pet bookings relatively quickly and with ease! I am generally flexible and willing to work with you in regard to scheduling. In my opinion, pet care is personal to the pet! Every pet has different emotional and physical needs. I am more than happy to provide walks, potty breaks, meal time, attention, and play time, as well as any other pet-specific needs that are discussed and agreed upon. Your pet's safety and health is absolutely my number one priority, and I am happy to provide regular updates and pictures during my time with them!

About: I've had pets my whole life from the biggest of dogs to cutest of cats. I'm a very active mom, and fitness lover that could always use a furry partner. 🐕‍🦺🐈 I'm currently working mornings 7am-3pm, so anytime before 6 am or after 4pm drop off works best for me. I have a front and back yard as well as 1 lovely cat that I can keep in separate room if need be. My home is clean warm and inviting to all animals. Hooray! As a mom pet care fits into my schedule perfectly. My kids have a lot of fun with all animals that come to our home. I have plenty of space a loving 6 year old son and a young wild & free 3 year old son, who can't get enough of the running he gets to do during my sits.

About: I've been the go- to person for puppy cuddles, senior dog care, and long walk to anywhere for over two decades. At home I share space with three felines, one Shi Tzu, several cat trees and scratch pads, dog toys and a nice sized backyard to meet all of their needs and quirky personalities. Whether your baby loves Churu, wet food, tummy rubs, solo time or the occasional walk around the block (stroller included), I'm here to keep them happy while you are away. My home is equipped with puppy pads, litter boxes, pet crate, treats & toys since there is always a fur baby underfoot. I have interactive games, balls, ropes and more to keep everyone entertained and happy. My daily routine is a mix of love, responsibility and chaos. Creating the perfect environment, is all about the meet and greet, consistency, patience and understanding of their unique needs. Having a cozy environment, establishing a routine or following the ones are ready in place, I make sure the pets feel safe and secure in their Home Away from Home.

About: I have groomed a dog before. I have bottle fed kittens in my vet program. I have been dealing with dogs and cats almost all my life. I do work during the week on some days, but I am very flexible with my schedule. I don’t work on weekends, so that is very available. At my home, I have two dogs and they are well cared for. They have a nice, big fenced back yard and they get play time a lot, so that they can stay active.

About: I’ve always had multiple dogs my entire 28 years of life! As the youngest of 3, it was always up to me to walk, feed, and train the dogs. I currently have a 5 year old pit/pointer mix and a dachshund mix under a year old! We love going for walks at the river or visiting the dog park in Chester! My wife and I also have 2 cats, meaning our dogs are very active friendly! We love all animals, shape and sizes! We reside in Colonial Heights and have a relatively decent sized fenced in back yard! Our cats are spoiled and have a dedicated room where they can come and go as they please, no dogs allowed! We also have a spare room to accommodate any dogs that may need to be separate for any reasons. Safety is very important to me! In my car I have multiple doggy seatbelts and harnesses dedicated for riding. I look forward to showing your dog or cat to the Daisey Does It way! I truly care for anyone’s pets as my own. I currently work part time while attending part time classes at Brightpoint Community College. I’m home except for a few early mornings, so my availability is pretty open. I can walk dogs or do home visits throughout the day or night. I can also board a dog(s) on most nights throughout the week. I have a relatively large fenced in yard with lots of doggy toys! My wife and I have 2 dogs that love meeting new friends to play with! We also have two cats, they have always been around dogs. We treat all animals as our own. We believe animals are better than people, haha! Our pets are our children, they are allowed on the furniture, and sleep with us as well. We can crate your animal if needed and have a spare room if you’d like your animal separated for any reasons. Our dogs are trained for off leash hikes, but we do walk them around the neighborhood as well. I’d love to take your fur baby to the local river trails even to run off leash in my backyard!

About: I have been around pets all my life but didn't have my own dog up until 3 years ago. It has been an amazing experience learning how smart and how much personality a dog can have. You can say that properly training my dog has been one of the most rewarding things I have done. Im currently studying on my own for a certification which makes my availability extremely flexible. I can meet most of my clients scheduling needs or we can discuss what works best! I recently just moved to Virginia and haven't brought over my Nala, but we own a home and have a great backyard with a fence where your pupper can enjoy themselves. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible with the care of your pet because i know how hard it can be being away from them. I can meet any of your pets activities needs as well administer any medication necessary. Im patient and understanding and my goal is gain yours and your pets trust.
