Currently I work from home, a light schedule as I’m testing to obtain another specialty license. In my daily life I used to foster dogs for a rescue. Most of my fosters came from very rough beginnings and had many social and/or anxiety issues but we have been able to overcome them💙 With that being said I totally understand how some dogs are unsure of new people and I’m 100% willing to take the time needed to get to know your fur baby. I do currently have an iguana in his own enclosure and I have extensive reptile knowledge and I’m willing to assist with those as well. I currently have a light schedule that I work from home, so I am available for a lot of pet care needs. I do frequent bathroom visits play, and meal time. I am 100% about safety first. I will not accept any new dogs that will put anyone else in jeopardy. Although I have experience in housing a large number of dogs from my time fostering out in Goochland, and my time working in a doggy daycare, I do not wish to take on a large number of dogs at any one time.

About: I am very flexible with hours. I am an active person and happy to play with your pet and walk them as much as needed. I grew up in the cold, so weather doesn't bother me walking or driving. I also am willing to work with your hours and do what is best for your pet. I also am always happy to send pictures and check in so you know they are living your best life. I can be flexible but I am a morning person so early walks are okay with me. I can also drop in easily through the day with little issue. About: I’ve owned and cared for furry (scaled and feathered!) friends my whole life. From cats and dogs, to guinea pigs and bunnies, to fish and birds. “Kayce was wonderful! My good boy, Twix, needs a lot of play and attention. The boarding was only for three days, but I was still worried. Kayce made those worries vanish after the meet and greet. She was super understanding, very attentive, and gave Twix all the attention and care he needed. She was very thorough in going over what he needed and sent me regular updates on how he was doing. I can't recommend her more.”

“Wonderful dogsitter with a great backyard setup in Chesterfield! Dylan looked after our dog for a few days over Labor Day weekend. Our dog loved the fenced-in backyard (with stair/balcony overlook) and sleeping in the nice air-conditioned living space. Dylan provided daily pictures and updates which put us at ease while traveling. He’s rated highly with a good number of recurring customers for a good reason! Ill be seeking him out to watch our dog again next time we travel.”

“Elaine and Steven took wonderful care of our hyper Goldendoodle, no easy assignment given his energy levels. He came back to us better behaved, calmer, and better socialized. Elaine and Steven also took time to update us with photos and reports of our dog’s state of being. They have a wonderful, large property, with lots of room for dogs to explore. “I was extremely satisfied with the care Bentley received while with Amanda and her family. Her fur babies were very welcoming to Bentley and I felt he was happy with his new friends. To my surprise, they went on a “field trip” where they were allowed to run off leash and smell and play in a very large confined space . I worried he would not want to leave with me and leave his friends behind. I highly recommend Amanda and will definitely use her in the future!!”
