“Briony was amazing with Cooper and he really enjoyed his time with her! It was my first time leaving him with a new person. She was very patient, communicative, supportive while I was away. She really went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable with the care she provided. Cooper had several hot spots that were in different phases of healing. She was very attentive to his care and made sure he got what he needed during every visit. Furthermore, after a power outage, my fridge had a leak. She communicated that to me asap and did what she could to ensure there was no additional damage. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!!”

“Took care of the cats as requested and made sure to ask questions! She made sure to clean the litter box and provide the cats plenty of attention ! Great cat sitter and would definitely book again”

“Mary is the absolute best! She’s been watching my cats for a while now and always makes me feel so safe in leaving them in her care :) they’re always well loved while i’m away!”

“We had to find a sitter last minute for our dog and Emily came through! This was our first time leaving our baby and Emily made us feel at peace. She came by to meet Noire prior to our trip and right away our baby seemed happy 😃. Emily sent videos and pictures of Noire daily along with reports. I will definitely use Rover again and particularly request Emily.”

About: I currently am a high volume spay/neuter veterinarian assistant which includes surgical prep for 10 hours - 4 days out of my week. Along with this, I have 4 years of doggie daycare/walking behavioral experience, and two additional years of shelter medicine experience where I’ve had to vaccinate and help doctors examine animals with many different temperaments. On weekends I like to focus less on the medical and more on the personality of animals which includes walks, running at parks, car rides, dog pools and lots of treats. I will have full conversations with your fur babies because I 100% know they understand what I’m saying. I will treat them like my own and respect their boundaries and yours. My goal is to build a consistent routine with the same clients. I’ve seen the good, the bad, & the ugly in my years of experience in shelters where we took in untrained animals and helped find their personality. Working with animals is more therapeutic for me, so this doesn’t feel like a chore and I’m willing to help in the ways that I can. I also adopted my cat when she was three weeks old from my previous job and so I’m a full-time cat mom as well. I can feed, walk, clean and entertain in the ways that are needed. About: Hi there! I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, caring for pets like dogs, cats, and even ferrets. I’m currently in college studying to become a vet tech and work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, where I care for pets of all sizes and personalities. I started pet sitting in August of last year and have loved every second of it! I provide personalized care, whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddles, and I treat every pet like family. Let me know how I can help care for your furry friends—I’d love to meet them! I am currently a student, and my work schedule varies weekly, typically ranging between 6:00 AM and 6:30 PM. However, I pride myself on being highly flexible and am happy to accommodate your needs with clear and timely communication. I currently have two dogs at home—a pit mix and a greyhound mix. My pit mix does not get along with other dogs, so I have experience managing and keeping dogs safely separated when necessary. I am also experienced in administering medications and ensuring pets receive the care they need. Additionally, I provide detailed updates and photos throughout the day to keep you informed and at ease.
“Amazing sitter! She sent so many pictures on the rover card and went above and beyond during the booking when there was a emergency. She followed all the instructions carefully and was always on-time. Will definitely book again! Highly recommend”
“Brianna is the kitty whisperer! One of my cats is super shy and doesn’t always come out when sitters come but she came out on Brianna’s first day! Brianna was super communicative, asked a lot of great questions to ensure she handled my babies needs with care and took the best pics of them both. We will definitely use Brianna for our future needs❤️❤️”

About: Lifetime of experience with dogs and cats, 5 years of furster care for puppies (training, love, and preparing them for their forever homes), and puppy love. I work full time, but making sure they start and end their day with love is important. Walks in the evening and weekend adventures are options. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Ashland Estates
Kerry did an amazing job caring for my girls. From the pictures and updates she sent, I could tell they felt comfortable and trusted her. I truly appreciate the care, attention, and support she provided while I was out of town. As a first-time mom navigating postpartum, being away from them was difficult, and Kerry went above and beyond to reassure me. Whenever I felt nervous or anxious, she made sure I knew they were doing well. She even sent me a video of my dog when I shared concerns that she might be missing me, which meant so much. Kerry made me feel completely comfortable and confident in her ability to care for my girls. She also captured some amazing group pictures that I will cherish. I highly recommend booking with her she is thoughtful, caring, and truly wonderful at what she does.

As of September 2026, there are 2,988 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Ashland Estates. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ashland Estates. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
