About: Ive been with Rover in Mount Pleasant for over a year. I recently moved to Beaufort. I’ve personally had dogs for 50+ years. I’m a retired chiropractor but still have a home clinical nutrition practice. It’s just myself and my elderly Great Pyrenees, Kiera. As Bill Murray says; I trust a dog that doesn’t like a human, but I don’t trust a human that doesn’t like a dog. I’m retired so I’m home most of the time. I enjoy spending time with my dog Kiera and look forward to having company for her. I’ve been with Rover in Mount Pleasant for over a year. I recently moved to Beaufort. About: I'm working on having my own animal day care in the future. I've always had pets growing up but no professional experience. I took a cpr, first aid and safety course so I'm confident in preventing and handling accidents. Animals have a special kind of love because the give genuine love. It's like a babys love. They can't talk but always by your side, depend on you and love you like no other. Who wouldn't enjoy working working with them ! I'm very patient, loving and observant with animals. I believe after a while they just get comfortable with me because I'm not scared and I have the confidence that I'm a animal whisper lol. Your pet will be satisfied under my care and you will be very pleased that JaLisa was there for your Pet care ! I take my son to school Monday-Friday around 7ish and pick him up around 3ish. I do accpect last minute bookings if it works with my schedule. I took a cpr, first aid and safety coruse and I am confident in taking the right measures in making sure your pet is safe and well taking care of in my hands.

“Madeline was an absolute lifesaver when it came to dog-sitting our sweet Theo! She was so willing to work with our schedule and went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for. It was clear from the start that she truly loves animals, and Theo absolutely adored her! She kept us updated, made sure he got plenty of attention, and treated him like her own. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 8 years, including my own who has chronic pancreatitis. I’m comfortable with special diets, medication, and senior dog care. I treat every dog like family—patient, loving, and attentive to their individual needs. Whether your pup is high-energy or needs a gentler pace, I’ll provide safe, thoughtful care tailored just for them. Before getting my own dog at 19, I grew up in a home that always had two dogs. Helping care for them was a constant part of my life and taught me the responsibility, empathy, and joy that comes with loving animals. Additionally, I’ve been volunteering at Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary, which has deepened my experience with dogs of all breeds and backgrounds. I'm currently in graduate school, which gives me a flexible schedule to care for your pups! I'm available for walks and in-home visits on Tuesdays, Fridays, and some weekends (just ask about weekend availability). I make pet care a priority and will always treat your dog with the same love and attention I give my own. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize safety, routine, and comfort. I follow all instructions closely—from feeding schedules to preferred walking routes—and make sure your pup feels secure while you're away. I always respect your space, keep things clean, and treat your home and pet with care and kindness. My goal is to maintain a calm, trustworthy presence so your dog stays happy and stress-free in their familiar environment.

About: I've had at least four dogs as long as I can remember. As a child, they were my first companions and my second caretakers. Even as I grew into an adult, they were always there to comfort me and to brighten the darkest of days. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I am eager to give back what they so willingly give; love, acceptance, understanding, comfort, and joy. In the last two years, I have gone from four dogs to one, due to Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure, and I must admit that their absence has affected me deeply. I miss them so so so much!! I'm one of those people that celebrated their dog's birthdays and bought them copious presents for Christmas. While my friends were pulling out their family pics, I was always pulling out my dog pics. I share this same sentiment towards birds, rabbits, and cats; all of which I had growing up. Being surrounded by animals as a child was a great experience. It even prompted me to volunteer at the ASPCA for almost a year. As I hope you can tell, I will not only provide what your pet needs to survive, but I will also provide him/her with special attention and love. I look forward to meeting with both you and your pet! Until then, take care! I will be able to fulfill any house/pet sitting duties without any issues, as I am able to balance my obligations responsibly and with respect to myself and those that hire me. While pet/house sitting, I will abide the rules given to me. This could include when they play, where they sleep, any medications needed, when to eat, etc.

About: Hello, I'm excited to welcome your fur buddy into our home. We will love them as our very own and keep them happy while your away. I've owned dogs since I was in elementary and have provided care for my family and friends. I work a flexible, hybrid schedule which makes it convenient to be available care for our fur guest. I'm off every weekend and will have a laid back daily routine for them. Walks, playtime, outside play and of course snuggles. I will accommodate each and every pups needs. I have a very safe home. Our back yard is fenced in with tons of running and exploring space. I will NOT keep aggressive dogs. If you know your dog is aggressive and doesn't get along with other dogs, please do not choose me. I have to ensure the safety for all of my babies. (Pups) As an extra precaution I ask for an updated picture of your dog's shots record. This provides transparency for all parties. I want to make sure that all if my babies are safe and healthy at all times.

About: I have cared for dogs mostly and some cats over the years. I hold a special place for senior pets and Pitbulls. My most consistent pet is a 120lb Great Dane named Olive. I have worked with a variety of breeds and temperaments and believe exercise and enrichment are the keys to a happy pup! I work from home and make my own schedule, so I have a lot of flexibility. With enough notice I can make most pet requests work! I live in an apartment with a fenced area for pets. I'm willing to do pet care in my home or in other people's place.

About: Over the past 20 years, I've lived, worked, and traveled through over 45 countries. The one thing I've really missed while traveling is the companionship of a pet. I've been a sitter in both Italy and London the past few months and have had nothing but fantastic experiences meeting lots of amazing pets and their owners. I had a pet care business in my neighborhood as a teenager and worked for a veterinarian for several summers during that time. In addition, my family always had lots of big dogs when I was growing up. I absolutely love all animals and will give your pets the complete love and attention they deserve while you are away. I work in an office Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00. I am available Friday evening through early Monday morning to take care of your pets. I can care for your pets exactly as you specify. I spend much of my free time reading and walking and your pets will be my top priority.
