“Deborah was Fabulous! ?& I just recently moved to Bennington. Additionally we had housed my parents cat for 10 days after the move (who we had been cohabitating w for 3years) - And!! our new place was being scraped/painted ( Noisy!) Poor Guy was Traumatized & scared - which translated to Me!! being scared & very nervous about being away for 6 days. Deborah sent me very detailed updates/photos after each daily visit. About: I have had dogs all my life and have taken care of my own since I am old enough now. I like spending time outdoors with my dogs and walking them and throwing the ball. I have plenty of experience as I have been on Rover for a few years now. I have about 4 pet families I sit for and I enjoy what I do! I work as a toddler teacher so my time varies throughout the week. I go into work at 8 and get out at 4. I have some week long breaks here and there. I am available most weekends. My dog takes meds right now for seizures so I am experienced at giving dogs medicine. Very responsible animal lover I have always had animals in my life. I am good about having the house clean when there’s a fluffy shedding dog in it. I have experience in cleaning up dirty crates, accidents on the floor and making sure the animal is being safe.
“Mark M. is now a member of our extended family! I would hire him to take care of my kids! Mark came for a meet and greet with Buddy (the dog) and Dewey (the cat) before we left. We provided written instructions for Mark indicating where the food was and including the feeding schedule. Mark took it from there, visit thrice daily for feeding and fun. On some days, he brought his pal, Suki, much to Buddy's delight as they romped together in the meadow. Mark sent photos and status reports at each visit to make sure we didn't worry or miss our pals too much. We are so glad we found Mark and so grateful to Rover.com for helping us find him!”

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
