About: I am a life-long animal lover and an experienced walker and sitter for dogs. I also am great with cat care. I have over 25 years of pet care experience and provide catered attention for each pet I sit whether in your home or mine. I can provide references beyond my Rover testimonials, as I am still relatively new to the app. I have worked in pet care privately for several years. I am a full-time dog walker and pet sitter. I am available for daily walks and pet sitting - whether for a day, week,or longer. I am available to care for your pet in your home if preferred !! About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

About: I am available to walk/do drop ins/some house sitting &/or overnight stays & cat sitting/drop ins anytime in the Shandaken, NY area. I have many years experience with animals, three grown kids & I am an avid animal rescue supporter including having my own rescue animal. I work part time on my own schedule so my availability is flexible & I can work with you & your needs! I am not able to provide in home care due to my Rescue dog being touchy with other animals, especially dogs but am available anytime for walks/drop ins, cat care, etc.... I will not be providing care in my home but I clean Rental homes for a living & will keep the same aspects in mind while being in your home/s, I will always be respectful of your space & your animals while providing the best care possible & will always leave your home the same as I found it. About: I have had cats all of my life and dogs for at least the latter half of it. I can care for sick and elderly dogs and cats and can administer medications, even by subcutaneous injections. I am a mature man, available on a regular basis. My Golden Retriever and I look forward to sharing our time with your beloved pets. I do not have a fenced yard, and I do own a Golden Retriever. So, I do have limitations and restrictions when it comes to boarding. Regardless of whether I care for your pet in your home or in mine, they will receive gentle, loving treatment from an experienced pet daddy.

About: Hey there! I've walked and sat dogs (not sat on) on and off for the past 16 years, as part of dog sitting agencies and doggy daycares, for friends and family, as well as for my own dog. My home comes equipped with accessiblity tools like pet stairs & ramps suitable for even larger dogs. Our quarter acre is unfenced, but we do have a small enclosed area off the porch & several long leads to enjoy more of the grassy lawn. Safety is paramount.
