About: I’ve helped my mom since I was 10 raise Yorkies. I’ve had had cats and dogs ever since. I currently raise Black and Tan Coonhounds for show and hunting competition. I have a true passion for all animals. Pet care is my life as it is my full time job. I have cats who are very happy. My father and I have a coonhound raising business that stems from my desire to dedicate time to all animals with love and care. I have a fenced in yard. I also have a sunroom that is specifically for the cats. It has cat towers and all the fun things cats enjoy. The dogs have can be in the house and enjoy long walks on my 40 acres.

About: I am so excited for the opportunity to care for your baby! I’ve had a dog, cat, or both since I was little, so I know what it means for fur babies to be family and to want them loved, safe, and well cared for when you’re away. I have taken care of pets, including dogs, cats, goats, chickens, sheep, cows, and horses for 25+ years. I have always had a pet of my own who I was responsible for since I was in first grade. I’ve had to provide medical care to a lame prior racing horse— cleaning, washing, and applying bandages and medicine to his foot while his owner was out of the country. I’ve also cared long-term for my elderly chihuahua, Bungee, who took medication for congestive heart failure and for my elderly cat, Jaq, with renal failure who had to be hand-fed for a few months before she passed. I currently have a large white dog, Caliber (Lab/Pyrenees mix), who was a rescue, a Pyrenees puppy who stays with and guards my chickens, a sweet, black collie-like rescue named Sirius, and outdoor cats and kittens which have been strays we have not turned away. Caliber and Sirius are in and out of the house dog and stay wherever they want— in our temperature controlled garage with a fence-less perimeter around our home due to the road and creek proximity, the living room, or the back deck overlooking the creek. Caliber has his own tempurpedic mattress and enjoys long days snuggling daddy’s feet in his office (my husband works remotely). The cats are used to animals of all kinds and know to keep distance on days I board a potentially cat-aggressive pup. I currently have a lot of flexibility as a mostly stay-at-home mom and I work PRN (as needed). Because I’m typically at am home with my children, I am very available to care for your babies well and give them all the love they need. I do enjoy trips with my family out of town and occasionally have busy seasons with local engagements, but I communicate well and will be very clear about my availabilities to make sure it work with your needs and that of your pet(s). As long as the pet isn’t aggressive, I am very comfortable caring for your baby for you in the comfort of your own home. I always enjoy meeting my new friends before their human(s) leave to make sure to give them time to get to know me and feel comfortable with my presence. It’s a joy to drop in and see how excited some pets get for a little company while their humans are gone. I enjoy walking, so I’m always up for a peppy (or slow) walk with your baby. My pup adores other dogs and loves having friends over, but can also be kept in the office or temperature controlled attached 2-car garage to provide ample space for your pet as we come outside if need be. I have space to crate your pup or cat if that works best for your needs as well. On my property I have a large, unfenced yard and can take your pet for wonderful walks in the grass and alongside the creek with me.

I respect each pet’s personality and any specific instructions you provide. If I’m doing overnight care, I maintain a calm and cozy environment, making sure your pet gets attention, companionship, and consistency while you’re away.

About: I have had 2 dogs of my own for 7 years. My sweet pups get pampered at home, so I would to share some love with other dogs around town while I have some extra time on my hands. I also have experience dog sitting for friends & family, but would love to expand to help new families! I am a teacher, so my afternoons and weekends are wide open! I’d love to spend some of my free time with your sweet animals. My pets have comfort, safety, and fun in my home. About: I’ve taken care of my puppies for over 6 years now! I absolutely love all kinds/ types of puppies! Neighbors, friends, family, and others have relied on me to walk, feed, and love on their fur babies!! I am a Senior at Troy University. I have time throughout my day and night to come love on your babies like they are my own! I will always make your babies my priority!! I offer pet sitting and pet walking! About: I've grown up with pets of all shapes and sizes, currently I have 17 pets (14 cats and 3 dogs) one of which attends university with me! I also have 2 years of vet experience so I can administer medication, walk, give baths, and brush outs! I am currently a sophomore in college working a campus job. I am not very active on campus aside from being in a sorority and working in housing and getting out with your fur babies would brighten my days! Snoopy is my 4 year old terrier that lives on campus with me, I take care of him on my own (vet trips, buying supplies, walking him actively) When I am home, I give medications, baths, brush out, and take them to the vet as well!

About: I have 3 beautiful children of ages 17, 4, & 3. I managed a local credit union before coming home to manage our household! I have had an animal in the house for over 20 years until recently, everything from a new born puppy to 13 year+ elderly dogs. Reach out to me for more info I am a homemaker, so my schedule is fairly open at all times. I am free from 8AM-1PM, then 4PM-8PM Monday-Friday. Weekends are open at all times. I have stayed overnight for multiple nights for some families that I have house/dog-watched for. I have let animals out for just a 30 minute outside/bathroom break. I always have my phone with me, and provide outstanding communication to the home/pet owners at all times.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid. Whether it be training and riding horses, feeding chickens, to raising puppies and kittens! My love for animals is my drive! I have experience with taking care of my past precious dog Mia, who had diabetes, and giving her insulin shots nightly. So if your fur baby has any specific needs or accommodations needed, just let me know and I’ll try my best to accommodate! I currently have a pretty flexible schedule, so unless I am out of town, or just not available, I can house sit, walk, and just overall provide for your bestfriend in the best ways!! I don’t believe in a punitive approach, but more of trying to help my pets to understand what Is necessary. Wether it be potty training, to manners with guest. About: My love for animals began as early as I can remember. I have always had a deep reverence for all life around me. I'm currently a student at UNA studying environmental science and sustainability. I hope to one day have my own farm. I've had a wide variety of pets over the years; gerbils, Guinea pigs, a box turtle, and many of my friends growing up had dogs as well. My first true animal companion was our family dog, Logan, who was a rescued Golden Retriever/ German Shepard mix. He passed away at age 15 when I was 13 on Christmas morning (no joke- of all days..). My family took a long time to get another dog because we felt that no dog could ever top Logan. My parents did get another dog since, a rambunctious and loving beagle mix named Molly. I have also had an orange tabby cat named Señor Platáno of which whom I allowed to be indoor and outdoor while I went to school at Kent State University, but he was tragically hit by a car. To this day I still think of him more as a dog the way we were so close. I haven’t been in the right place financially to have a dog of my own but at my most recent job I was able to interact with dogs on a daily basis and it always made my day. I decided to sign up for Rover because I am currently unemployed and enrolled at UNA so I thought what better way to earn some side money than to become a dog walker/sitter. I look forward to meeting as many furry friends as I can and I will truly cherish every encounter I am fortunate enough to have. Thank you. I am currently unemployed so my schedule is practically wide open. I will be resuming my education at UNA in the Fall, but all of my classes will be online so my schedule shouldn't change much. I live in Florence and I like to stay local with my hobbies so I’m not usually ever far from the Shoals area. Dog and cat care will fit well with my schedule. Pet care at a clients home will always be carried out with honor and reverence towards the clients, their home and their pets. I was a boyscout growing up and my loving parents taught me well to respect people and animals so when I leave a home I will leave it in the same condition or better than when I arrived. Your pet will get my undivided attention and care as I will treat them like I would my own, with love and respect.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and lizards most of my life! I grew up with all shapes and sizes of dogs bathing, feeding, scheduling, and loving them. I dog sit a handsome 11 year old mix breed and have never found an animal I didn’t want to befriend. I am currently looking to make my own schedule as normal jobs won’t fit my upcoming October school schedule. As I excel in pet care for you I will be able to cater more to my 9-4 (workable) school hours. I currently live at home both houses with a fenced in yard and parks near. Bringing pets into my home must be a special request as I have other animals aswell!!

About: I have had my own furbabies for 10+ yrs. I have a German shepherd lab mix that I’ve raised from pup she is 7 now, I have potty trained her, taught her basic commands. I also have 2 cats that I have raised from babies. I have learned patience with training and feeding schedules along with treats and walks. I am currently a stay at home wife, so I have open availability and I get up every morning and feed my furbabies and let them roam outside in our fenced in yard until they are ready for a nap. I would love the opportunity to help you where needed! My pets go in and out at much as they like, but if you are needing potty visits I can do that every 2-4 hrs and include a play time as well. I keep my home organized and clean and will keep yours clean and organized during stays as well!

About: I have been a dog owner for over 10 years. I grew up with a large dog and have a huge desire to train and give love and attention to all dogs. I have a flexible schedule so I can drop in on your dog 2-3x a day and work with them on training, and take them on walks to wear them out mentally and physically. No care provided in my home at this time. I can come to your house and provide walking, attention, and training there during times that are best.

About: Hi!! I have assisted family and friends with their fur babies since i was old enough to drive and it has always been my favorite thing to do! I love making sure our little friends are fed, watered, played with, loved, and overall taken care of, as they deserve. I am a stay at home mom, so I am almost always free! Because my son loves dogs and cats, I felt this was the perfect thing for me to do! Day to day pet schedules will always vary depending on what your specific pet needs, but food and outside time are very important. I offer walks, going to dog parks, or just staying in the yard!
