About: As a passionate animal advocate, I've had the privilege of serving as the Foster Care Coordinator at the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society for 1 year, while also volunteering with shelters throughout my adult life. Additionally, I'm a Certified Veterinarian Assistant, and my life's journey has been enriched by sharing it with diverse animals, from beloved domestic pets like dogs and cats, to hospice and senior animals. About: I genuinely love animals. I am the type of person who stops everyone and asks if I can pet their dog. I do have professional training in taking care of animals; I worked at an animal rescue and a doggy daycare! I am 22 years old and I have my own transportation and will work very hard to take care of your pet! I have experience walking dogs of all ages and sizes. I also have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes and ages. Including animals with special food requirements, feeding instructions and giving medications such as pills. I have some training in dogs with temperament issues. I also have experience in taking care of cats, fish and reptiles if needed. About: Hello! I am Briana, I am a 22 years old and currently just working jobs on here. I have 3 dogs: 2 female Australian Shepards and one male. I also have a leopard gecko and 3 chickens. I have always been the one to take care of our pets including feeding, walking, playing with them, etc. I will work with you to give you all my time I can so i can care for you and your fur bab(y/ies) needs. I am reliable, responsible and passionate about working with animals and plan to make a career out of working with animals. They are my pride and joy, and will treat yours like my own. About: I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting for over 2 years! As a child, I helped feed, bathe, clean up after and play with puppies my entire childhood. My love for dogs and animals grew with me and I began volunteering at animal shelters at 14 and working at dog care facilities at 16. I have been working in the pet care industry for 6 years and have been trained on dog behavior, handling and nutrition. I worked for a year as a veterinary assistant before moving to VA, and am looking forward to attending veterinary school this fall. I am experienced with dogs of all ages and understand the importance of training regimes for younger pups. Please reach out if you would like to learn more! Currently, my day-to-day schedule is constantly changing between pet sitting and classes on certain weekdays. I have been extremely successful in working around others’ schedules with my own, message me to check if I’m able to work with your timeframe! I am experienced and knowledgeable on dog handling and focus on dog safety and comfort. All dogs being walked outside of their home must have a harness or gentle leader, I will not walk dogs with just a collar unless they are unable to wear a harness or gentle leader due to age or health and understand that this is a possibility for many dogs. I make sure a dog feels comfortable and safe with me both in their home and before going out for a walk to guarantee the best safety for both of us. I will not take a dog off-leash outside of their home unless we are in a fully fenced in area the dog cannot escape from. All dogs being walked by me must be familiar with being leash-walked and cannot be leash aggressive. Currently open every day, I just require a 2-3 day heads up! Hours of service include 7am-8pm weekly. House sitting visits include 24 hour care. I do not let dogs off-leash in non-fenced in areas or in spaces with dogs unfamiliar to yours. I require all dogs and cats to be updated on their rabies vaccines. I will not take an unaltered dog outside of his or her home, this is for the safety and wellbeing of your dog. If your dog struggles with behavioral issues and has a history of aggression, please include this in your message so I can help you decide the best options for your pet when it comes to meeting a new pet sitter. If your dog struggles with severe anxiety (this is very common!) please include some of the best anxiety-reducing practices for your dog (ex. favorite blanket, hiding spots, calming treats / jackets) in their care instructions so that they can have the best time possible without their favorite human.

About: I’ve been an avid animal lover from a very young age and have worked with many different types and life stages. My most extensive experience is with horses, but I have also managed flocks of chickens, rehabilitated sick cats, trained dogs, have been responsible for the care of sheep. I was that girl in high school that everyone brought their sick pets to. Nowadays I’m the one people ask for advice concerning everything from behavioral to health problems. As my husband and I are starting our personal farm I am opening up my pet sitting to a more people. I’m currently managing my personal farm and have a seasonal part time job that takes me away Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons. Other than that, I am typically at home. I have a 18 acre farm for dogs with a good recall to play on. These dogs can spend most of their day joining me and my own pets in caring for the farm. For dogs without a good recall, I do have a smaller horse paddock that I can let them play in. The fence will hold most dogs of every shape and size. Interaction between residents of the paddock and your pets will only be allowed at my discretion. The residents are dog-friendly and will be moved to another area for your pup’s playtime. I also have access to 25 acre of woods with trails to take dogs on more extensive walks. My personal farm consists of chickens, quail, sheep, a pony, a cow, two large dogs and pigs. I personally feel that a happy pet is one that has a job. In coming to my farm your pets will be treated like my pets. I am not prone to spoiling but I do like to reward jobs well done. There are a few rules but they are easy to learn. Most visiting pets are pros within 15 minutes. I have several toys and puzzles to entertain pups that are more indoor oriented.

About: I love animals big and small. I have owned three hamsters, 5 fish, 4 dogs, and up to 6 cats. I wouldn’t be who I was without them!! Love and enjoy carrying for animals as much as kids! Based on the task given wether staying for couple hours or to just walking them I would fit in whenever and where ever I am needed. I will make sure when I am caring for your fur baby that they are safe and happy. And as comfortable as one can be missing there humans.

About: I have had pets all my life! We have had cats and dogs growing up. As an adult, we have even had chickens! I love playing with all sorts of fur babies! Not to mention extra snuggles! I have been house-sitting and watching friends' dogs while they go on vacation and have loved every second of it! The job I have right now allows me a lot of free time and I work on my own schedule. About: Hello! My name is Zach, I have two dogs and two cats of my own and have grown up with no less than four pets at any given time. Often when I meet people's furry companions I'm told they warm up to me faster than normal and even some times for the first time, so I'm open to try to care for almost any pet! My partner and I work from home so we're available and flexible throughout the week for all pet care services. Just let us know when and we can try to make it work! I have a big but unfenced yard, two sweet begal-hound mix brothers (one is energetic, the other lazy) and two sweet and playful cat sisters. It's a cozy and fun home environment. All the animals get plenty of attention (we love to play) and the dogs are let out consistently throughout the day. About: I’ve had dogs on and off my entire life. For the last 12 years our family has rescued/adopted 11 dogs. I have kept family and friends' dogs while they vacation as well as done drop ins at their home for walks, feeding and cuddling. I have also taken care of goats and chickens. I will treat your pets how I would want someone to treat mine. I am comfortable around all size and breeds of dogs and cats as well as goats and chickens. I am self employed and have a very flexible schedule. I am available almost any time, including nights and weekends. Most schedules can be accommodated. I have 5 acres which about 1/2 acre is fenced in with 6-foot fencing. I can snuggle your dog on the couch or crate them if they feel more comfortable like that. I have my own personal dogs but keep them separate from other people's pets. If you leave directions of what your pets routine in your home is like I can provide for them in that manner.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals cats, dogs, fish, and even plants! I love to help my friends, family, and more with walking their dog, feeding their cat, or watering plants! I work only a few days a week because I’m a stay at home mother so I would give your pup all my love. I’m available during the week from 11am - 8pm. I take my dogs on walks as well as play fetch at least once a day! I feed them twice a day and let them out every 2-3 hours. If i dog/cat sit for someone I go to their house 2 times a day to feed, walk, or whatever else I’m instructed to do.
