“We have a 14-year-old dog who needs to go out quite often, so finding someone reliable is really important to us. We met Abbey before booking her for a 3-night stay, and everything went smoothly from the start. She was right on time for the meet-and-greet and again when she arrived to watch our pup. During our trip, she sent a couple of photos and responded to any texts we sent, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. If you’re looking for someone who is easygoing and dependable, I’d absolutely recommend Abbey. I would happily hire her again.”

“Heather and Paul took care of our house, dog and two cats while we were away for three weeks. They provided daily photos and communications, and when we returned the house was in perfect condition, clean and picked up. They took great of our pets and we were very pleased!”

“Nick is great. Our two very active dogs love when he comes to stay. He is very active with them going on adventurous walks and we always get great pictures documenting all the fun they have. Nick is also a great house guest. Everything is great when he leaves. On his last visit one of our dogs had some tummy trouble, he took the time and care to bring over his carpet cleaner and clean it all up. I still can't tell where it was. Do not hesitate to have Nick come and stay, we have had him come many times and will continue. Thank you, Nick!”

“Kelly watched our 3 year old dog Margo the afternoon and evening of our wedding. She was friendly, communicative and trustworthy which allowed for us to have full confidence in her and enjoy our wedding without having to worry about Margo. Would absolutely recommend to anyone! Thanks again Kelly!”

About: I genuinely love spending time with our four legged furry friends, whether that is relaxing giving them pets and ear scratches or going on a fun little adventure out in nature. I know every dog has their quirks and I like to learn them so that I can ensure the best care and also comfortably of the animal. My schedule is currently wide open. I am able to provide any care needed. For daily routine, I typically go on one or more walks or outdoor excursions. I have a fenced in yard. There is another dog that lives in my home, but he is friendly and other animals are welcome as long as they are friendly as well.
“What a pleasure to have such a great sitter for our two dogs. Both are giant breed and one is a 7 month old puppy! The dogs were happy and safe, the house and grounds were looking fabulous. We cannot thank her enough…She even sent text updates with photos. We are so pleased to have found her.”

About: I have cared for many different animals including cats and dogs, rats, horses, goats, alpacas, chickens, and cows. I’ve pet sat overnight, over extended periods of time, as well as for simple daily visits. I have a lot of experience taking care of special-needs animals, including caring for diabetic, blind, and three-legged dogs. I have volunteered at animal shelters for years and tended to dogs of many different temperaments. I have a sweet Ragdoll mixed cat who is the light of my life, and we both hope to someday have a dog in our home (he’s a very dog-savvy kitty). My love for animals led me to be a vegetarian for 12 years before transitioning to a full vegan. I love animals of all kind and I actively seek opportunities to spend time with them and care for them. I am very responsible and reliable, and I am committed to the wellbeing of these wonderful furry companions. I have a flexible schedule and particularly enjoy visits that can be morning and evening around daytime work. However, I can do visits that fall outside of that. It always brightens my day to have furry friends to tend to. I have a sweet dog-savvy cat at home, and I always lead with the animals individual comfort and specific needs in their home. This looks like asking their caretaker what they need, and ensuring that there’s a system in place in case questions come up. It also looks like getting to know the animals and paying careful attention to their physical and emotional well-being. For example, if feeding times are consistent, I will honor that as to minimize stress from a change in routines.
About: A little bit of good company and care makes a world of difference in assuring a calm and relaxed dog. I'm here for you both. I care for animals professionally (mostly birds) and have a deep interest in animal behavior that I use all the time for clear, comfortable communication. I can easily deliver medications, and I am a skilled animal trainer. Thanks for your consideration. I’m working full time, Sunday through Thursday, so I treat your pets like my own and make sure to give them quality time before and after work. I want your pets to be able to keep their normal routines so they remain relaxed and confident. As near as I am able, I will keep your schedule for your animals.
