About: I’ve been trusted with every sort of pet from a tiny lizard to a giant horse. I also have years of experience working in a veterinary hospital and providing care to young and old pets. I currently work as a Behavioral therapist for kids with autism. I don’t start my work day until 12 pm and have plenty of time in between clients to care for your sweet animals. With a flexible schedule and plenty of time before and after work I can ensure all pets will get the time and care they deserve. I have a big fenced yard that my dog freely runs in. Where I also take my bunny and cat on frequent walks. All of my pets are very friendly and love the company of other animals.

About: I have over 20 years experience taking care of other people’s “fur babies”. I love them like they are mine. I am very responsible, dependable, observant and able to handle any unexpected situations that might arise. I am self-employed and work part-time so I have a lot of availability. I have the ability (and desire) to give pets quality time and attention. Every pet is unique and their needs are different. Some pets prefer physical connection while others prefer having a ball thrown for them to chase. Like us, pets each have their own love language. About: Experience with senior animals, large dogs, skittish animals, I have been taking care of animals since I was young and have a passion of animals/ animal care and often foster dogs. I work at FOAC(the animal rescue). I also have experience with medical dogs, including diabetes. I currently am enrolled in Columbia College but it is all online. About: I have owned dogs, horses, chickens and pigs my entire life. Prior to having my twins, I worked at a vet office for three years as a receptionist and vet assistant. While working at the vet office, I pet sat for clients dogs and cats when they went out of town. I also worked at a pet boarding facility before the vet, but at both places I cared for all the animals as if they were my own. I am currently working part-time night shift, I am a mom to my twin daughters that are three years old and my son who is seven months old. My husband is a mobile mechanic and makes his own schedule so if there is a prior commitment that I have my husband can be around for the short time that I am out. I treat every animal and home I pet sit at as if they're my own! I love sharing pictures with the clients to ensure they can feel at ease that they’re pet is being well cared for.

About: I have 10+ years of experience with dogs, cats, and other animals. I have owned 5 dogs and trained all of them to do basic and intermediate level tricks. I will care for your pets as if they were my own! Anything that your pet needs, I guarantee I will take care of it. I am available part-time to come to your home and drop in on your pets, or to stay with them in their home while you're away! Since making pet sitting my full time job, being at home with your pet is my main priority. However, I do have to leave occasionally to go run errands or check in on others pets. INTRODUCTIONS **Two situations for introductions:** - Introducing a new dog to resident dogs in the household. - Introducing dogs to each other at a dog park or social gathering. **Introduction procedure:** - Introductions should occur in neutral territory to minimize territorial behavior. - Use leashes initially to control the dogs and ensure safety. - Observe body language closely for signs of aggression or stress (e.g., raised hackles, stiff posture). - Allow sniffing and initial interaction in a controlled manner. **Warning signs I watch for:** - Growling, snapping, or excessive barking. - Stiff body posture, ears pinned back, or tail raised stiffly. - Attempted dominance displays (mounting, head-over-shoulder posture). **Reaction to stress signs:** - Immediately separate the dogs if signs of stress or aggression appear. - Redirect their attention calmly and assess the situation before attempting further introductions. FEEDING **Feeding multiple pets at once:** - Separate feeding areas for each pet to prevent resource guarding. - Feed pets in crates or gated areas if necessary. - Supervise meal times and maintain a calm environment to reduce anxiety. ANXIETY **Calming anxious pets:** - Create a comfortable, safe space with familiar items (e.g., their bed, toys). - Use calming techniques such as gentle petting, soothing voice, or soft music. - Engage in low-stress activities like short walks or play sessions to distract from anxiety. **Communication with owner:** - Document any signs of anxiety observed, including frequency and severity. - Provide updates to the owner via text or email, detailing activities and behavior changes. - Suggest strategies for the owner to continue managing anxiety after the stay ends. By following these safety protocols, I'm well-prepared to handle various situations that may arise while dog sitting, ensuring the safety and well-being of the pets under my care.

About: I know how hard it can be to leave your babies at home and not be there with them. I'm here to ease your mind when it comes to leaving them alone. I love dogs and I want to make sure they are safe an comfortable. For those who are gunna be my little house guests for however long you're gone, they will have ample room to play. If you need me to walk or check in on your dogos, I'm happy to help and make sure they are happy while you're gone. I have friendly fur babies here at home that would love to play with yours. I do happen to have one dog who isn't as friendly but he is always crated when other dogs are around so there is no worries in your pets getting hurt here. About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid. I currently have a 3 year old beagle named Stan who loves to be outside. I have had several dogs with different energy levels - from a crazy Jack Russell to a super sweet golden retriever. I am very patient and most of my dogs have been rescues. Stan came from an animal testing facility & had never been outside or touched grass when I rescued him. I work remotely from home with a really flexible schedule. I live on 3 acres with my beagle, Stan. I’m very active & love to hike. Stan loves other friendly dogs and would be a great buddy for your dog. We love to snuggle up and takes lots of walks. I do have a crate here at my house if that is needed.

About: Although I don’t have pets of my own, over the past several years I’ve had the chance to care for a wide variety of dogs of all ages and sizes. I live down the street from some dog friendly hiking trails and my backyard is quite large so the energetic pups are always happy. I am accommodating and love the experiences I have meeting each new pet. A highlight was fostering and finding homes for 5 kittens in 2022! I have a relatively flexible schedule and am willing to travel a reasonable distance, message me for further schedule details- most frequently available on weekends I have a keen attention to detail that can keep too curious pups out of trouble. I love to hear special instructions from the owner about what their pets like!

About: I have been around animals of all shapes and sizes my whole life! Reptiles, birds, furry creatures, large dogs, small dogs, cats… you name it! My mom is a dog groomer and I used to work for her as well! I am good with puppies, kittens, old animals, medication administration, and I am a tidy lady who loves a clean house. I am a stay at home mom who is reliable and available to call on when you need a house sitter, dog walker, check in on your furry family members.. whatever you need I will be there to help! I am a stay at home mom so I am available and pretty flexible! I love to go for a walk/hike with my kids and would love to bring your friend with us! Or if you need some pop ins I am able to work around that as well! I will attend to you and your pets needs as you wish! I LOVE animals of all kinds and will give them all my attention and love that I have! I have a few kids who LOVE animals as well and could keep them company or my Lab and 2 kitties love other animals as well. I am a clean person and will make sore everything is clean and good to go for when you get home as well.

About: We have a relaxed, clean and comfortable environment with fenced yard. My schedule varies quite a bit so just let me know what you need and I will try to accommodate. We have two 7 yo Terriers, one who is extremely friendly , The other takes a few minutes to warm up to new people and 2 caged Guinea pigs. I'm available most days and some evenings as well. I prefer medium to small dogs ( who aren’t constant barkers) And wouldn't be comfortable with a Pitt Bull. Please bring a bed, familiar blanket/toy and food. I also request no extremely dirty or muddy pets please and nails kept at an appropriate length since we do have mostly hardwood flooring. Thank you and hope to see you soon! We are up early. The dogs are free to roam around the house and our large back yard. We love to snuggle on the couch or run around outside.
