This is the first time I have used Rover and l am very pleased. I liked the profiles and reviews on the pet sitters. I did alot of reading and then chose Jenna. She owned other dogs that l knew my dog would play with and Jenna had very positive reviews and MANY return clients. Dogs can't speak in English but my dog conveyed to me a good *sleep over camp" experience. She was happy. Not frantic or nervous in any way when l picked her up . Drank normally upon getting home and is acting 100% in her usual way. Dogs tell you a lot if you know how to listen Jenna is a great dog sitter. Knows how to read a dog and act accordingly. Also a great communicator. I recommend her

Olivia was amazing! We left our 7m kitten with her, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She sent us daily updates and pictures, which made us feel so comfortable knowing he was happy and well taken care of. He absolutely loved staying with her! He got along so well with her male cat and even had fun with her two kids. Olivia was so sweet, caring, and attentive, and we could tell our kitten was genuinely happy and comfortable with her. We would 100% recommend her and will definitely book with her again!

About: Animals have always been the center of my life. I'm currently a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and PhD student at North Carolina State University, where I focus on animal health and welfare. Before returning to veterinary school, I spent over a decade leading teams in the technology industry, so reliability, communication, and professionalism are second nature. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy, an older parrot, an independent and opinionated cat, or a shy saltwater goby, I take care of them all. For every single animal, from a senior who needs a slower pace or simply loves extra attention, I'll care for them as if they were my own. I understand normal pet behavior, can recognize when something doesn't seem right, and I'm comfortable administering most medications if needed. While you're away, you can expect: Frequent photo and video updates Prompt communication Play and engagement tailored to their energy level Plenty of affection and enrichment Respect for your pet's routine and training I know leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful. My goal is to make both you and your loved one feel completely at ease from our first meet-and-greet through the moment you return home. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend(s)! My dissertation-writing schedule gives me the flexibility to provide dependable, individualized care without rushing from place to place. Caring for pets is something I intentionally weave into my day, so your dog or cat receives genuine attention, enrichment, and companionship, not just a quick stop in. I love having animals as part of my daily routine, and I strive to make every visit feel calm, engaging, and tailored to your pet's unique personality. Creating a safe, enriching environment for animals is simply part of who I am. My home has a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely explore, play, and relax under close supervision. Because I share my home with my own dogs, fish, and other beloved animals, it's already thoughtfully designed with their safety and well-being in mind. From secure fencing and pet-safe spaces to keeping anything potentially hazardous out of reach, I strive to create an environment where every animal can feel comfortable and secure. I believe every living being deserves kindness, patience, and respect. Whether your pet loves to run and play, curl up for a nap, or quietly observe the world around them, I'll provide a calm, loving space where they can settle in and feel at home. My goal isn't just to "watch" your pet, it's to make them feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for while you're away.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple animals throughout my life, such as dogs, cats, lizards, snakes, ducks, and chickens. I’m very reliable and will make sure to follow directions on how you want your animal taken care of. I am currently a student and have a part time job, but I also have a lot of free time on my hands making this type of job perfect for me. I grew up around cats and dogs growing up and care deeply for animals. For animals I board I like to do a meet and greet to let your animal get to know an unfamiliar place with you there. For dog sitting I like to do a meet and greet at the house or a nearby park to get to know your pet and so that I’m not a stranger to them when hanging with them.

About: Hi! I am JoLynn and I am a pet owner and animal lover that enjoys dedicating my time to dog walking and drop in animal care! I have experience caring for cats, dogs, birds, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters and domestic ducks. My current pets are a miniature dachshund, a large breed doberman, a blue and gold macaw and a domestic duck! I have worked with many animals and am comfortable grooming, walking, feeding, playing with and caring for your pets. I will make sure your pet gets the exercise, attention, and love he/she needs while you are away. Your pets will receive the same care I would want for my own. As of August 2026, there are 63 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across Arapahoe. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Every sitter has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.

Sitters may also include daily walks in the neighborhood during your dog's boarding stay. You can also request photo and message updates throughout so you can see which local landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.

If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Arapahoe home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Arapahoe.

Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Arapahoe sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
