About: I am a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet sitter who is new to Rover but not new to caring for dogs. I work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. I also have experience administering medications and am comfortable following detailed feeding, medication, and care routines. My husband and I live on a farm with our 4-year-old female Standard Poodle, Maggie. She is friendly, well trained, and enjoys having other dogs around. Although our yard is not fenced, all dogs are closely supervised outdoors and taken on multiple leashed walks each day. Our property offers plenty of space for safe walks, exploring, and sniffing. I recently completed my PhD at Baylor University and bring responsibility, attention to detail, and reliability to everything I do. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I will treat your dog like part of our family while keeping you updated throughout their stay. I have cared for pets for friends, family, and others since high school, with more regular pet-sitting experience in recent years. Please note that dogs staying in our home must be comfortable using stairs. I work from home most days, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I am available throughout the day for regular potty breaks, companionship, feeding, medication, and plenty of attention. I already follow a consistent routine with my Standard Poodle, Maggie, including multiple leashed walks each day. Because we live on a farm, visiting dogs also have plenty of opportunities to walk, explore, and sniff while remaining safely supervised. I live in a cozy studio apartment above the garage on our farm, so the indoor space is modest, but dogs have plenty of opportunities for supervised outdoor time, walks, and exploring around the property. I follow each pet’s usual feeding, walking, medication, and sleep routine as closely as possible. I also provide regular photos and updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: I’ve taken care of animal almost my whole life. I’ve experienced situations others might not know how to handle. I have gone from grooming pets, walking around parks, following precise rules pet owners have left me, and allowing lots of playtime. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, chickens, horses, sheep’s, ducks, fishes, lobsters, and any animals you can imagine on a farm. I am a full time college student, but always make sure to fit the pets needs/schedule into mine. I will let any owner know if for some reason it will not fit into my schedule allowing them to look for someone else. Pet care becomes a natural part of me.
