“Rippy spent 2 days with Alexsys and had an amazing time. Alexsys kept us updated and sent pictures. It was clear that our doggie loved his time with her. Alexsys was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. We will book with her again when we come to town.”

About: Dog care certified in Argentina, as an animal lover I want to pursue career caring for them. Since young, I used to spend a lot of time in dog walks and parks with them. I believe now, I can provide them the perfect environment of a fenced backyard of 10.000 sqf. I love to exercise and pamper pups and we're easy to reach, even for a last-minute need. With some dog training experience and a lot of love for dogs, I look forward to taking care of your family member like one of our own. Depending on your pup's needs, I will take long playtime or jogs with your dog. If your furry family member just needs companionship and loving attention, I am happy to provide that kind of care, too. Photos of your dog will be shared with you throughout their visit. I love to send lots of pictures of my guests. My house is generally a cage-free environment, but will use your crates if that is what your pup is used to at home. I have a couple of gates to use as necessary to separate dogs during meals and to give them a large, safe play area in our home.
“My Ellie was so happy and tired when I picked her up! I can tell she had a great time with this family 🙂. Allison was very communicative and promptly greeted me upon drop-off/pick-up!”

About: Life is Good with pets! I have been providing professional pet care services for dogs for over 5 years. I have always had different dogs in my life from childhood to adulthood. I’ve seen how happy my own pet is from taking him on regular walks and I am excited to provide this same experience for other pets. I have a large, fenced yard in a semi-rural neighborhood, and I enjoy taking dogs on nice long walks. Pets are allowed on furniture to snuggle and I am also happy to crate train pets, if preferred. I am currently working from home, so I have most of my time to give attention and love to your pet. I am happy to provide these services at all times. I have plenty space and a fenced yard for your pet to play or simple go on potty breaks, if needed. The services requested will be depending on the customers offer :)

“Amazing stay for Shenzi!! Thank you so much for loving on him while we were away. We loved all the updates and pics throughout the day and it meant so much to see him happy. He had the best time running around in her huge yard and playing with his new friends. We picked up a very happy and very tired pup! Highly recommend; we'll definitely be booking again!”

About: Recent retiree has plenty of time to give you peace of mind while caring for pet. Throughout my life, I raised 8 family dogs (Labrador Retriever, Huskies, Weimaraner, Papillons, Corgi, Boykin Spaniel), helped raise 3 grand-pups (Long-haired Dachshund, Goldendoodle, Labradoodle) and pet-sat for several extended-family dogs while their humans were away on vacation. 5 of the 8 family dogs I raised from puppyhood. 6 of the 8 family dogs I brought through basic dog training. During the initial months of my retirement, I would walk our family’s 9 year old Goldendoodle 1-2 miles each morning; however, he unexpectedly succumbed to cancer, recently. My attention is fully available for caring for your pet. At one time, my home had 4 dogs each different in size and personality, but they all got along great! My back yard is large and fenced in. This is the first time in over 30 years my home is without personal pets, although I continue to pet-sit grand-pups and other extended-family dogs. Your pet will be treated with love and affection like my pets!

About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart! I have years of experience caring for animals of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities through pet sitting, walking, and caring for pets belonging to friends, family, and members of my community. As I have been a pet owner twice myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family members. I’m dependable, patient, attentive, and happy to follow your pet’s individual routine, whether that means walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, or extra attention for senior pets. I will treat your pets like my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! I am currently part-time meaning I have more then enough time to ensure that your animals routine is met. My schedule is also flexible so if something comes up and your pet needs more attention I will be able to accommodate. I have a fenced in yard and live in a very walkable community. The neighborhood is very animal friendly! I’ve also have pet proofed my house with having experiences of watching many types of pets.
“Barbara was polite, thoughtful, and kind. She texted to let us know how he was doing about halfway through the appointment, and she shared a cute picture. I would definitely book with her again and certainly recommend her!”

“Siska was fabulous! Quick response to my request, very professional. She guided us through a calm meet & greet, so our furbabies could slowly and safely get acquainted. The babysitting day Hachi left me without looking back, already comfortable. Siska sent videos while she watched my babygirl. When I picked up Hachi she was all smiles. Will definitely request Siska next time I visit the area.”

About: For years, I've walked the fields and trails along the Potomac River with a furry companion - most recently with Flannery, my family's Great Pyrenees who loved romping in Virginia Bluebell flowers and sinking her paws into mud. Animals have always been a part of my life. I've mucked stalls, herded ewes and lambs, evaded headbutting rams, cuddled pigs, milked goats, trimmed hooves, and named a farm dynasty of cats and kittens names like "Nefertiti" and "Isosceles" (after Egyptian royalty and geometry terms). Animals and their personalities are a source of endless interest for me. “If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans.” ~James Herriot I have a flexible work schedule at home and welcome an excuse to enjoy fresh air and exercise together with your pet. I'm available for daycare and dog-walking most days except for Sunday mornings. Your dog can stay indoor in my apartment and outdoor in the fenced-in yard, as needed. I live in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for walking. If additional space is needed for running and walking in the open countryside, I am also happy to take your dog on a "field trip" to my family's home in the countryside. I am comfortable walking large and medium-sized dogs, and I've provided pet-sitting for a variety of breeds. I take a gentle approach and enjoy making shy pets feel relaxed. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me to discuss how we can best customize care for your dog.

I have plenty of experience watching dogs, cats, and even reptiles on several different occasions for a few years now and I will never get tired of meeting new ones! I have a passionate love for animals and believe they deserve the best care possible. I’ve been looking for a job and came to the conclusion this is the best for me. As of right now, I have all the time in the world to look after pets and be their friend. Contact me whenever you need me! :) I live in a safe and friendly neighborhood. I do not have a fence but and perfectly fine taking dogs out on the leash for the bathroom or just for a walk. Gabby was exceptional taking care my dog, Luna! It was my first time leaving her with a sitter and using Rover and she made the experience so much easier. She loved on my pup and sent me updates with pictures and videos throughout her overnight stay. Gabby is professional, friendly, and caring towards the pup and their human. I needed some handholding and she was super kind. I’d recommend Gabby any time!
