About: As a lifelong dog dad, I have years of experience with my own pets and with others. Being a working author makes home pet sitting is an ideal situation for me. All I need is internet and a place to sit with my laptop. Cuddles from the fur babies always provides inspiration. You can count on responsible care from a guy who has had more life experience than some (a kind way to say older). 🙂 Although I prefer just a few days at a time since I’m married and have my own fur babies, I would consider longer term house sitting for the right situation. I am a working author. This makes my situation flexible and provides my ability to be attentive. I still perform vocals with a jazz band, but that would be blocked off on my schedule as would any book tours. My policy for care of your pets is that you know them best. I hope not to drive you crazy with requests of daily schedule, but routines are important for our fur families. Therefore, I will want to know a typical day and will try to adhere to that as closely as possible. I do not accept pets in my home.

“Sherry and her husband were fantastic. They cared for our puppy Maxwell for a week while we were out of town. They addressed all of his needs including medication and diet modifications. As he was recovering from a recent illness. In addition to carrying for Maxwell, they kept our home tidy and were flexible when our flight was canceled and we returned home a day late. Will definitely consider having them care for Maxwell in the future.”

About: I have been taking care of my dogs and my family members dogs from a young age. I have grown up around dogs and cats and animals have become a passion of mine. I currently have 4 dogs but no cats at the moment. I’m also currently taking an online dog training class in order to get my certificate in dog training. I’m currently employed part time and also a part time student online. And in between i’m hoping to get a few hours of pet care. I have been taking care of my family dogs for quite some time and have learned several things from it. I can walk dogs, bathe dogs, cut nails on calm dogs, feed and water dogs, give medications, clean cat litter boxes, and play with your pet.

About: I grew up with family dogs and cats. You name it, we’ve had the breed. From chihuahuas, to huskies, to dobermans, to great danes. Therefore extremely comfortable with all sized fur babies. I have experience with all ages, from puppies as we have bred our great danes years ago, twice, to elderly dogs who are blind and/or deaf. etc. I actually have my own pup, she is a husky. Her name is cora and she is definitely a handful but i am blessed my hands are full with a smart, funny yet stubborn puppy haha. I also have cats, lazy fat house cats haha. I was looking for job opportunity that will allow me flexibility, work with fur babies (may or may not like them better then humans haha) and to be a mom to my 10 months old daughter as well, that is why i am pursuing Rover in hopes i can do it all at once. Looking forward to meeting your fur babies soon :) My pets daily care is naturally apart of my daily routine, she is family. Not just an animal. Animals cannot fend for themselves, it is important to me that my animals feel important, instead of a burden. My husky, Cora, is walked every two hours and fed two meals a day and has access to water 24/7. I am flexible to learn other animals schedules and eating times, as every animal is different.

About: I love all animals, and I really enjoy outdoor activities, so I work well with energetic animals, but I am happy to take care of just about any kind or size of animal. I am off of work from Sunday to Tuesday, so those days typically work best for me to give my full attention to any animals. I am in an apartment, so watching animals at their original home typically works best for me, but I could make watching animals at my apartment work.

I’m an active person so your do would never be bored. I treat every animal like it’s my own so it would be going to someone who would love the furry friend as well as someone who would take the best care of him/her. Animals in my mind should be treated like a human family member! I’m currently in college, so as long as your needs can align with my class schedule i’ll be there. to note: I am UNAVAILABLE all tuesdays. I am a very aware and cautious person. About: I love dogs!! I have taken care of dogs for family, friends, and clients for over six years. I have experience with all breeds and sizes. I treat every dog like I would my own: with love, care, and extra treats😉 I work at a restaurant, so my shifts are short (around 5 hours). Sometimes I work lunch and sometimes I work dinner. My availability throughout the day varies based on which one I am working, but I can adjust my schedule if need be! I am very flexible and can switch shifts around easily. Regardless, I am free every morning before 10am. I am very respectful of other people's homes and I leave things exactly as I left them, if not cleaner. I follow instructions closely and thoroughly to ensure a happy client and a happy pup.
