About: I am that person who stops everything wherever I am to talk to dogs walking or play with them in the pet store. Pets are great friends. I work full time from home. 6a-230p. I live right outside of Penn Estates. Weekends I am available at any time. During the week after 230. I walk my 2 dogs around on a leash. They have seatbelts/car seats for car rides. About: I've grown up with dogs all my life since I was five years old. In my family we've had three labradors two yellow one chocolate, golden retriever, and a neighbor German shepher With experience from walking, play, dog park, care, medication, food, training etc. I'm quite flexible with schedules. Will do morning, afternoon, evening and overnight on weekends and weekdays. I make and sell pottery online in my spare time on Etsy SunshinyPottery. I keep cookies in pocket if outside for play and or walks to keep nearby. I've trained my dog to understand when we're going somewhere by saying "straight to the car". Nate was prompt to respond on the site, we met in advance at a public eatery to get to know each other, and he came to my house after to meet my cats and get a basic run down on their needs. He was very pleasant, easy to talk to, and my cats took an instant liking to him. I would highly recommend him to others and will hire him again in the future! About: I’ve been a dog owner for 8 years, but a dog lover my whole life. Growing up without a dog, it was my dream to one day not only own a dog, but to care and love for all animals. As soon as my husband and I bought our own place to live, we knew adding a dog to our family would be first on our list. We now have 2 sweet, high energy labrador retrievers. Our yellow one, named Copper, was born in 2016 and our black one, named Buddy, was born the following year. We have had both dogs since they were about 7 weeks old. I also have experience in care of small dogs too. My parents have had 2 shih-tzus since 2012 & 2013 and I’ve occasionally cared for them, more so when I was in college. (But I see and play with them on a regular basis) I have some small farm animals in our backyard. I have had 2 Nigerian dwarf goats since 2022 and chickens since 2024. I currently am a stay at home mom of two little ones, but I work part time during the week 2 days. My schedule is flexible, but I’m mostly open on the weekends Friday afternoon through Monday night. I will care for your pets the same way I care for my pets, with lots of love and lots of attention. In my home, our dogs sleep on the bed with us, lay on the couch with us, get lots of snuggles and lots of play time outside.
About: NOTE: Shae is my legal name but I go by Freyja. Having grown up with dogs (black labs mostly), rabbits, birds, fish, lizards, and amphibians, I am quite comfortable around all animals. It seems only natural that I ended up working in the Denali NPS Kennel and ran sled dog tours on Svalbard. I worked at a dog daycare for about 4 months and a pig rescue/boarding facility for a few months as well. I LOVE big dogs! I am self-employed though I am a student, so my schedule is a bit different most days. Generally, afternoons and evenings are available. As my self employment requires me to be at my home office, I prefer not to do overnights regularly. As each pet requires something a little different, I like to ensure that I know what they need to thrive and will do my absolute best to make sure they receive it.
