“I could not have picked a better dog sitter. Nadia took such great care of my Alfie! I could tell from all the pictures she sent me that she really loved him. I am so thankful that I found her! Alfie had some rough times in his past but she handled his issues with great care and love ❤️”

“Casey and her family are the best dog sitters you could ever ask for! It felt like my dog got his own mini vacation while I was on my trip, because he was so well taken care of. They are absolutely AMAZING!”

“Debbie and Pete were incredible people that made me feel so comfortable leaving my dog behind for a week. Their accommodations are top notch and I believe my dog had a better time away from us and was in more like a camp situation than being boarded.”

About: I raise lovable, friendly Aussies here on my farm. I train my dogs to protect the chickens, ducks and honeybees. Your pet will be exclusively cared for inside my home as the special guest with every need met. Your pet may not want to go home after all this love and attention =). I work, farm, school and play from home and am here 90% of the time. My 46 acre farm feels like a magical place that flows with fresh spring water and honey as we are a honeybee sanctuary. I allow your pet to roam free within my home during the day. I prefer them in a crate at nighttime but I am only in the next room close by. They will be taken out every 2 hours or so on a leash. My Aussies are extremely friendly, working farm dogs and love to meet our visitors when they go out to potty or play. Your pet will also have the opportunity to meet other farm animals and get comfortable with them if they would like. I have about a mile of trails around my farm and I walk daily. If your dog is allowed on the trails and in my creeks, I ask that you purchase the bath as well so they go home super clean.

“Layne did a wonderful job with Sandy. I was a little anxious at first leaving Sandy, but Layna kept me informed with updates daily, videos of there play time together outside. If you are looking for a dog sitter for any reason, you won't be disappointed.”

“My big boy had the pleasure of staying with Furry Friends Academy over the weekend as I had to travel out of town for family business! Let me say I was very hesitant about using Rover but was in a bind so I did and I’m so glad I did! My big boy had the best time of his life! He got to socialize with other people, dogs and became really good friends with another GSD! I got so many updated pictures it was as if he was with me! Then I literally just got these picture they took of him! I must say I am beyond impressed with the level of care and love he got! If you are in need of a pet sitter I can recommend them! #germanshepherdpuppy”

“Issa is usually shy and hides from people. I think she really enjoyed Samantha. I believe she was spoiled while staying there. I really appreciate you making sure she was comfortable and keeping me updated. Thank you”

About: I have been caring for animals since I was a child. I love to stay active so you can be sure your pup will get his/her exercise in. I've also helped care for elderly dogs. I have a flexible work schedule which allows for very open availability during the week/weekends. The only preferred start time would be 9am Monday through Friday. I will care for your pet as if they were my own. Going on walks, playing catch, minor grooming are just a few things that I can provide.

“Our dog had a great time with Tina! She was very attentive and keep us up-to-date everyday. We appreciated that she sent us so many pictures/texts about how Hootie was playing/eating/getting along with other dogs. Hootie had such a fun time!”

About: I'm a second generation dog sitter who started young; at the age of 6, I was going with my mom to her many pet sitting gigs. Now, I'm an independent pet sitter who has a ton of free time to hang out with your furbabies! My professional sitting experience includes the past 7 years of dedicated service to clients in Chesterfield, as well as the surrounding area. (References available! :) ) I'm willing to travel up to 60-75 miles from my home here in Powhatan, and I'm comfortable with any breed and size of dog, as well as cats, reptiles, and farm animals. I have experience administering medication, as well as handling special needs dogs. I'm usually available on short term notice, and can do late night and weekend visits. I SPECIALIZE IN FARM SITTING! :) DAYCARE/BOARDING GUESTS: just a heads up, we do have livestock on the property, as well as working dogs.:) Hope to hear from you soon! I work from home, so pet care fits into my routine really well. I’m not in meetings or anything all day, so my routine revolves around your pet’s schedule. :) I treat my clients’ homes with respect and care, just as I do my own home. I’ll clean up any messes your pet might make, as well as keep the home the way it was or better while you’re away.

“I was in a bind. My friend couldn’t watch my dog for a planned trip very last minute. Gina and Christopher saved my vacation. It was so difficult to leave my doggie behind but Gina kept in touch consistently. My furbaby did great and was in awesome, loving hands!”

About: I have two small dogs who are my world. I love all types of pets, but can make room in my schedule and heart to take care of your dogs and cats. I will board dogs, but can only stop in and check on your cats. I am currently retired and only work some part-time jobs. I am pretty flexible and will work with families to take care of your precious pets. I have a large farm and home and will crate your dogs as needed. They will love the open space for walks and play. I will keep all pets separated for a more stress-free experience.

About: I've taken care of pets since I was 13. Neighbors, friend and family have relied on me to feed, walk and care for their pets. I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals (chickens, goats, cows, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, etc...). We are a homeschooling family and have time throughout the day to care for your pet in an intentional and respectful way. I can feed them, take them out for frequent potty breaks and go for walks with your pet. I am able to give a lot of care and attention to your pet. We have 3 outdoor dogs in a kennel and 1 indoor cavapoo. I can crate your dog if needed. I am willing to keep your pet indoors. I will treat your pet like one of our own. We live on a farm and have everything necessary to care for your pet in a healthy manner.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 12. My parent’s friends typically just had me stop by 3-4 times per day! I work from 8:30-5pm. However, my breaks are flexible and my bosses are willing to work with me so that I can do what I need to do! I am unfortunately not allowed to host dogs in my home. My apartment complex is very strict about this and will fine me if I host dogs overnight.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was 4 years old. I have had pets of my own, cared for neighbors pets, and pet sitting as well. I am currently not working and am self employed part time, so I will have plenty of time to care for and play with your dog and/or cat! I have a leash tied to our porch rails for any dogs that I watch, or go outside with them on the leash to make sure they are safe. They are safe and comfortable in the house with lots of spaces to relax and play in, 4 bedrooms total.

“This was by far the best person to watch Harvey for my event on Saturday. Kaylyn, went far above and beyond to make my experience with my pageant a top experience. She is lovely and kind. She was my favorite part of my day. So incredibly grateful for everything. Sending warm hugs ?”
