“Erika did an incredible job taking care of our dog, and two cats. She sent updates regularly, and we could tell our fur babies loved her. Our dog smiled ear to ear in all the pictures, and our usually shy cats immediately took a shine to her. During her stay, our dog had an upset tummy, brought on by the stress of us leaving. She took amazing care of him, and made sure nothing was seriously wrong. Her regular communication made us feel at ease, knowing our dog was in good hands. Erika took care of our home like it was her own. She noticed ants in our upstairs office, and helped us fix the issue by alerting us and placing ant traps. This really stood out to us, because she didn’t need to solve the problem, but did anyway. She also left our home sparkling. She cleaned her bedding and towels, and left the countertops and living space spotless. Honestly, it looks better in here than when we left on vacation. We will definitely book with Erika in the future!”

“MacKenzie was fantastic! We had a family member cancel with short notice for watching out 2 dogs and 3 cats for a week while we were going on vacation. I quickly hopped on Rover to see who was near us, and decided to message MacKenzie based on other reviews that had been left. She was quickly able to come over and meet our gang to make sure it would be a fit. After that initial meeting, my husband and I both felt very comfortable and confident with her coming to stay and take care of things while we were gone. The day we were supposed to leave, we ran into some issues but MacKenzie was flexible and fast to communicate. She was very punctual and sent brief updates/questions throughout the week (she has our preference on communication and we had told her we didn't need regular check ins or updates). When we got home, we could tell our dogs and cats had missed us, but it was also clear that they had been well taken care of. Overall, if and when I may need another house & pet sitter, I wouldn't hesitate to reach back out to MacKenzie and I won't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for help.”

About: My love of dogs started about 5 years ago when I rescued my first dog. Since then, I have acquired a load of knowledge not only in how to care for them, but also how to train them. I can provide mental and physical stimulation for your furry friend and bring most of my own equipment - I can also use the tools your pet is most familiar with. I can assess your pet to determine what your pet may need for stimulation, make suggestions for daily care, and learn at least some of their body language. My dogs and I are always interacting whenever I'm home, but most of our intentional fun/training happens for about 2-3 hours each day outdoors. This includes both training and walking. I also help some of my friends train their dogs whenever our schedules allow. I believe your dog should ALWAYS be in training and you can make almost any situation a training opportunity. Your pets can be treated as my own and/or according to your specific instructions. Do you have multiple dogs that need to be separated? No problem. Can your dogs be together but need to be supervised so tension doesn't continue to build? I got you covered there too! Does your dog pull too much on walks, need to learn how to act in-doors? I can work with your dog on those things as well in addition to other things!

About: I grew up taking care of snakes, fish, rabbits, ferrets, cats, dogs, and numerous rodentia. For dogs in particular, I have raised and trained anything from working-line Belgian Malinois to service Labradors. Pet care is a primary focus, both for my personal dogs and the prospective service dogs I train. Because my training system is flexible and mobile, I am afforded the opportunity and freedom to help take care of your pets as well. Animals in general prefer a degree of consistency and stability to minimize stress caused by even temporary changes in their environment. At minimum, I want to provide that in your absence. But the aim it to have fun, like their own mini vacation in your absence.

About: I'm person that does the work and listen to the animals too. I worked with military working dogs. Have raised my own, I even sucker for the abandon ones too. My life has been learning how to groom, including nails, medicines and how to feed certain dogs due to there digestive track. I can mend, cuddle and play with all type.but snakes sorry I can't do that. My soon to be husband also loves animals such as I do because they also help with mental health. Emotional support and therapy dogs are a real thing and they do help. Just like the little young lady that found last months wonder the roads of Amelia County covered fleas and ticks and no tags or nothing she now how's her forever home . Just ever day thing for more I come home ever 2 to 3 hours to let mine out. DUE to the current job I currently have once this jobs takes off my plan is.to do this full time for all animals. We have fenced in back yard with 3 acrea with it in the middle of the Amelia that has been forgotten about. I retired military and retired law enforcement looking to find something better that what I currently doing. Animals and kids make me happy and they would have a forever ever home with me. Plus my family loves animals too. If the our place did work out the have 100 to play on for the day too. My husband is sucker for all types of animals too.

About: Hello!! I’ve been caring for pets for over 5 years now with multiple different families I care for consistently! I’m also a veterinary assistant at a vet clinic meaning I’m very well versed in pet care. I can provide care for pets that require a bit more attention, medical help (medications, special diets, exercises, etc.) and beyond that I am just extremely passionate in taking care of animals! Im off on tuesdays and work only part time early mornings at a breakfast restaurant! For house sitting I am able to let your dogs out at least three times daily even if i’m working! I’m very flexible and able to prioritize your pet in between working. I unfortunately cannot board dogs at my house because it is not my house!! I still live with my parents and we have many animals that suffer from anxiety so introducing new animals to the environment would stress them out. I’m more than willing to come to you and stay overnights to house/pet sit!!

I can bring toys and if you request my own pup to play she loves new friends I've walked dogs for friends, family and to those who requested it via my sitting and walking ads. About: I've had dogs since I can remember. My fiancé watched dogs in the past with rover and I would always help. Take the dogs to the park on my days off, play outside, and train them when needed. I am currently on veterans disability so I can focus my whole day to your furry friend. No worry about being stuck in all day. I have 5 acres of yard for them to play on. I have lots of space if needed, room for crates, room outside. Plenty of space so your furry friend won't feel trapped. My animals mind their own.
