“Just picked up Red, my mini Aussie (3 yrs old), he is EXHAUSTED!! I couldn't be happier!! It's like living at the dog park for 7 days! Highly recommend Matt and I'll be using his service again this summer.”

Would absolutely recommend!!”

About: I bring several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. My background includes everything from basic daily care (feeding, walking, administering medications) to more specialized tasks like senior pet care and puppy training. I’ve worked with puppies needing consistency and gentle guidance for house-training and basic commands, as well as senior pets requiring patience, mobility assistance, and medical routines. I'm confident handling pets with anxiety, behavioral quirks, or specific dietary restrictions, and I always prioritize a calm, safe, and nurturing environment. Additionally, I have experience giving oral and topical medications, cleaning wounds, and monitoring for changes in behavior that may indicate health issues. I'm also trained in pet CPR and first aid, so your pet's safety is always a top priority. My goal is to build trust—with both you and your pet—so you can feel at ease knowing your companion is in experienced, loving hands. I am available Monday-Friday start at 10:00AM and all day Saturday and Sunday. There may be an occasion in which a dog has to be crated for a short time. If your dog is not crate trained please let me know so that I may accommodate that. When pets stay in my home, I make it a safe, comfortable, and low-stress environment tailored to their needs. I maintain a clean, pet-friendly space in my fenced in back yard where they have room to relax, play, and feel at ease. I follow each pet’s routine closely—this includes feeding schedules, potty breaks, medication if needed, and lots of love and attention. I gradually introduce them to the space so they feel comfortable, and I supervise interactions if there are other pets around to ensure everyone gets along safely. I also provide cozy sleeping areas, plenty of fresh water, and enrichment activities like playtime, puzzle toys, or calm cuddle sessions, depending on the pet’s personality. ***Please be aware that I do have a 40 pound male (neutered) Aussie named Pippin. Pippin loves people and other dogs but is still a puppy prone to getting very excited when meeting new people and may bark Additionally, I have four cats in my home so your dog MUST GET ALONG WITH CATS. No aggression towards cats will be tolerated.

“From taking notes at the meet & greet with loads of great questions, to having a really careful approach to introducing her own little dog to the river guests, I felt really confident that Finn would get great care! Definitely will book again.”

About: I have had and cared for dogs for my entire life. Our dogs are family and are loved on constantly. Even when I didn't have a dog of my own, I cared for friend's pets or my parent's dogs- long or short term. My goal is to make sure your pet has the utmost care while you are away. I have a very flexible work schedule and often work from home. When I can't work from home, I am not away for longer than 8 hours. Usually if I know that it will even be close to that long, I take my pets with me. I have two small dogs who are both crate trained but really rule the roost. They have free reign of the house, the furniture and the bed. When I watch other dogs, they have free reign of the main rooms of the house but are excluded from my bedroom. I accommodate your pet's meal and walk schedule as needed. When they are here, they are family too. My littlest Yorkie has small dog syndrome and will likely prefer to stay in my room when your pet is here, and he is more than ok with that- he is not dangerous to other dogs, he just prefers his own company ( I swear he is part cat).

“Christina is wonderful and took excellent care of our dog, Dolly! We enjoyed the texted photos and videos of Dolly while we were on our trip and we were able to relax and enjoy our trip knowing our dog was well cared for!”

Her dogs are very sweet and made for great playmates. She followed all dietary restrictions and medications we provided; Buu came home very happy and healthy! Would definitely recommend her services!”

“Grace is a phenomenal pet caregiver and I can’t recommend her enough. I’ve known Grace for 15 years and she has a natural connection with all pets and treats every animal with patience, love, and attentiveness. Whether it’s going on long walks, managing feeding routines, or providing companionship while pet parents are away, she consistently shows up with kindness, adaptability, and reliability. Beyond being great with pets, Grace is also dependable, respectful, and detail-oriented. I’ve trusted Grace many times to care for my own pets and home (sometimes up to two weeks) and during that time, she’s communicative, shares pictures/updates of my pets, and maintains safety and cleanliness of my home. In short, Grace brings a rare mix of compassion, responsibility, and customer-focused service to all aspects of pet caregiving. I am confident she would thrive as a member of the Rover team.”

Amity dog parents share their Rover experiences
Awesome dog sitter. It was my first time having John as my dog sitter. You can tell he has the experience, is well-equipped, and is passionate about animals. The place is huge and fenced. Plenty of room for dogs to run and play together. My dog has an eye condition and hot spots due to allergies. He kept an eye on my dog and provided updates to me about his condition while I was away. He had a blast at the sitter. After picking up my dog. He was so tired and rested for two days after coming back from the sitter. I would have John as my sitter again.
