“Our 3 dogs - 3yr old Lab, 12yr old Cairn Terrier x, and 15yr old Terrier x came back after I was gone for 12 days Healthy, Happy, Clean and Adjusted. Rachel is sweet, caring, educated and responsible with everything I had asked of her, especially the feeding routines that were different for each dog. She even made special feeding adjustments for my Cairn terrier who is very attached to me and will go on a “starvation diet” when feeling displaced from myself or our home, allowing her to eat on the couch where she felt most comfortable to do that. I would not expect that level of accommodation but was so happy to see her commitment for each pet to not miss any meals. Rachel sent pictures every day with them doing various things inside and outside the house which I enjoyed, and did a check in with me to see if I wanted daily photos or not. Of course I did! I also asked Rachel if she could pay special attention to my under weight 15yr old who is already older and frail, and will eat less when I’m gone as well. My 15yr old is partially blind and hard of hearing - she came back having put on a little weight, not coming back skinnier, which spoke volumes to how comfortable my senior dog with special needs was! I was so happy to see she had gained a pound or two which she needed! On the other hand, my 3yr old lab was at a perfect weight when I brought him, and gave strict instructions for the amount of food he gets as to NOT gain weight - as labs can do so quickly. He can back EXACTLY how I left him. I am VERY pleased with the care my pups received from Rachel and I highly recommend! -Trina”

About: I’ve had two dogs that I raised from their puppy to senior years so I have experience with dogs in any age. I have experience giving medication and know some doggies love having a routine that I can help maintain to keep them happy and comfortable! I’m currently job hunting so I have plenty of time to watch and help care for your doggies while also giving them daily walks! “My husband and I met Alisha in October for a meet and greet with Milo, our mixed yellow lab and golden retriever. The meeting was for an upcoming trip during the Christmas holidays. We instantly liked her, she was on time when she came, she was professional, she bonded right away with Milo. Soon after I booked a three day walk in November just to reconnect again with her. It was for a 30 minute walk and again she was on time and I love the fact that I get a text and a pic of the walk. Tomorrow will be the start of a 13 day house sitting and we feel confident about the whole thing knowing that Milo will not be neglected. We’re glad we came across her at Rover. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. Much more familiar with big working dogs with high drive like huskies, German shepherds, and cattle dogs. But I love taking care of them all! I work full time at home! My job is flexible and allows for play time, potty breaks and lunch time walks! I have a large fenced backyard where your pup is free to play, explore and potty! I have two additional fur babies who will keep your pup company! Your pup will likely spend most of the day with me inside, in my office. I give my pups space to roam the house if they want, but they generally sleep on the couch behind me. I am also able to crate your pup if that's what they're used to or comfortable with. I am flexible to your needs!

(Emily + Montana + Athena) I was a paramedic for 10 years, and can handle almost any emergency thrown at me. I am a stay at home mom right now, working on a small business. About: I have had dogs since I was extremely little! Taking care of them has always been something I loved to do, through that love that grew I found a job at a dog daycare and worked there for a while until I moved and I absolutely loved it. It gave me a lot of hands on experience with hundreds of different dogs, big and small, easy and hard. No dog is too challenging with the right kind of love and attention! About: i’ve had animals of all kinds of entire life and i couldn’t love it more. About: I've owned dogs since I was 8. Almost 20 years. I've done all my own training. I've trained puppies, administered shots and medication to senior dogs and cats, and everything between. I also have knowledge with rodents, cats, horses and other farm animals. I work 3 12 hour shifts Friday through Sunday. I get home around 6:30 those days but drive in the Yamhill/McMinnville area so stopping in for a quick walk or dinner wouldn't be a problem at all. My schedule Monday through Thursday is completely wide open for walking, drop ins, or pet sitting, however I will not be able to pet sit Thursday night through Sunday. I have 5 dogs who are get along very well with other dogs once properly introduced. They range from 25 to 65 pounds, most of them are very active. I have extra kennels but I also have a designated dog room with a comfy couch that two of my five sleep on at night. I live on quarter of an acre with a fully fenced in yard.

“Our 3 dogs - 3yr old Lab, 12yr old Cairn Terrier x, and 15yr old Terrier x came back after I was gone for 12 days Healthy, Happy, Clean and Adjusted. Rachel is sweet, caring, educated and responsible with everything I had asked of her, especially the feeding routines that were different for each dog. She even made special feeding adjustments for my Cairn terrier who is very attached to me and will go on a “starvation diet” when feeling displaced from myself or our home, allowing her to eat on the couch where she felt most comfortable to do that. I would not expect that level of accommodation but was so happy to see her commitment for each pet to not miss any meals. Rachel sent pictures every day with them doing various things inside and outside the house which I enjoyed, and did a check in with me to see if I wanted daily photos or not. Of course I did! I also asked Rachel if she could pay special attention to my under weight 15yr old who is already older and frail, and will eat less when I’m gone as well. My 15yr old is partially blind and hard of hearing - she came back having put on a little weight, not coming back skinnier, which spoke volumes to how comfortable my senior dog with special needs was! I was so happy to see she had gained a pound or two which she needed! On the other hand, my 3yr old lab was at a perfect weight when I brought him, and gave strict instructions for the amount of food he gets as to NOT gain weight - as labs can do so quickly. He can back EXACTLY how I left him. I am VERY pleased with the care my pups received from Rachel and I highly recommend! -Trina”
