About: When caring for your dog, I'll treat him/her like my own! Growing up, we always had family dogs and now I have one of my own. I know that they are your furry family member and the care they receive needs to be special. I understand that some dogs require more attention while others are more independent. From hanging out in the house to playing in the park, I'm happy to keep your furry family company while you're away or take them for a walk when you're unable to. Catering to your dogs' specific needs is very important to me and I'm willing to follow specific instructions. From small breeds to large, I love them all. I can't wait to meet you & your dog soon!
About: Many of my family members have had dogs as I grew up. My grandparents had 3 dogs as I spent most of my childhood with them. I saw them struggle with their dogs. I now have a black lab that lives with them. I got him in 2016 and he was pure skin and bones. Zerk, my black lab was suffering from a massive tapeworm. I was in a bad place in life when I met that dog. We saved eachother and he taught me more about life than I could teach him. I went to the army for three years and he stayed with my grandparents growing an affection on them. He is now known as the family pet as I couldnt find it in my heart to take him back. I walked my dog every day learning proper leash control and tried many different techniques explained to me. I trained him to retrieve birds during hunts and not to tangle decoys. I purchased home videos for training and passed that knowledge on with my dog to my grandparents. Their ability to care for my dog has been a big different to how they cared for their dogs in the past. I can take him out hunting while he provides love and peace at home for my family. Pet care will not have a negative impact on my schedule. I am currently not working so I will be available every day all week long. I have a vehicle for traveling and can happily take your companion anywhere they may like to go. I have a roomy house where dogs can play. I don't have a fenced in yard, but im comfortable walking with your pal to ensure their safety. Right now I don't have the full capability of overnight stays in my home. I plan to in the future, but i will stay overnight in your own home to ensure your companion gets the shelter they deserve. I can take your dog out to the park, help them unwind, or just go for a walk. I will always respect a person's wishes and the way you want your dog to be taken care of. In my home I feed my dog on a set schedule based off his weight and the amount of exercise he gets. Normally during training he consumes more treats but also works his mind and body more.
