About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember and have been dog sitting for friends and family for most of it. I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s individual personality (and all their weird little quirks!). I also have quite a bit of hands-on experience beyond my own pets. From 2013–2015, I worked at the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS), where I helped provide formal dog training classes and gained experience with dog behavior and positive training techniques. Over the past five years, I’ve also fostered dogs through New River Animal Rescue — everything from puppies to sweet seniors and dogs with very different personalities and needs. I currently have a 6-year-old rescue mutt of my own, and I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, reinforcing training and routines, or giving a more timid pup some extra patience. Mostly, I just want every dog I care for to feel safe, loved, and at home while their person is away. ❤️ I work from home, so pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine and I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, potty breaks and company throughout the day. I work from home, which means dogs in my care get plenty of supervision, attention and outdoor breaks throughout the day. I’m also happy to follow whatever routines, feeding schedules, crate routines or house rules your dog is used to. When caring for pets in their own home, I try to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.
About: I have a Yorkie of my own who I have had since I was 16. Over the years, I have often been asked by friends/family to visit their home every so often to let their pets out/feed them while they are unable to do so. I know how hard it is to find care for furbabies so I am eager to help anyone I can! I love adventuring (just look at the picture of my lil man on Long Point Trail lol!) so if your babies like walks, walk we shall :) I am a nurse in Beckley. I work 3 12 hour shifts a week. On the days I am not working, I am able to feed, water, walk, hang out with your pets! Just let me know how long you would like me to spend time with them and we will work something out! :) I can sit with your dog for 30 minutes to an hour at your home (if just a check in… can be there longer, if needed), walk them, feed them, etc. Whatever you need/do for your pet, I will do!

About: I have cared for cats and dogs periodically my whole life. I work as a nurse professionally and specialize with seniors. I care for organisms of every kind! I also have experience volunteering at the animal shelter. I am currently unemployed and have a flexible schedule. I have a dog of my own and I find it easy to balance my work life with my personal life. I am able to stay at any clients home that lives reasonably close to Boulder, CO. I am unable to take pets into my house at this time.
About: I love animals. All animals. I’ve had pets since I was a baby. I have 3 dogs and a Persian cat. I’ve always wanted to work with pets and this seems great. I will love and care for your pet like they were my own and you will never have to worry about them. I know your pets are your family and I will care for and love them. They will be at home in my home. You can work and enjoy your day or vacation without having to worry about your pets. I can watch your pets almost any time. I’m home almost all the time. If there is an appointment or anything that has to be done I will let you know ahead of time. I live in a rural area. Surrounded by the woods and not near a road. Only have 1 neighbor that is close and it’s family. Plenty of room to run and play.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
