“Taylor was amazing! Yesterday was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about my pup being home alone... Taylor called me at work (per my request) so that I could go over how to get into my house, etc. and she calmed my nerves too :) when she got there, he had tore up his mattress pad in his kennel- she cleaned it up so that he couldn’t eat it. She then walked him, took pictures for me and played with him enough to tire him out for a bit. She was so good with him anc it was so appreciated! ❤️❤️”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud rescue dog parent with over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I know firsthand how tough it can be to find affordable, trustworthy help—especially when juggling a busy schedule. That’s what inspired me to become a Rover sitter: to offer dependable, compassionate care for your pets when you need it most. My two pups (a spunky senior Jack Russell/Heeler mix and a mid-aged Husky/Heeler) keep me active and on my toes, and I frequently care for my sister-in-law's dogs as well. I’m experienced with dogs who need a little extra TLC, including those on special diets, daily medications, or unique routines. Whether you need someone to drop in for a quick potty break or want your dog to feel at home while you're away, I treat every pet like family—with patience, attention, and love. I'm flexible! I currently work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule during the days. I work about ~10-15 hours a week and don't have a set 9-5 type schedule. I can do my work whenever, wherever! I have a fenced in yard and two dogs at home. I treat my dogs like they are my BABIES - they get a ton of attention, pets, belly rubs, walks, and kisses. We do a lot of walks in our neighborhood and like to bring our pets on adventures.

About: My daughter and I are dog sitting for two reasons -- we flat out love dogs and my daughter is saving for college. While supporting my daughter's entrepreneurial spirit your dog will get a vacation of a lifetime. Without getting too deep into my resume, here are some highlights: -Handled five police dogs. 1000's of deployments. -Master Trainer for the International Police Work Dog Association. -Developed and taught a unique dog safety program. Have presented the hands on program from everyone to 1000's of second graders to regional UPS drivers. -Recognized expert witness in court on dog tracking, aggression, training, and deployment. -Over 75 nationally published articles on dog obedience, housing, behavior, training, etc. -Tested, certified, and trained working dogs from nearly all 50 states and several countries. (This year I've had dog teams travel to my home from Montana, Florida, Iowa, etc for assistance). I do all this because I simply love interacting with dogs. The love has spread to my 13 year old daughter. I currently have a very fun, young, and goofy dog -- a Vizsla named "Ranger." He clearly isn't a working dog and isn't a picture of obedience perfection. (I only mention this to let you know that despite my resume your dog doesn't have to be perfect and is coming into a very fun and loving household!) We've truly been a dog centered household for 20 years. My wife is a literal Saint! My private dog training rates, and I've turned down much more work than I've accepted, runs 10x the Rover.com rate we are charging. About: I have had pets my entire life. I knew very young that I wanted to work with animals. I have a great love and compassion for them. I will take great care of your babies! I have a lot of experience caring and working with dogs. I have hobby farm experience (dogs, cats, chickens and a horse) as well. I am a Licensed Veterinary Nurse, therefore, I am educated in many aspects of caring for your pet. I know what to look for in case of illness, injury, etc. I can also do some other tasks, like toe nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. I am a dependable, trustworthy person who knows how important your pets are to you. About: I absolutely love animals and I have enough energy to keep up with them too! I have experience in veterinary background which ensures I am trained to catch any early health issues. I can give medication on a schedule or keep up with special needs as well :) I work as a Muskegon county park ranger in the mornings and afternoons except Mondays and Tuesdays. I am very comfortable with commuting as I live in Ludgington. I can be as flexible as you need, whether it be boarding, house sitting, or dropping in for a playdate before or after work! I have a fully fenced in back yard with lots of room to play both my cat and my dog get along well with other animals! Both are fully up to date on all vaccines and neutered! I also have a room set aside for my cat that is dog free which could be shared with other cats. I am comfortable with crating for longer stays and my dog is crate trained as well!

About: I’ve grown up with animals and have always done pet care on the side since high school. Im passionate about getting animals outside and moving! Im currently working a full time job Monday-Friday from 8-4. After work and every weekend I am free to provide care and fun for your pets! We have a large amount of land for your dog to play on! About: I grew up with labs my whole life so I’m very use to large dogs! The endless shedding doesn’t scare me away! I truly love all dog breeds though and I’m willing to open up to even the moody ones! I work full time 8:30-5:00 but I do have an hour lunch that I can make work for potty breaks and short walks! I can also stop by before and after work and I’m willing to stay during night weeknights too on occasion. I have a fiancé and two kids so I prefer to be home during week nights but with a notice in advance I can make it work. I am a bit OCD with my own pet care. My cat has an enclosure for his litter box with foam flooring for underneath the enclosure. I keep a broom, a shop vac and a swifter all just for his area. He has special prescription food and I keep his diet on a schedule. He gets lots of love daily and I plan provide the same care for your pets!

About: I’ve owned dogs since I was a kid as I come from a big dog loving family! Starting with my personal and family experience: I have 2 dogs of my own: Pretzel who’s a Lab/Beagle mix and Wallace who is Lab/Heeler/Terrier mix! I have plenty of experience watching my sisters dogs, my best friends dogs, and my parents dogs. In college, I had a part-time job dropping in on a dog whose owner worked in the medical field and would have long shifts. I would go play with her, take her out to go potty and just spend time with her so she wasn’t alone for long periods of time! Aside from pet sitting for family and friends regularly, I don’t have a lot of experience outside of that; but it has always been a dream of mine to get a business like this running so I can spend my time doing what I love most, being around and caring for dogs! I feel comfortable with all breeds and sizes! Just some of the breeds I have interacted with are Dachshund, Beagle/Dachshund mix, Lab/Beagle mix, Rottweiler, Catahoula Leopard, Anatolian Shepherd, Goldendoodle, Lab/Doberman mix, and Pomskey. I am really excited about this new adventure and I hope you will pick me as your sitter! Currently I work on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays, so I have plenty of time in between to spend with other pups! I hope at some point I could have this replace my current job! Unfortunately, my dogs aren’t the most friendly with others so I cannot offer services in my home. However, there is potential for me to have pets outside in my fenced in area for some outdoor playtime! Depending on my availability I am okay with overnights at your house if you are on vacation! There are no cats or dogs here (unless confirmed that its okay to board at the same time as another families pet) so you won't have to worry about your pet getting along with anyone else while they are here. About: Hound Town Dog Sitting (owned by Kelly!) is a registered LLC in MI. We are insured, we are equipped for pet first aid, and we are recommended by two of West Michigan's best dog trainers: Captivated Canine & Kaitlyn's Dog Training! We have a large fenced back yard as well as over 1.5 acres of unfenced yard for walks and sniffing activities. We have three of our own dogs: Amos, a 7yr old beagle-basset hound mix (neutered), Elsie a 4 year old Beagle (spayed), and Zuzu a 2 year old Chiweenie (spayed), as well as aa super friendly orange and white tomcat named Rupert and a whole flock of noisy chickens! We will make sure your doggos have lots of love and attention, regular walks, playtime, attention, and of course owner-approved toys and treats! Kelly (Hound Town Dog Sitting's owner) works for herself as a wedding photographer and videographer. She makes her own schedule and can be flexible when needed! In our own home we have both a large fenced yard as well as .5+ acres of unfenced yard for leashed walks. When we go to your home, we wear a name tag so we are easily identifiable, and we can provide references and a background check through Rover. We also will happily send regular photos and/or videos to owners for updates!

About: I adore dogs and exercise. I will take dogs out on long and enjoyable walks and give them another reason to love life!! I’ll give so much attention and exercise care to your dogs! I am working a full time job from home. I am free to walk dogs in the evenings after work, weekends, and maybe walks on my lunch breaks during the middle of the day. I have a small little 2 year old dog at home that has taught me the love and attention necessary to raise a happy dog and how to show them lots of love. I have had many dogs as I grew up as well so I know how to take care of a dog that I didn’t have a direct hand in training. I love all dogs and want them to non stop tail wag their way through life.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life and helped take care of them in every way you can think of. I also adopted my own puppy who was abused by his previous owner. I raised him from 4 months and have learned how to deal with fear aggression towards strangers and other animals as well as major separation anxiety. I also love with and care for two wonderful cats! I’m excited to take care of your animals just as if they were my own! I have a very flexible schedule and am able to work on my own hours. With that being said, I typically can work with your time if I am not already booked! I will do whatever is asked of you to take care of your pet/s. I know how hard it is to trust someone else with your beloved pets, but I can assure you that I will water, feed, walk, play with, etc. to make sure your loved one is well cared for.

About: I am an Animal Behavior College graduate where I studied canine behavior and training. I have lots of experience with both working and training through difficult dog behaviors and dogs with high anxiety and fear towards different things. I have had pets my whole life and would love to meet yours! I have tons of experience with administering medications, nail trims, bathing, and daily grooming and would be happy to help provide those for your pets. I have worked at the Humane Society Of West Michigan and have volunteered at the Kent County Animal shelter where I absolutely loved working with every kind of dog or cat you could think of! I have a very flexible schedule seeing as I make my own work schedule. When I am watching your animals I never leave them for longer than 2-4 hours unless I have an event that we have previously discussed and gone over. I have a boxer and a pitty at home! At my home I have a fenced in yard for my dogs and anytime they are outside of the fence I also make sure they are long leash and would do the same for your pups! I never leave an animal unattended while outside just in case something were to happen. I also do not leave them unattended with a toy that they could possibly swallow or ingest and cause choking. I’m all eyes, ears and cuddles when it comes to both my pets and yours!
