About: I have five years of professional dog care in many different spheres. I have previously managed two different kennels, groomed many dogs around Richmond, and am K9-CPR certified. I have experience training puppies, adults, and seniors basic obedience, leash manners, and beginner agility. I am well versed in administering medications. Prior to working with dogs as a career, I have experience caring for many dogs over my life, from family pets to petsitting in the neighborhood. I am happy to provide enrichment activities for your animal as well, such as bubble play, doga (dog yoga), or drives to hiking locations. I am committed to being completely available for any of your pet needs! My main focus is comfortable care for your critter, no matter how early or late that may be. I feel that years of experience in caring for animals who are being boarded, hanging out at daycare, or getting a stylish spa day have taught me so much in how to interact and build trust with many animals no matter the situation. “Rachel was amazing! She helped with our dogs while we were gone for the weekend, and both dogs (and our cat) loved her and were so excited to see her. She stayed in communication with us the entire weekend and sent great pictures with updates. She followed all the instructions we left. Both dogs have terrible separation anxiety, but they didn’t seem to miss a beat while we were gone. Would definitely recommend!”

About: Hi, I'm Rebecca! I'm available to do walks, drop ins, or sitting. While I'm fun and relaxed in personality, I take responsibilities towards pets seriously. I care for them as I'd want mine cared for, with the general attitude that they're all someone's baby. I value clear communication on both ends, any helpful instructions from you, and knowing how you like things done. Every pet is different, and your personal requirements and preferences are important. More about me: I've lived with pets my whole life, and started helping with their care as soon as I was old enough. Dogs and cats were my first animals, and I've always loved having a dog for company while enjoying the outdoors and beautiful weather. I've walked and sat for dogs of friends and neighbors, and it's always been an enjoyable experience. I do have some experience with senior dogs, dogs who need medication, and I'm comfortable giving oral or topical meds. Taking care of puppies is also something I enjoy. I just ask for any special needs or training instructions to be clear and detailed so I can give the best care possible. Fun Fact: I actually completed a veterinary assistant certification course in Maryland many years ago. I never ended up with employment relevant to that, but the experience was worth it. The educational clinic hours were great for becoming more comfortable handling different breeds and sizes. I've been helping care for a family member at home, along with our two cats, our older dog, and my three birds. I love getting outside, and have plenty of time to enjoy a walk, or spend time with, a new animal companion. I care for pets according to the client's instructions and preferences. I'm able to care for pets in their own home, yard, and for walks.

About: I've taken care of dogs for years, and I'm absolutely ecstatic to meet you and your furry friend! I started out by accompanying my mom on her Rover assignments while in school. We also welcomed Trixie to the family, a 3-year-old mini petite Goldendoodle with a taste for blueberries. Now that I've moved cities, I'm interested in helping others with their furry loved ones. I'm a remote worker, so my flexibility is unmatched. I also enjoy outdoor and active activities, especially when the weather's nice. Thanks for your consideration!
