“Erika is phenomenal. We had some crazy things happen to our travel plans and she was so flexible and communicative. She left the house in better shape than when she got here and took incredible care of our pets. We will 1000% be rebooking with her.”

About: I have five years of professional dog care in many different spheres. I have previously managed two different kennels, groomed many dogs around Richmond, and am K9-CPR certified. I have experience training puppies, adults, and seniors basic obedience, leash manners, and beginner agility. I am well versed in administering medications. Prior to working with dogs as a career, I have experience caring for many dogs over my life, from family pets to petsitting in the neighborhood. I am happy to provide enrichment activities for your animal as well, such as bubble play, doga (dog yoga), or drives to hiking locations. I am committed to being completely available for any of your pet needs! My main focus is comfortable care for your critter, no matter how early or late that may be. I feel that years of experience in caring for animals who are being boarded, hanging out at daycare, or getting a stylish spa day have taught me so much in how to interact and build trust with many animals no matter the situation. I believe a combination of patience, kindness, intuition, and some snackos can really foster a safe, positive environment for everybody.

“Rachel was amazing! She helped with our dogs while we were gone for the weekend, and both dogs (and our cat) loved her and were so excited to see her. She stayed in communication with us the entire weekend and sent great pictures with updates. She followed all the instructions we left. Both dogs have terrible separation anxiety, but they didn’t seem to miss a beat while we were gone. Would definitely recommend!”

“Helena was everything we hoped for in a dog and house sitter. I appreciate so much all of the photos, the detailed updates on their time together, and how proactive Helena was with communicating. We cannot wait to be her repeat clients. If you want someone that you can trust that your dog will quickly be obsessed with, look no further. Seriously, thank you so much, Helena!”

“Wesley was amazing. Kept in contact with us. Took amazing care of our pups. Let us know if any issues. She even got my little old pup to cuddle and that is rare. He really doesn’t like many people! She was amazing and we plan to use her again and again!!”

“Kim is very quick to respond to visit requests. She is truthful about how visits are going, and she follows up if there are any problems, along with showing all of the positives - and lots of photos!”

“Kara was a great sitter for our cat Mateo. She took great care of him. Played with him and snuggled with him, sent us daily photo updates, and we came back to a nice clean house. Thank you Kara!”

“Mark is extremely caring. He put our minds at ease with many updates along with pictures. Mark went above and beyond. We came home to a very relaxed and happy Cody. Thank you so much Mark! Ann and Kel”

“Amanda was incredible and sent detailed updates with photos and videos of Remi which made me feel comfortable he was in great hands while I was out of town. I will definitely use her again!”

“Riley took excellent care of my 3 senior dogs, all 3 on meds, including 1 that is diabetic and needed blood glucose monitoring and insulin shots. I was thrilled to find someone with experience with diabetes. Thanks Riley!”

“Audrey was a fantastic sitter and spent time with our pup after he had surgery. She was on time, super friendly and took great care of our dog. Will definitely plan to have her come sit again!”

“Michelle did a great job with our geriatric cats. Medications were properly administered and the cats quickly warmed up to her. She also kept us informed with texts and pictures and dealt with some unscheduled package deliveries.”

About: Hi, I'm Rebecca! I'm available to do walks, drop ins, or sitting. While I'm fun and relaxed in personality, I take responsibilities towards pets seriously. I care for them as I'd want mine cared for, with the general attitude that they're all someone's baby. I value clear communication on both ends, any helpful instructions from you, and knowing how you like things done. Every pet is different, and your personal requirements and preferences are important. More about me: I've lived with pets my whole life, and started helping with their care as soon as I was old enough. Dogs and cats were my first animals, and I've always loved having a dog for company while enjoying the outdoors and beautiful weather. I've walked and sat for dogs of friends and neighbors, and it's always been an enjoyable experience. I do have some experience with senior dogs, dogs who need medication, and I'm comfortable giving oral or topical meds. Taking care of puppies is also something I enjoy. I just ask for any special needs or training instructions to be clear and detailed so I can give the best care possible. Fun Fact: I actually completed a veterinary assistant certification course in Maryland many years ago. I never ended up with employment relevant to that, but the experience was worth it. The educational clinic hours were great for becoming more comfortable handling different breeds and sizes. I've been helping care for a family member at home, along with our two cats, our older dog, and my three birds. I love getting outside, and have plenty of time to enjoy a walk, or spend time with, a new animal companion. I care for pets according to the client's instructions and preferences. I'm able to care for pets in their own home, yard, and for walks.

About: I've taken care of dogs for years, and I'm absolutely ecstatic to meet you and your furry friend! I started out by accompanying my mom on her Rover assignments while in school. We also welcomed Trixie to the family, a 3-year-old mini petite Goldendoodle with a taste for blueberries. Now that I've moved cities, I'm interested in helping others with their furry loved ones. I'm a remote worker, so my flexibility is unmatched. I also enjoy outdoor and active activities, especially when the weather's nice. Thanks for your consideration! I'm a full-time employee for a remote-based, nonprofit news organization, and I'm based in Richmond, VA. I work an early shift (7am-3pm EST), but I have flexibility all day long. Pets under my care have access to a furry-tastic care kit, which includes a water bottle and bowl, snacks, toys, peanut butter and more. Please reach out with any other meeds - I'll be happy to grab them!

About: I treat every pet like my own with love, patience, and attention to their unique needs. I’m comfortable with sticking to specific routines, and providing calming companionship for anxious pets. Whether it’s a playful walk or a quiet cuddle session, I tailor my care to each animal’s personality and needs. Your pet’s happiness and safety are always my top priorities! Pet care is a natural and joyful part of my daily life. I build my schedule around giving pets the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday playtime, or evening check-ins, I make sure each pet’s routine stays consistent. I’m flexible and reliable, which means I’m able to accommodate a variety of needs like last minute bookings, regular visits, or overnight stays. I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether they’re in my home or theirs. In a client’s home, I follow all provided routines closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, medications, and play preferences. I keep the space clean, secure, and calm so your pet can relax in their familiar environment.

“Heidi was absolutely fantastic! Our two pups loved her. Our older dog usually struggles when we’re out of town but with Heidi, our dog did so well! We’ll definitely try to book with Heidi again in the future.”

“Janie went above and beyond! She watched my two high maintenance Frenchies and kept them happy. She was great with communication and updates. She also came by for a meet and greet before our vacation. I hesitate selfishly to highly recommend her in the case she gets so booked and might not be available when we need her next time!! She is the best. She gave our older dog medication daily and was also mindful of the heat when taking the dogs out and spent lots of time making sure they got snuggled and didn't miss us too badly. The house was also kept very clean ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 !!”

“Elizabeth was great with my timid pup Rylee. It takes a little for her to warm up to new people but Elizabeth gave her time and space to do it. Great with communication and sending pics. I knew it was 100% good when I got one of Rylee chillin' on the couch belly up.”
