“Cathy was a great house sitter who looked after our two cats while we were traveling. She communicated really well, drove down to meet the cats before confirming the booking, and showed up on time before us leaving to get access to the building. She also did a wonderful job communicating during our travel/ her stay with the cats. She took care of the cats’ medications needs, too! What I loved most about her is how prompt she is about responding to any messages. She kept us updated with pictures and lots of other information. She has been kind to the cats and tolerated them sleeping in/ on her suitcase, ha ha. We found the cats happy and healthy. She also took care of our place, it looks great- just as we left it. She also washed the sheets and towels and overall left the place exactly as she found if not better☺️ She is a kind person, and very personable. About: We are in a senior community that only allows up to medium dogs. We have had dogs for over 20 years but currently don't have a dog of our own and love to have dog guests. We would love to have sleepovers to get our fix of licks and wags! Your fur baby would have run of our house (furniture included) and will be walked multiple times a day. I work Monday through Friday, but my husband is home all day. Other than occasional trips to the store or out to eat, our fur guests are not left home alone. We only take one family at a time, up to two dogs. We would love to be grandparents to your fur children! My husband is home all day and loves having a dog companion to share his day. Walks around the neighborhood and watching TV are a typical day. All dogs in the community must be leashed and everyone is courteous. If your dog would is shy or anxious, we can walk in our backyard. If outgoing, we can visit the neighbors.

About: Taking care of fur babies has been a passion of mine since a very young age. I used to pretend to be the neighborhood dog trainer at the age of like 7! I’m no dog trainer, but I’m definitely able to love and care for your fur babies like they deserve. I work a full time job, however the hours are pretty flexible. I’m typically off Fridays and Saturday's, so I’m available anytime. Sunday-Thursday it varies but I’m typically available in the morning to 4pm :) I have 3 cats and 1 dog who I love very far much. I’m a great communicator and will keep in contact and provide pictures through out the experience. If your pet is happy, then I am too!

About: Hi everyone! I have grown up with both cats and dogs my entire life. In fact, at my childhood home, we had seven cats at one time- even though my dad is allergic! Since moving to Winter Haven, I have missed having a furry friend around and well, that’s why I am on Rover! I currently work full time but not a traditional 9-5 because I am a pilot- which means I am only not home when I am flying! If I am unable to fulfill a request because of my travel schedule, I will be sure to let you know I am unavailable. At my home, I do not have a fenced in yard but it is a quiet neighborhood away from busy roads. My roommates currently have one dog and one cat but if your pet doesn’t get along with other animals, I can keep them separate. Just let me know!

About: I have cared for many pets my whole life! I’ve taken in feral litters of cats and helped raise them until they were able to be adopted, I have cats, and help with the care of 4 dogs of varying sizes. I have had cats and all types of dogs growing up! I love making sure furry family feels loved, and gets taken care of. I am just starting out, however Rover is my full time job. I use this platform so I can still care for my little brother on the weekends. Some people have help with Rover, but I am working solo so please be patient with me. I have a fenced in portion of the yard just for our dogs to run around as they please, they have set meal times and have constant access to love and snuggles! My cats also get all the love and playtime they want.

About: Besides having owned pets, I have worked with 2 shelters to foster long stay animals. I also enjoy watching McCann and Zak George dog training videos. My friends often ask me to care for their feline and canine babies while they are on vacation. I have experienced the peace of mind of leaving my pets with a great caregiver, and so I appreciate how important it is to provide you with this confidence. During the week, I am primarily available in the evenings between 5-8 pm. On weekends, early morning between 6-9 am, mid to late afternoons and evenings between 1-3 pm, and 7-8 pm are good times. First of all, I'll ask about your pet care rountine and preferences. This way I can stick to your pets typical routine as much as possible. Then I will feed and exercse according to your stipulations. Of course, I will engage your pet with play, belly rubs and ear stratches according to their liking.

About: I have had a boxer and a bullmastiff, but I have experience working with yellow labs, golden retrievers, as well smaller dogs. I also had a cat that I cared for and help take care of my roommates cat when I am away at school. In high school I took a course that taught me how to properly care for and handle chinchillas, rats, gerbils, ferrets, rabbits, and other small pets. I have watched my sister’s, cousin’s, and aunt’s dogs on several occasions and would be happy to work on different tricks and skills with puppies and kittens. My top priority will be making sure your pet is safe and entertained! I am a substitute teacher and am going to have a lot of extra time on my hands when school gets out at the end of May. I don’t have a pet myself and would love to help make pet care easier for people who need it! I love spending time with animals and will happily play fetch or tug of war for as long as your dog is would like, or any game your pet loves.
