About: I’ve pet sat for a few families for many years. I grew up around dogs, had cats of my own, and now have 2 precious dogs who are my world. I currently work a full time job, typically done around 4pm. I am looking to get more experience with pet sitting and make some extra income. I will treat your animals like they’re my own, with nothing but love and compassion. They’re a small part of our life but we’re they’re whole life so they should be treated like family

About: I’ve been around both dogs and cats my entire life , personally owned both for 5 years now. Back in CO I house sat and watched dogs frequently and loved it , now I work at a Canine daycare and Training facility in Plattsburgh Tuesday-Friday. Brings me joy everyday to help people take care of their fur babies ❤️ I work Tuesday through Thursday throughout the day but have a lengthy lunch break that I can leave and assist others with their pets , Friday I have a half day so Im available all afternoon. Saturday- Monday I’m available for overnight boarding and checkins ( walks , feeding , etc ) . Let me care for your fur baby while you’re away ! I have a large yard with one well behaved girl dog and two cats, I can provide a run line if wanted or just frequent leashed walks if that’s preferred . There are plenty of toys and outdoor shade , as well as a baby pool for cooling off in summer . I have a XXL crate so I can crate your animals if wanted/necessary , and a “Pet room” where they can sleep on the bed or chair as they desire.

About: Hi there! Sarah, 32 years old, and obsessed with animals. I am a New York native who spent 6 yrs in Colorado and recently moved back. I have been dog-sitting and house sitting for over 10 years-but am new to Rover after just moving back to New York. I have had pets(cats and dogs) my entire life and currently have one lil lady cat Emme. My family has always rescued dogs so I’ve worked with dogs of all needs and walks of life including epileptic and profound-needs dogs. I love working with animals of every shape and size and have yet to meet an animal I didn’t get along with. Currently I’m starting a small business combining holistic wellness with women’s group work. Because of that I’m looking for more small gigs on the side that allow me the freedom to make and choose my own schedule. I don’t have rover ratings yet but I do have references available! Currently I work from home and am starting a small business. As that grows my availability may shift. I can offer in home care to well behaved small dogs that get along with cats. I can do check ins and dog-walking easily. I have a large space on a river at home and love bringing dogs(&cats) on walks and spending time outside. I’m committed to interaction and playtime as it’s vital to building and maintaining trust with animals. I’m comfortable following the structure that other people use in their homes to make their pet as happy as possible as well.

About: Have had pets since I was a child, over 20 years. I am a current pet and livestock owner. I have dogs, goats, bunnies and chickens. I am available most week days and every other weekend. I can be flexible, but it would have to work around my full time job. I am willing to drop in and walk your dog for as long as you'd like. Will play catch, ball and run them when possible.

About: I have been a fur baby person all my life. I have loved and cared for “puppies” and kitties since I can remember! I enjoy spending time with my fur babies. I lost my two fur babies and miss them very much so I have lots of love to share with your fur babies.Iwould love to spend time with your fur baby or babies. I am very detailed oriented, caring and have endless love for ALL fur babies. People tell me I have a gentle touch and am able to calm those little ones. I respect and strive to keep the area clean and tidy.

About: Hi! My name is Grace, and I’m a big time animal lover! I’ve had experience taking care of cats and dogs. I grew up with a cockapoo named Millie and a cat named Maggie and have always had a special connection to animals, dogs and cats in particular. I’m quite an active person, so I’ll be able to take your dog on a speed walk, but I’m also very patient if your dog prefers leisurely walks! I have Sundays and Mondays off of work, and I work the rest of the days so am not as available. Tuesday mornings before 10 am are available for me. I work a full-time 40 hr. a week job that is about an hour away from my house, so I’m only available to pet sit on days I have off, which are Sundays and Mondays. I am also available Tuesday mornings before 10 am I do not offer pet sitting in my own house, but in my client’s house I will make sure to follow the pet care instructions given to me to the T! I’m a very detail oriented person. I also love meeting new pets, and will make them feel as comfortable as possible by introducing myself slowly and in a friendly way.

About: As a dog mom of three, I understand how important routine, safety, and trust are when someone else is caring for your dog. I provide in-home sitting, walks, and drop-in visits. I’ve cared for both large and small breeds, as well as puppies and senior dogs. I’m comfortable administering medications if needed. My goal is to make sure both you and your dog feel completely at ease while you’re away. Since I work online from home, I can be with your pets throughout the day, giving them love, attention, walks, playtime, and everything they need. Occasionally, I step out for short house cleanings, but I would only be gone for a couple of hours at most. In your home, I make sure your pets are safe, cared for, and loved. I follow their routines, provide walks and playtime, and keep them happy and comfortable while you’re away.

About: I love working with dogs, the most! Pre-Covid I worked at a dog daycare for a year and those work days felt like my days off. There, I gained experience with all kinds of breeds and behaviors of dogs and got to love every one of them as they were my own. I don't do training but would be happy to reinforce learned tricks and commands that they already have experience with! currently caring for a newborn and off of my full-time employment. baby would join me in dog walks and drop ins. when returning to work i’m out early afternoon for those doggies needing a midday potty or visit would love to work with a couple of families closely to offer routine to your pet with consistent visits and care. About: Aside from having a family dog for 15 years, I have house/pet-sitting experience working for family members and close friends since 2007. I have never met a pet I didn’t adore. I’m self-employed, which means very flexible hours. Weekends are not out of the question with notice. I always try to find ways to make scheduling work. I will make sure that your loving companions are safe, fed, walked (if applicable), loved and attended to for the entire duration of my visit.

About: I am located in the beautiful adirondacks just a couple miles from a tourist attraction...Ausable Chasm... I have a cute cozy camper behind my home where I like to hang out with my dog and any boarders. Just miles from a beach that allows pets to swim. I have owned pets all my life, from cats, dogs to horses and other farm animals.I have had a love for animals all my life, most dogs and cats that we had in our family growing up have always gravitated toward me out of 4 other siblings. About: I have been working with animals for the last ten years. Started working in dog daycares and moved my way up to vet medicine where i now am a vet technician. I am patient and understanding to all pets personalities and ages. I am currently working 3 days a week on a specialty service at a veterinary hospital. My weekends are typically free and I would love to fill the time with your furry loved ones. Will be very respectful of your home and make giving your sweet boy or girl my devoted attention. Back yard fence in play is great but leash walks are also great!

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals, since growing up on a dairy farm in Charlotte, VT. I love dogs and finally have one of my own, and Austrailian Shepard, he happily plays with all dogs and enjoys off lease pack walks at local areas. I do overnight, day boarding, and pick up to play. I'm very flexible and happy to work at a short notice. I work from home and have my own business that gives the flexibility to work around my dogs schedule. I have a fenced in yard, along with a park right next door. Not only will they be mostly outside while they are here, they will get plenty of exercise and down time if needed.

About: I grew up around dogs. I volunteered with my aunt that rescued dogs until I could get my own. My Aunt has about 10-15 dogs on average at a time and the rescue organization had close to 50 dogs at a time I was volunteering there. I had 2 Wheaten Terrier mixes rescues one 16 years and another 12 years old. I had a 90lb, 11 year old Golden Doodle. I often house sit for my grandparents who have an Airedale Terrier. I also have experience working with dogs in the military. I love working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. I am trying out this service to walk some dogs, do some feedings and let outs for bathroom brakes while you're away, but mostly I love dogs. I have experience with dogs with cataracts, arthritis, and incontinence and I have experience working with other dogs with disabilities. I'd be willing to have dogs in my car. I am flexible with your dogs' training requirements. I am working full time and I have the ability to take care of your dog. Id love to take your dog to the park on the weekends. I can not board dogs currently; I'm sorry if this does not meet your needs. I would love to take care of your dog in your home while you're away.
