Cat Sitting in Althouse

About: Many years ago I used to take care of my neighbors' golden retriever. This led to dog-sitting at my house, house-sitting, cat-sitting, plenty of dog walking, as well as some hiking with dogs. Even now, golden retrievers are one of my favorite breeds. Whenever I have a Rover booking I try to spend as much time with the dog as possible. For short stays (1-4 days) I usually don't have to leave the dog home alone at all. For longer stays I try to minimize time away and when I am out it's typically very brief - running a couple of errands, grocery store, etc. My house has a large, well maintained yard with plenty of room for dogs to play and "do their business". My yard isn't fenced, so I'll keep dogs on a leash at all times when outside. If your dog likes hiking I'm an avid hiker and have found that hiking always goes better with dogs!

About: I have had all different animals all my life. I grew up working on a family farm, so I have experience with all different animal species. We currently live in Berlin with our 4 children, Great Dane Bella, and a mixture of farm animals. I attended PSU studying animal science, minoring in equine science. I am excited to meet your furry family members! I currently am a stay at home mom, so I’m very flexible! I am available for visits, drop ins, walks, day sitting in my home, and overnight boarding. I have a fenced in yard connected to my house, with locks on the gates. I also have an outdoor dog kennel and dog house if you have a dog that stays outdoors. In the home we have an older Great Dane, but she likes to keep to herself and is a certified couch potato. We have several gates up in our house to keep pets safely separated. I welcome dog crates if you have them, or I do have a few I could use here if that is easier. We have a large property where we can take walks, or we even live close to a bike trail we can walk at. I have done drop in visits for puppies and dogs in the past, and have had great feedback. I can stay for a length of time and let your pets get some exercise and play. I am open to tending farm animals as well while you’re away.

I love to care for animals and I can also care for your pet if it has medical needs such as helping with older dogs if they have arthritis or giving your pet medications. I have 2 friendly Boston Terriers of my own that would love to hang out with your furry friends. We have plenty of space so if your pet likes to be active we can take walks, hikes and run around in our yard. I will available to watch your fur babies while you are away and treat them as if they were my own. I have been working in the animal field for the last 17 years. I will treat and spoil your pet just like they are mine! We spend a lot of time at home so your pet will get all the love and attention just like they are at home. Our kids and dogs will also love to play and keep them entertained while they are in our care. I do not have a fenced in yard but we can take walks on a leash or okay in our large yard. We live near the bike trail so if your dog likes to take long walks or hikes we can do that too.

About: I grew up on a small dairy farm with all kinds of animals. I went on to college at Penn State and graduated with a degree in Agriculture. I spent five years working on dairy farms and then became Registered Nurse because I married a dairy farmer and needed to work off the farm. I love all animals big and small and are comfortable care of all sizes and ages. I am also comfortable caring for animals with special needs. I am available most evenings and flexible on the weekends. I am reliable and responsible and always treat others pets and property as if they where my own. I am starting this business as a secondary income and would love the opportunity to care for your pet. I will be available most weekends and some evenings . I work full time as a nurse so this is my second job however I will only be showing available on the app when I am fully available to care for your pets! I do not have a fenced yard but a large farm and plenty of room to run! We have a sheltie that is very friendly and loves to play. We also have a seven yr old daughter that loves dogs and cats! She would love to entertain your pet!

About: I’ve raised all my animals from babies. I’m a very caring animal lover and would do anything for them. I’m punctual and very honest. I will make sure I’m giving any and all pets the caring and love they need. I always make sure the animals are fed. Giving them all the love and attention they could ever want. And going that extra mile to make sure they’re happy. In clients homes I always make sure to keep the place clean. Clean up after the animals, take them out if they need to go. Feed them. Etc. I always try to make sure that everything is in the proper place.
