“Mike is a true gentle soul with a huge love for all of Earth’s creatures. Not only does he love all animals, but they love him back. He grew up with dogs, cats and critters, and he takes amazing care of his two cats, always with immense love, kindness, consistency and patience. He was wonderful taking care of his pet Ratties as well, always making sure they had when they needed and they were happy. I would trust him to take care of any animal or insect. He’s extremely reliable, and just an all around a wonderful, sensitive and compassionate person. I couldn’t think of someone more suitable for such a big responsibility as taking care of animals.”

12. Madison F.
About: Hey y’all! I’ve been around animals as long as I can remember. From horses all the way to fish. I was in 4-H for 7 years so I can expand into equine and cattle. I’ve had all sorts of animals as well. From a red eyed tree from to rabbits and axolotls. I may be small but no job is too big. I’ve gone as long as 2 weeks house sitting. I’d love to help you out! Even though I work two jobs. Saturday being the only day I work both. One of my jobs is in Petoskey and can leave if needed to check on them or let them out. I will go above and beyond for not only my babies, but yours as well. I currently have 2 axolotls that require a lot of care and attention. No matter how tired I am or what my day consists of I will still run home to check on them. And the same goes for the babies I’m looking out for.

13. Rebecca K.

“Rebecca provided a top-notch level of service, housesitting for senior black lab. She provided text updates and fun pix so we could follow how everything was going and see how much Smokey Bear loved being with her. Rebecca managed her time in our home and property very responsibly. We will definitely call her first for our next trip!”

14. Amanda N.

“Amanda was nice and prompt for our early day! I hired her for about four hours so my mom and I could walk the Mackinac Bridge on Labor Day. She also sent a nice photo of Watson about half way through her visit.”

15. Mack M.

“Mack is professional, prompt, reliable, and trustworthy. He kept our home neat, ran the dishwasher, and even put the bed linens and used towels in the laundry. Mack took Jameson on walks and sent daily updates, which is always comforting. It was great knowing that Jameson didn’t have to go stay somewhere else, but could stay in his own routine at home. I HIGHLY recommend Mack. I convey this to ALL my friends. Don’t ever worry or stress over planning a vacation. Just contact Mack!”

16. Renee C.

“Renee did a great job! She was very attentive and loving with Marbles. She sent me a picture or two a day, so I could see how he was doing, and that really helped me feel secure while I was away. Marbles was very happy with her. And oh my, she took such good care of the house—it was cleaner than when I left and I cleaned pretty well before I left! Would definitely recommend Renee to anyone who needs a dog sitter!”
