About: I am from Norway, living in De Pere together with my husband and my 3 dogs. Since I am not working, I have a lot of time to take care of your pets. Always had dogs in my family. Have experience with high demand breeds like Siberian Huskies and senior dogs with health issues. Work as a volunteer at Wisconsin Humane Society. I'm currently volunteering part time at Wisconsin Humane Society and have plenty of time to take care of your dogs. Active person and available for short and long walks. My pets are part of my family. The pets will be treated as family members and receive a lot of love and care. I am hands on and very active with my dogs inside and outside.

About: Your pets need someone who can keep up with their speed, match their energy and fun-loving nature, and give them the exercise and warmth they need to live their happiest, healthiest lives. I completely understand, because my own pets are family and they deserve the best care we can give them. I have several years of experience walking dogs, sitting dogs, and caring for cats in Columbus, Ohio. My family and I moved to De Pere, WI last year, and I would love to provide that same level of care to the adorable pets of my new neighborhood! My son Kiernan is 14-years old, and will be joining me for walks and other bookings (if you're comfortable with that, of course!): Kiernan has a true heart for animals, and a passion for dogs specifically. His dream is to become a veterinarian, and I want to do everything I can to help him get some valuable experience as he works towards this goal. We are hoping to combine forces as a mother-son team so you and your pet get both of us for the price of one. Though rest assured that I will be attending all bookings, and will never send my son by himself :) . As someone who has run several half marathons and loves the outdoors, we will make sure your pets are not only getting the exercise they need, but the warmth and attention they deserve. -If your pet loves speed, no problem! We can run together safely. -If your pet enjoys a more leisurely walk with frequent breaks, no problem! We can stroll through your neighborhood and take in the sights. -Playtime? No problem! We'll find a safe field to play fetch, or we can stay in the comfort of your backyard. My professional background is in education, and I am a licensed teacher in Wisconsin for 4th-12th grade English Language Arts. I am also semi-fluent in Spanish, and love to paint and write in my spare time. I grew up caring for my family's pets and had pets of my own for most of my life, mostly large dogs (German Shepherds, Labradors, Pit Bull mixes) but we now have a 6-year old pug named Edgar. Kiernan has spent his entire life with pets in the home, and has cared for and loved every single furry friend. Both of us have a soft spot for all pets of any shape, size, and breed. Kiernan and I fully believe that pets touch our lives for such a short amount of time, and because they give us their trust and unwavering love, we have a responsibility to ensure their time with us is as happy and fulfilling as possible. -Bookings with me: My schedule is flexible M-F in the morning, afternoon, and evening. -Bookings for the Mother/Son Duo: Kiernan is a freshman at DPHS this year, so we will combine forces for any bookings that occur after normal school hours (with your consent, of course): This would be M-F after 3:30pm. -Weekends: Kiernan and I are flexible to accommodate bookings on Saturdays and Sundays in the morning, afternoon, and evening. We have a fenced yard and live right by the Fox River Trail, where we can easily access miles of walking space :) . Kiernan and I are comfortable crating your dog and administering medications if needed, and are happy to bring baggies and all pre-approved treats with us to help train and clean up responsibly. Kiernan is VERY good at training dogs, and is extremely patient, warm, and encouraging during the training and housebreaking process: He has experience training our pug ever since he was a puppy, and several other dogs and puppies at his father's house too!
