We are the go-to pet sitters for friends and family. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or just company, we treat every pet like they’re our own. We are happy to provide daily updates and photos of your happy pet to give you peace of mind while they’re in our care. We both work from home with flexible schedules, go on daily walks, and we’d love to take your pet with us. We are available through the day for meal schedules, play time and bathroom breaks. We have a fenced in yard. We have no kids, and no other pets. If your pet likes to snuggle on the couch or bed, we’re happy to have them, if they like to keep to themselves, there’s plenty of space for quiet time. Their safety and happiness are our top priority.

About: I have thirty-plus years experience as a pet owner. I have always cared for my dogs with the greatest compassion, having raised Great Danes, a Chihuahua, various Hounds and many more. I have raised most of my dogs from puppies and have taken great care and compassion in their final days. I am very gentle and compassionate with our furry friends, having great love for them. And every time I meet a new fur-angel, they immediately sense that I am a friend. Some people describe me as a dog-whisperer. I want to open my home to people who need an alternative to helping their beloved dog feel loved and stimulated throughout the day, as opposed to sitting at home alone. I love dogs, I love being around dogs all day. I have a passion for looking after these gentle, wondrerul creatures, and it's my intention to devote a large portion of my life to helping them. My services are open 24/7. I am open to emergency calls/boardings. My schedule here at 'Fiona and Friends' is 7 days a week, 24/7. I am fully dedicated to the care of your pet. Any breaks in this schedule will be posted far in advance. I have a fenced, secure, back yard. I have a large crate available, if required for your pet, as well as an enclosed sitting room if your beloved pet needs space. As well, Fiona, our gentle and friendly Whippet Hound, will help keep your fur baby entertained all day long. Fiona loves company! We have doggy floor beds, and two couches to stretch out on (or cuddle up). And of course, I take the utmost care when walking around the south end of Gananoque. I will also provide you a link to a short Youtube video that showcases the house, backyard, and walking environment. This will be made available to you upon enquiry or booking.

About: I have owned and raised dogs and cared for dogs for at least a decade. I’ve been a proud parent to a Siberian Husky and two Australian Shepherds. One of my shepherds has had a litter in the past and I successfully cared for that litter. I am on summer break as a teacher. I am available everyday in July and August. During the school year I am available weekends and nights. I ensure pets have a positive experience by taking dogs on walks, to the dog park, out in the backyard for playtime, and games inside the house. Fun time can also be chilling in the house watching tv!

From the start Madison was great! informative, reassuring & caring. From the minute we dropped her off we knew we picked the right person to watch over bella while we were gone for the day! While we were worry free Madison also fed bella for us and kept her on a potty schedule so she did not have any accidents. Madison was also big on bella’s safety which was so reassuring we will definitely be using her again if we are in need of a sitter!!! 10/10 recommend!!”

About: I'm well versed in handling dogs of all ages as I grew up taking care of a black lab, yellow lab, schnauzer, standard poodle and labradoodles. Additionally, I competed in dog knowledge bowl, Showmanship and obedience through 4-H for several years. I have experience taking dogs to the vet and groomer as well. I'm currently searching for a full-time job but in the meantime can take care of your pups M-Su, 6am-6pm. Once I have a job I can pet sit and walk overnight during the week and weekends after 5pm. I have a kennel, dog toys and a small fenced in backyard. Additionally, I have potty bags and a leash. Willing to brush dog depending on temperament.
