“Brittany continues to amaze my whole family with her attention to detail and great communication with us and Frodo! She also is expert at keeping flowering plants thriving and looking their best. 🙌”

“I would rebook with Kat. She took good care of our 3 kitties while we were away. She followed our overly complicated feeding instructions and sent pictures of them eating and a few of them hanging out. One of the weekend days she definitely fed them all breakfast closer to lunchtime, but I still felt like they were in good hands, and in her defense I had expressed some flexibility in their feeding time. She also went out of her way to set our cat camera back up after the cats knocked it over so we could continue spying on one of their favorite hangout spots. Cats were happy and healthy when I got back.”

“Amir took great care of our cats and cow while we were away on our trip to Seattle! He was super detailed and asked a lot of great questions during the meet and greet to make sure he was prepared. He was super punctual and took great care of our animals! We will definitely use him again in the future when we need to! Highly recommend!”

“Erica was WONDERFUL! She responded promptly to our last minute request for a drop-in visit for our pup, Olive. Erica sent us updates about the visit with photos! We hope to use Erica’s services again in the future. I submit my highest recommendation”

About: I have my own car, I'm on time, I will take care of them like they were my owns. I've grew up with all sorts of animals. I've had dogs my whole life. I know how to control a dog fight it is happens. I'm a responsiable person. I don't leave the animals unattended for a long time. I let them out, give them water and food. They will get walked at least 4 times a day, makes sure they get some energy out and go to the bathroom. I love animals and I love helping people out. I feel like helping people out goes along ways. Will help you in the future sometime. I would love to have my own business when I'm older
“Ryan is a great dog sitter! I have trusted him for my 3 dogs’ care. I appreciate him for being helpful whenever he notices something. My dogs were comfortable around him. We want to ask him again!”

From the tiny and timid, to the large and in-charge, to the happy-go-lucky, to the extra cuddly, I try to approach every animals’ needs in a way that is comfortable and attentive. I generally work weekends, but can adjust if needed, with 3 weeks notice. And I am available for overnights 7 nights a week. I just want to make you, the owner, and the pet to be as comfortable as possible when providing care! I just ask that you provide as much detail needed, and I will be happy to work with whatever is needed for the duration of care. I am very respectful of my client’s homes, and am happy to to clean messes, and provide attention to the safety of the pet!
“Renee was very good with my 12-year-old, blind dog Ray. Ray is apprehensive around strangers, but she won his confidence and did a great job of caring for him overnight. She even got up in the middle of the night to feed him, medicate him, and let him out to relieve himself. He needs medications three times a day, and she was good about giving these. She was very gentle and patient with him, and she left the house in good order. I'm so happy to have found Renee. Thank you Renee!! You're great!”

“Beyond kind to both me and my kitty! Always on time, very attentive, and sent great updates and photos! Took the time to interact and play with my cat and always responded quick! Highly recommend!”

About: I've had the privilege of caring for dogs for over a decade. I have experience administering medication, walking, cleaning and playing with puppies and middle age dogs. I am a full time artist with quite an open and flexible schedule. I am available during the day during the week and flexible during weekends. I love playing and spending time with my own cat, catering to her needs and spending time together. I have no issue crating other's dogs if asked.
About: I’ve started walking dogs since I was walking in diapers. Throughout the years I’ve taken care of different sizes of dogs~ puppies to seniors. I’ve taken care of dogs that needed medical care and trained my dog and my grandma’s pup. I can say I know a bit of things when it comes dogs. I’m currently going to school in the afternoon and working at a part time, my mornings are almost always open and some of my nights. I’ll Still be willingly to work something out between those times. I like to take my dog out every 4 hrs even if he isn’t waiting at the door just to make sure he gets a nice breeze of the outside. I usually give him a cup of food every morning.
About: I was born into a family of German Shepherd lovers, and grew up primarily taking care of our German Shepherds until about 10 years old when we also adopted cats and labradors. Once I graduated college, I adopted an 8 week old Alaskan malamute, who I cared for his entire 11 years of life until he passed just recently in January. I am not ready to adopt again, but am missing the presence of dogs in my life and looking to fill that space by helping friends, family, neighbors and members of the community with their dog care needs. I am experienced with puppies, high maintenance animals, and especially with large breeds (my boy was 150lbs at a healthy weight and required at least 5 miles of exercise a day). I am kind, caring, uniquely experienced, energetic and reliable. Due to my experience, I know all too well what it feels like to have to find reliable, safe, trusted care for a large, high maintenance, and/or misunderstood breed - I know that I can definitely offer that unique service in this arena. I currently am taking a break from my career as an executive assistant. I am extremely active during the week, and have plenty of free time in general. I am respectful to how you’d like your dog to be taken care of in your home and out and about. No matter what the need, I am able to discuss, negotiate and accommodate. Though all are welcome - due to my experience, my niche has become working with and caring for large, high maintenance, and/or misunderstood breeds.
About: Having lived with dogs my whole life, I'm happy to help with years of experience in dog care. As a very active student with a flexible schedule, I have time and energy to help with dog walks! I also have a lot of patience and energy to help with dogs who require extra attention and care. As an experienced house-sitter, I'm an organized and responsible helper with dog care which requires special attention to detail. Love to help out on weekends and weekday mornings or evenings around my schedule as a graduate student. I will be able to help more during my vacations, so I’ll be sure to share when I’m off school I like to make sure the pets are comfortable with me and treat them and the owners property with respect I would hope for myself. I like to make sure I leave a pet and home happier, calmer, and safely when I provide my services
About: I've worked at doggy daycare/boarding facilities for 4 years, and have plenty of experience with, sitting, feeding, and medication administration! Outside of professional experience, I've been around dogs my entire life, having been raised with 3 in my family. I do currently have a job, but I'm scheduled either SUPER early in the morning or late at night so I'll be able to hang out with your babies all day! I'm more than willing to stay overnight as well to ensure the best care. (: I put the utmost care into petsitting, and will do anything needed while dropping by to care for your babies. I've always put in the time to bond with any dog in my care, even the ones with separation anxiety or any other specific needs.

About: I have a great love for animals, but especially, dogs. I've been dogsitting/dogwalking for around fifteen years, starting with sitting for my friends pets. I'm a very loving caregiver, so when their dogs would see me again, they'd spin around in circles, full of joy, and follow me around wherever I went. They started recommending me to their friends, who'd recommend me to their friends and so on, until I was sitting for all kinds of dogs. I decided I wanted to learn everything about dog care and to take it seriously as a profession. I took off to Peru and volunteered at a dog shelter. There I cared for 50 lonely street dogs. That's also where I learned about how to be an intuitive dog leader in groups of up to fifteen dogs. The feeling of fifteen strays running up to you every morning for some pets and affection is one I'll never forget. Now I spend my days sitting for dogs like yours. I also work in a doggie daycare. I spend a lot of my time off volunteering at the Humane Society. At this point, I'm confident and knowledgeable in dog behavior, alone and in groups. I can tell when a dog is anxious, or lonely, etc. I can read a dogs emotions, when it signals through its mouth ears, tail or body tenseness. I've learned a lot and I'm dedicated to learning more. I want to meet all the dogs! I'd love to meet yours! I'm sure we'd get along! I have a part time job in a doggie daycare, just because I love dog care and want to learn everything about it. Otherwise, I'm doing a lot of dogsitting. I like to dedicate a lot of my day to my furry clients, walking them and giving them bellyrubs. Housesitting: When I'm housesitting, I spend as much time as possible in your home with your dog. I love to take them to parks and to explore your neighborhood. Boarding: I have a big house to for them to run around in with fluffy, comfy couches and a cupboard full of treats. I also have a grassy back yard where we can chase balls and play tug-a-war. Lents Park is around the corner from me so take walks there several times a day.
“Chrissy did drop in visits for our 13 week old puppy. Our puppy was well taken care of and Chrissy made sure to tire her out so she slept the between visits. We will definitely be using her pup services again!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Alder Creek. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
