Kelsey B.
About: Hello, my name is Kelsey. My husband's name is Manny and together we have a doggy daycare and boarding facility as well as offering various drop in's/walks, house-sitting, etc. We're located outside of Forest City on an acreage. So, a little about me; I've been working with animals my entire life. I grew up attending the local 4H program which taught me various skills with all types of animals! From bathing horses and cattle, to performing the Heimlich maneuver on dogs and cats. I'm trained in CPR (animal and human). I've delivered cattle, puppies, and kittens, I can administer medications, and IVs, surgery aftercare, and repair minor wounds. I've done volunteer work with various agencies in the North Iowa area including all the local animal shelters, Harmony Ranch of Clear Lake (a non-profit organization servicing local clientele with equestrian therapies), and have personally made trips to both Oklahoma and Texas to rescue dogs from kill shelters. I've owned, fostered, studied, and trained dogs, cats, and horses of all sizes and breeds, from newborn to senior, from happy-go-lucky to scared and aggressive. We have 18 acres of land here that we've spent a lot of time and love cleaning up to create kind of a puppy (and human) paradise. We've carved out several walking paths both wooded and non, and about 10 of those acres are pasture where we take pups out on 40 & 50-foot leashes so they have lots of freedom while maintaining an extra level of safety. We also have shallow ponds for those pups who do like to dip their toes but can certainly avoid them for those who don't care for the water and we try to go for as many walks as possible with the pups while they're in our care. We have individual, cage-free, doggy suites inside our home if needed but we really try to stick to a more normal at-home environment where the dogs are out and about, with us, allowed on the furniture, have access to our big "toy boxes", and have freedom. Our entire downstairs family room is a puppy playroom with lots of toys, where they can all play together and we're in the process of turning our attached (heated and cooled) garage into another puppy playroom! We provide several daily walks, applicable socialization, and stimulating entertainment for your fur baby. Our goal is to keep every pet active with appropriate exercise, and mentally stimulating games/activities. Medications: We administer medications and medical treatments regularly. Just let us know what your needs are and we're happy to accommodate! My husband and I are both self-employed, remotely (work from home), which gives us the opportunity to be available almost 24/7. I make sure to update our calendar on Rover, regularly. While I do have dogs and a cat inside my house, they are all kept separate until we're able to give them slow, proper introductions. They're kept separate until they become familiar with one another, and there is immediate and direct supervision. Although your fur-baby may do alright without a leash at home, we leash every dog, every time we go outside, without exception. We have a play area, which is fenced in, but they're kept on a leash until secured within the fence. We have a security system, 24/7 fire, and carbon monoxide monitoring, along with security cameras in place to ensure all of our clients are kept safe at all times.

“This is a little late but I had Sarah watch Sadie over Labor Day weekend. I received updates every day on how Sadie was doing and felt confident that Sadie was in good hands while I was on my little vacation. I appreciated the updates and Sarah was very responsive. I love that she is right in the town I live in which makes it super convenient for me. Renee”

About: I’ve been around and taken care of animals all my life especially dogs! I couldn’t imagine my life without them! They truly are a part of the family! I work remotely and am home day and night unless I’m transporting my kids to activities or events. This makes for a very flexible schedule to take care of pets! I have a fenced yard with plenty of space for running and playing. I have 3 dogs to help keep your pet company! I also have dog beds for resting and a foldable crate stored in case it’s needed.

About: I've owned dogs all my life and have experience with many different breeds. I have experience with bathing and grooming heavy shedding dogs. I would love to watch your dog including eldery and disabled dogs. I currently have a very open schedule and available for weekend shifts as well as all work week. I am not a morning person so I would prefer no earlier than 10 am for starting time I live in an apartment but love to go for walks in local parks, there are several dog parks near me. The red jacket trail and sibley park are also great for walks.

About: Hi! I love dogs, and I’d love to have my own! But currently I am not at a point in my life where I can own my own dog. So I’d love to take care of your dog! I’ve lived with dogs throughout my whole life and I have helped take care of them (walk, feed, bathe, etc). I enjoy walking on my own so why not walk with your dog?? It’s a win win for all! I’m currently only working a part-time job. Therefore I have a very open schedule with lots of available time to walk and play with your pups! I don’t have the means to offer in home care at my place, but I am willing to travel to your home to take care of your pets!

Victoria B.
“I have known Victoria for over 15 years. During that time she has been and still is a good friend to my daughter. She has always been a caring and respectful young lady whom I am proud to know. Watching her grow up into the woman she is today was such a blessing. She has shown a patience for the animals on our farm, and her personal dogs and cat are well cared for and deeply loved. This evening she was making homemade dog biscuits in their oven. That's above and beyond pet care in my book.”

Nicki V.
“Nicki has done drop in visits, in home visits and boarding for me, and she is amazing. My dogs don’t usually do well with other people, but they love Nicki. It’s great finding someone that my dogs get along with. If you need your dog cared for Nicki is the person to contact!”

Karine T.
“I would trust Karine with my newborn and any animal! She is caring, compassionate, and more then able to give your furry baby all the love they need! Would highly recommend. 10/10!”

Daniela G.
“I have known Daniela for 10 plus years. She is a reliable and trustworthy person. She is willing to help anyone in need regardless or being asked or not. She has three pets of her own and she adores them. She is the only person I would trust to watch my dog. Daniela is a people/dog person. She gives off a positive and relaxing energy being around everyone.”

Emma R.
“Emma Renchin is a more than capable candidate for watching over someone’s beloved pet. I have witnessed first hand the love and care she has for her own pets as well as others. She also has a vast knowledge of all animals and how to care for them. I have personally had her watch over one of my own pets and to say she exceeded my expectations is an understatement. She truly is the best candidate for any and all pet needs.”
