About: I'm from PR, and I've been a dog rescuer since 2011. I have tons of experience caring for animals and giving them the love and treatment that they deserve. I love what I do. I retire and moved to Pittsburgh on February, 2023. It makes me a perfect match for your doggy. I will treat them as if they were mine. NO cages. I have a fenced runner connected to the pets' room that allows them to safely go in and out whenever they want. You can bring their bed or any special toys. I foster rescued dogs from PR that came to Pittsburgh looking for a second chance of life, and the money earn through Rover is used to cover their health and traveling expenses. I work from home, and my office is in the room where they will spend their stay, so they will be with me most of the day, and they will be able to play with my own dogs under supervision. If they are potty trained and well behaved, they will have permission to access all the house. To be able to satisfy you pup's needs, I will ask you to write down your special instructions and promise I will follow them as written. You will receive a lot of daily pictures of your furry friends.

About: 🐾 Pet Care Experience 🛎️ Please Read First: Before sending a booking request, please take a moment to read through my profile to see if I’d be a good fit for your pet’s needs and personality. I do my best to provide thoughtful, personalized care, and I want to make sure your pet feels comfortable—and that I’m a great match for your household too! 🚫 Breed Policy Disclaimer: For personal and insurance reasons, I am not able to care for Pit Bulls or Pit Bull mixes, including American Bullies. I may also decline other strong guardian breeds (e.g., Rottweilers, Dobermans) on a case-by-case basis. Thank you for your understanding and support of this boundary. 🐾 📌 Note on House Sitting I typically only accept house sitting bookings for 1–3 nights and within 7 miles of Murrysville, since I have pets of my own to care for. If your request is longer, feel free to ask about boarding or drop-ins as alternatives. 📍Rover’s distance estimates aren’t always accurate, so I kindly ask for your address before scheduling a meet-and-greet to confirm whether you’re within my service area. Bookings outside of this radius may include a small travel fee. 🚨 Meet & Greet Required: I require a meet-and-greet for all new clients—regardless of the service—so I can get to know your pet(s), answer questions, and make sure it’s a great fit for everyone. Thanks so much for understanding! 🐕 🐈 🐰 As a former teacher and lifelong animal lover, I bring reliability, warmth, and over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, and small animals. I treat every pet like one of my own and tailor my care to match their individual personalities and needs. 🐱 Cat owners—I've got you covered! I share my home with three cats and understand how important routine, respect for boundaries, and cleanliness are. Whether your cat loves attention or prefers solitude, I offer calm, attentive care and don’t mind tidying litter boxes or surprise messes. I currently share my home with two toy dogs, three cats, and two rabbits, so I’m used to managing a variety of temperaments and routines. I’m especially comfortable with seniors, puppies, and shy pets—and I’ve even fostered rabbits through rescue groups. Whether your pet needs potty breaks, medication, nail trims, or just some company, I’ll provide attentive care and detailed updates to keep you informed and reassured. I’m fully insured for added peace of mind. 🪴 For small animal rates (rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.), please message me directly. ⏰ Schedule & Availability I'm currently home full-time in Murrysville, which allows me to offer a flexible schedule and consistent, attentive care throughout the week. I’m available for house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking most weekdays and weekends—including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Because caring for animals is part of my daily routine, I can easily accommodate everything from quick potty breaks and neighborhood walks to longer visits, playtime, and one-on-one companionship. 🛡️ Safety, Trust & Environment 🛏️ In Your Home I’ll follow all your instructions to ensure your pet’s schedule is maintained—whether it’s feeding, walks, medications, crate time, or play. I’ll also keep your home tidy and treat it with respect. 🏠 In My Home I love creating a safe, happy space for guest dogs where they can relax, play, and feel right at home while you’re away. I share my cozy, pet-friendly home with two small dogs, three cats, and two rabbits. My dogs do well with gentle, small-to-medium breeds, and I only host dogs who are under 30 lbs, fully house-trained, and cat-tolerant to ensure harmony. ✅ A Good Fit for My Home: 🐶 Friendly with small dogs and cats 🕒 Comfortable being left alone for short periods (up to 1 hour) without barking, destruction, or distress 🚫 No history of aggressive, destructive, or excessively disruptive behavior 🚽 Fully house-trained Here’s what I provide for your pet: 🧼 Clean, comfortable environment with fresh water (via pet fountain) and sanitized bowls 🛏️ Cozy beds, blankets, and toys for rest and play 🏡 Fenced backyard for safe, supervised outdoor time 🚶 Quiet neighborhood for walks (or stroller rides for those who prefer) 🦴 Small dog crate available upon request What to bring: 🍽️ Your dog’s food, treats, harness/leash, special toys, medications, and bedding 📦 If your dog requires a crate larger than the small extra crate I have, please bring your own

About: Hi I’m Alex! I am 25 years old. I recently graduated from college in North Dakota. Throughout college, I would care for various dogs, puppies, cats, fish, and even horses. I grew up raising a black lab from kindergarten all the way until I graduated high school. I didn’t have a dog in college, but when I dog sat, I treated them as if they were my own. Fast forward to today: I achievers my dreams of becoming a pilot. It seems like a lot but I have a pretty flexible schedule and I work 7 days on 7 days off. During my off week, I would like to continue dog sitting and caring for others. Not only does it bring me joy to care for pets, but I love reliving pet owners of their stress of finding care. Petcare should not be another stressor when booking with me! I can provide references if needed. For BOARDING: I have 2 huskies: Jack (6yr, male neutered) and Daniel (6mon, male not neutered). My house is big enough to separate dogs if needed. The dogs have their own room which they are comfortable in. I am a pilot so my schedule is very flexible. My rotation is 7 days on and 7 days off. I am looking to share my services on my 7 days off. At my home: I have a pretty big house with a descent sized yard. Please bring a collar/harness so we can go outside and on walks. I have 2 huskies but they have their own room for separation. They are dog friendly and gentile/nonvocal. At your home: I stay for most of the day and will send texts messages if I have to leave. I will also send a text when I return. I’m never away for more than 3 hours. I keep most of my belongings to myself and I am very clean. You wouldn’t notice I was there, but your pets will!

From the start, she was professional, friendly, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. She kept me updated with daily photos and messages, which really put my mind at ease. My dog, who can be a bit shy, warmed up to her almost immediately. Sarah went above and beyond, not just feeding and walking them, but spending quality time playing and cuddling with them.
