“Maggie is AMAZING! We have two fellas that are not very fond of strangers. But Maggie has been so warm, patient, and willing to work with us to came up with a strategy to get her better acquainted with the dogs. Now they absolutely love her and are so excited to see her. She is great about making sure that the dogs come first above everything else. So if one didn’t do all of their business on the first walk, she would walk the other one, and then just do one more quality outdoor potty just to make sure that everyone had done their business accordingly. She’s not rushed, she truly cares, she has a bright and friendly personality. And best of all she’s patient and works with your animal’s quirks to meet them where they are and ensure a really good and positive experience for everyone. Our family can’t say enough good things about Maggie!!!!”

“Sarah is super sweet with the animals! She was patient with me, too, as I negotiated having her care for my elderly mother’s dog, who needs the attention so badly. We are now working out an ongoing, regular schedule.”
“Ken is awesome! My two pups love him. They whine when we pull up to be dropped off. They are exhausted and miss Ken and his dogs when they leave! So grateful to have him walk the pups, welcome them into his home and show them love when I cant!”

About: I have a wide range of experience in both breeds and age. I currently have a 6 year old goldendoodle, 1.5 year old lab mix, and a 6 month old Belgian Malinois. I’ve had the opportunity to train them myself from the ground up and grow with them I’m currently working part time so I have ample time to care for and train dogs. It’s my priority to first build a relationship with dogs before asking them to trust me and train them. Dogs require structure, and as owners, it’s our jobs to provide them with just that. Structured play, crate time, potty break, and public outings are all part of socializing and creating a well balanced, stable dog

“Alexa was great! She was super communicative and showed up on time every single day for a month to walk our two dogs while we were settling into a new house. She got them plenty of exercise each day, gave updates on how they did on each walk, adjusted walk lengths based on the weather and how much energy the dogs had each day, and overall was super attentive to each dog’s individual needs. Our boys are missing her already, and we will definitely be using her in the future!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
