Dog Walkers in Ajax, SD

About: I have house sat multiple times for the same families, which included care for both dogs and cats. One family had ill animals that needed special pills and diets, while the other had a puppy who needed walks to remain calm. I follow the instructions of the owners as best I can, and attempt to give the animals as much love and attention as I can offer. I was paid professionally to care for animals when I worked as a personal assistant for three years. I know that it can be hard work to care for animals, but I am willing to put forth the effort for them. I have had and cared for them all of my life, and I look forward to caring for yours! I work full time, but can be flexible with my lunch break. At the least, I could drop in three times a day or stay with them in the evenings. On weekends, if I am petsitting or dropping in, your pup or cat would be my highest priority and my schedule is much more flexible. Petsitting: When staying at a client's home, I keep the area tidy and try to spend more time with the pet than not. When I am not at work, I would be able to walk, play, and cuddle to their heart's content. If I have social plans, I adjust them to the pets needs so they are not left alone for too long. Dogwalking & Drop-Ins: After walking/playing with/checking on your pup, I would ensure they have adequate water and a treat, then give them some time to rest. Once I've ensured they've cooled down, I would let them out once more before topping off their water and leaving them for a nap. During the work weeks, walks would be at noon and after 5pm, but weekends are flexible.

About: I grew up with dogs, and my husband and I currently have 2 German Shepherds, one with special needs (which is why I only do walks or drop-ins, and I can't board or do overnights). I am unemployed by choice, with lots of free time to take care of your kids.. uh, I mean furbabies. I have trained several GSDs using positive reinforcement, and I know firsthand that an exercised dog makes for a happy home! I know how to give oral medication, and I have experience with dogs who suffer anxiety. Until recently I have always had a cat, and I absolutely love them. Each one is unique, and they crack me up! I am available all day most days, prefer to work within the traditional 8-5pm but will consider making exceptions. Let me snuggle your kitty or walk your pup, take them to the dog park or just exercise in your yard! I am retired, so I have lots of time to walk your pup or play with your kitty! My schedule is very flexible and I can usually accommodate a short notice request. I have 2 GSDs, and one of them has special needs, which means I cannot take pets into my home at this time. But I am happy to stay at your home provided my husband is not out of town.

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs of all different ages since I was very little. I believe walks should be enjoyable and safe. I adapt to each dog’s pace, offer patience for puppies, gentle care for seniors, and dependable communication for owners. Pet care fits really well into my weekends. I keep my schedule pretty flexible, so I’m able to focus on walks and give each dog my full attention without feeling rushed. I care for pets in their own home where they’re most comfortable. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, keep routines consistent, make sure pets are safe and comfortable, and always give them plenty of attention during visits and walks.

About: I’ve been housesitting/dogsitting animals for years. Honestly spending any amount of time with animals just automatically makes my day better. I’m a nurse and being able to play with dogs that love you unconditionally is so amazing. I have 2 corgis and they’re my world. This would give me the chance to just love on other people’s pets while I’m not working and to ensure they don’t feel lonely while you’re gone! I moved to Rapid permanently and have Saturdays and Sundays off. During the week my schedule varies from the hospital but I’m more than happy to help in the evenings if needed! I make sure to give your pet all the love and attention they want. Currently am not taking pets overnight where I’m staying, but am more than happy to watch or pet sit at the pets house.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was old enough to walk. I have experience with a wide range of animals. I love every critter big or small and love caring for them. I am no stranger to caring for senior, sick, and/or injured animals. I would love to put your mind at ease with great pet care! I am a Sophomore college student in on Summer break. I do work 2-3 days a week, but my schedule is flexible and I can make most things work. I would love to work it out to be able to care for your animals! I am ready and able to provide any service your fur baby needs. We can play, walk or just hangout in a safe space with a safe person when I look after your animals.

About: I've had pet dogs since I was around 8 years old and have loved taking care of my dogs. I wish to be able to take care of your pets as if they were like my own pups. I am currently working part time and will be going to college in the school time so I will be able to play with your pups as often as I can if not more! About: I currently work at Safe Haven Pet Resort, which means I work with animals almost everyday and I have for 3 years now! I have learned now how to do some training and to be able to read a dogs body language. Being that I do work at Safe Haven, pet care has become a huge part of my life! Working with animals is what I love to do and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I have 2 pups of my own so when I am watching your pets they can also have play buddies! About: Experience. I am active and reliable! Looking to build client relationships and trust! New to Memphis, but not Tennessee. I am from Nashville, and just moved back to Tennessee after living in Laramie, Wyoming. I have a full time job and live a full life here. I hold a degree in Child and Family Studies with a minor in ASL from the University of Tennessee. I grew up with and around dogs all my life, specifically German Shepherds and Akita's. I do not know everything about dogs, but I want to know everything about your dog. Working with Rover is just a fun way to make new furry friends and get to know more people in Memphis. Being there for your pet while you're week got unexpectedly busy or you're away overnight provides relief for you and your furry family. Schedule. Currently working full time, but can be flexible for your pet. I can use my lunch break for walks and medications. I feel like this is something that is relative to each pets schedule and owners request. Safety and Trust. Your dog is family and will be treated as such. Unless I have specific directions or know that your pet is allowed to eat or do something not listed, it does not happen. We have fun while following the rules. Unless it is an EMERGENCY, your pet does not get in the car with me. I trust myself, I do not trust other drivers.

About: I grew up with dogs and I currently have a black lab who lives with my husband. I’ve dog sat for friends and family throughout my life. I love to run, walk and be outside in nature. Dogs are definitely considered family to me! I am a travel nurse from South Dakota but currently live in Des Moines. I work night shift so during the day I’m around. My days are generally grouped together but letting pets out or walking are both doable! I can do overnights and watch for periods of time it will just depend on my schedule. I always want to respect the animal and let them come to me to meet and get to know me first. I love to play fetch or with whatever toys they like.

About: I’ve taken care of many pets in the past. As a fellow dog parent I am extremely picky on who I let watch my own animals so i promise to take good care of your fur babies! I’m a full time Paramedic so I’m only available Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. I am also available to do house check in’s for cats I unfortunately do not have much of a yard, but I do have a high energy GSD so we go on many walks and outdoor activities

About: I have lived in households with pets my entire life as well as taken care of countless peoples animals while they have been busy or out of town. I go to the dog park just about every day and am well versed in how animals interact with each other and how to make them as comfortable as possible. I am back in the Black Hills until September when school starts up again for me! I am very free and would love to watch some pets of all kinds. I have my own dog and I can have them hang out or she can stay at home just as easily!! I care for all pets in my home and in others the same way, with love and respect. About: I have a dog of my own named Finn, who I adore! He is a mini dachshund. I also grew up in a home with several animals, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I love cats and dogs equally, and I’ve volunteered at the Humane Society of the Black Hills as well. I am currently an accelerated nursing student at SDSU and my schedule works well for pet sitting. I also enjoy taking care of animals it’s very therapeutic for me so it works out. I’m pretty flexible when it comes to pet sitting in someone else’s home. I cannot do it in my own because it’s my mother’s house and she’s allergic to dogs. My own dog is with my husband while I am in nursing school. So I will compensate by getting all the love from the pets. I won’t be caring for pets in my own home, but I’m very comfortable providing care in your home and helping your pets stick to their normal routine. I also pet sit for my brother’s dog frequently, so I’m used to managing daily needs like feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I’m happy to take your pet on walks and make sure they’re fed, exercised, and getting plenty of attention and affection. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while you’re away, and I’ll do my best to keep things as normal for them as possible. I also don’t mind helping with light household chores during my visits, things like bringing in mail/packages, watering plants, taking out trash, or tidying up pet areas so you can come home to a clean, settled space.

About: I’ve had a dog named jewels who is with my mom for 12 years, I raised her and trained as a young girl and wanted to be a veterinarian, I am now a senior in college for psychology. I work three days a week and am very flexible with my schedule. I can do nights and days as well as later nights and early mornings. I treat animals like there my own children, I have a huge heart and I hope to share this will other pets and animals in my community
