About: I grew up with my beloved dog Molly, and animals have been part of my life ever since. I truly believe dogs and cats can sense energy — and I’ve always felt a natural, calm connection with them. When your pet stays with me, they’re not just being watched — they’re treated like they’re visiting their favorite cool aunt’s house: safe, loved, understood… and maybe just a little spoiled 🤭(with your permission, of course). As much as I adore animals, I also deeply understand the responsibility that comes with caring for them. It’s not just cuddles and cute moments — it’s structure, patience, routine, and safety. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to fully trust the person caring for your fur baby. I am comfortable with puppies, senior pets, and different temperaments. I can follow structured routines, feeding schedules, and administer basic medications if needed. I pay close attention to behavior changes and body language to make sure your pet feels safe and understood. My schedule is currently very flexible, as I work from home as a freelance architect. This allows me to be fully present, attentive, and available throughout the day. I’m a morning person and available starting at 7am, seven days a week. My husband Alan occasionally helps with transportation and additional support when needed. He is also a true animal lover, and together we make sure your pet receives consistent and attentive care. We often joke that we become the “second mom and dad” to the dogs we care for. Whenever possible, we genuinely enjoy spending time with them together — making sure they feel safe, loved, and at home. Your pet’s safety and emotional comfort are my top priorities. I’m available to provide care in your home or at a location that best suits your pet’s routine and comfort. In your home, I respect your space and your pet’s established routine. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions (if needed), and any specific guidelines you provide. I make sure doors, gates, and windows are always secure, and I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and overall well-being.

About: I work from home and would love to hangout with your pets! I’ve always had pets in the home from cats to birds to dogs. I have had a ten year old cat who had diabetes so I’m trained in injections and medications. My dogs back in Texas are pit bulls so I’m used to large lovable doggies :) I currently have a one year old golden doodle who loves to play with friends! I work from home so pets don’t go unattended and always have someone to hangout with. I am free most weekends and my significant other is also home to help out with high energy pups. :) I have walking trails around my apartment and wooded areas out back. My partner and I love to go on walks when weather permitting and would love to take your furry friend with us.

About: Hello! My name is KellyAna, welcome to my page ! I offer pet care with flexible availability and many different options! I have been pet sitting for a couple years now and I love what I do, I have a experience with dogs Both big & small and it’s always so much fun to be able to look after them and learn more and more about dogs, different breeds and be able to grow along side many of my returning & new clients ! I’ve looked after many dogs and have experience administering medications please just let me know if your pet has any special accommodations beforehand so we plan accordingly and make sure your pet gets the best care possible I am always willing to work with a client in whatever I can do to make them feel the most comfortable with their pet being left in my care so please feel free to set up a meet and greet so we can go over anything you feel is necessary to know about your pet! If you you do not feel a meet and greet is necessary please leave me your best detailed message about your pet and their day to day routine/schedule Owners should bring bowls, bed for their pet ( I have extras to an extent) & anything they feel their pet will need that will make them feel the most comfortable during their stay, I do ask that Pet Parents please label their fur babies property so that I can return everything to their rightful owners at pick up and to help avoid any accidents. I frequently take dogs on walks/rides with me & sometimes to the park, if you prefer I do not do so please just let me know! Though I do my best to always be the one meeting you for pick ups & drop offs sometimes I do juggle multiple pets & I do not only work in my home but I watch clients pet in their homes as well sometimes just to let their dogs on potty breaks so please stick to your pick up & drop off times and do your best to let me know ahead of time if you are running late or anything changes, I know my clients would like to see me but I do have family here that many of my clients are familiar with now that help me with pick up/drop offs when I can’t not be there right at the moment. Thank you so much for choosing & trusting me with your pet! I will provide you with pictures/videos & keep you updated about your pets well being & just to send over any cute pictures of course. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions at any time! We get that sometimes your pet may be more comfortable in their own home which is perfectly fine! Can’t come to us? I can come to you! We offer house sitting/drop in visits/doggy daycare & walks ! Please feel free to let us know if you would rather have house visits so we can go over every detail when it comes to the safety of your pet & home ! My at home & work schedule is pretty flexible So I can always work something Out to Make proper accommodations & I also have family members with verified rover accounts if I ever need help We usually have anywhere from 1-3 pets with us a week and will make proper accommodations when planned accordingly, (please contact me a week in advance if you pet is to be kept alone/away from other pets)

“Very highly recommend: I dropped my deaf dog off unsure of how she would interact with others, as I typically try to keep her away due to my uncertainty. However, Sarah provided constant updates with pictures and videos of my pup interacting with others, which put my worries to rest. I very much loved having my pet here and I’m sure my pup did too.”

About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs throughout my entire life. I’ve had the blessing of entirely raising a dog a cat and even a snake, from months of age to adulthood and throughout their elder years on my own. I am currently on summer break from school and work full-time as a Behavior Technician in Okemos, MI ! Other than my day-job I have a complete open availability on nights, afternoons and weekends. Plenty of time to smother your fur-baby with love and affection ! I have an upstairs apartment with two cats and a pet snake. There are no stairs inside my apartment so there is easy access for disabled and senior fur-babies. My bedroom and guest room also reside all on the same floor.

About: (Leave a review if you can!)⭐️ I’ve been a dog and cat girl my whole life. From learning patience with young dogs at the age of 5 weeks old, to attending to a 14 -year-old dog, I have open-handedly experienced what it is like dealing with dogs of all ages. I have also dealt with the sassy teenager phase from both dogs and cats. When they are bored, they will make it known. The biggest take I have learned from taking care of dogs and cats is that they won’t always be on your timeline. You have to be extremely patient and take time to train them and be there for them. I’m currently doing babysitting only Monday 9am-5pm. I am going to school but I mainly take online classes, so I’ll have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they need. My schedule is flexible and my boyfriend also lives with me and helps me so your pet won’t get bored! He’s home during the periods I am out so overall my schedule is free. I have a fenced in mini pet park next to my apartment. Your furry companion will get all of the exercise he/she needs! My apartment is very cozy and safe, only smaller pets are allowed so there won’t be any issue with other pet owner neighbors.

I also speak Spanish! (The cat from the picture was one I fostered for three months) I work weekdays until 5 pm and leave the house around 10 in the e morning. Rest of my hours of the day would be dedicated to your pet. I try to gain trust in our first meeting that way we can build a relationship where your pet feels comfortable with me. FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Ainger

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Ainger commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .

Yes, you can find sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. Many sitters can respond to messages in under an hour.

To find the fastest available match, message multiple sitters with a recent "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
