About: Although I have been a lifetime animal lover, I have spent the last 10 years caring full time for 4 dogs and 1 sweet kitty. My partner and I are in Palm Springs from November through April and outside Chehalis, Washington from May through October. We love to share extra time and energy to help neighbors with their pet care needs. We currently have one fun-loving 5 year old dog named Nico in the house. He gets multiple walks each day and lots of playtime, and truly loves the company of other dogs. We are not working and have complete flexibility over our schedule. We already make Nico our primary focus and would do the same for any dogs we have staying in our home. *Please note that daycare stays over 5 hours will have an additional fee and daycare stays over 8 hours should be booked as a boarding request. We can take care of your pet in the manner they are accustomed to and do whatever makes their parents the most at ease! We will adapt to your pet’s eating, sleeping and exercise routine. We have a neat and tidy house with a fully fenced small yard in a very dog friendly community(in Palm Springs) and 2 acres of fenced yard in Washington.

“Melanie is an excellent pet sitter. She came to our home for a meet and greet and my husband and I were immediately impressed. We found out that she is a dog trainer, a dog groomer, a mom to a couple of Aussies, and so much more. She is very smart, kind, responsible, and funny. Melanie gave us so many tips for our fearful and somewhat aggressive seven month old pup. We were very excited to find her and felt comfortable leaving or three fur kids with her over the Christmas holiday. Melanie sent us lots of text, photos, and videos which made us feel at ease and allowed us to enjoy our time away. She was very reliable and even weathered the ice storm to care for our kids. She also offered to bring her for babies a couple of times and it was an excellent opportunity for our kids to get exposure to much-needed socialization. The day we flew home, Melanie reached out to us to let us know that she had washed the sheets, cleaned the litter boxes, and bathed two of our dogs (through her grooming business). When we came home, the house was perfect and our dogs smelled and looked amazing. We would highly recommend Melanie and look forward to using her again. Thank you Melanie!”

About: I have experience with a variety of animals. Yes cats and dogs, but I also have experience caring for small livestock, poultry, and small exotics. I can confidently care for any and all animals brought my way. I'm a former 4-H kid and have grown up around animals, so I love getting to care for animals and always provide top-notch care. I am graduating from college and will be most likely unemployed during the summer, so I will have tons of free time to spend with your pets. I literally have nothing else going on minus occasional trips out to spend time with friends or volunteer places. So I can make your pet's schedule fit around mine easily for the next few months! When I am house and pet sitting, I treat my clients home and pets like they are my own space/my own pets. I am very respectful of the space I am in and I shower all animals I am taking care of with love and affection. I always want to do a meet-and-greet beforehand with the owners present so the animals will know me (and hopefully be more comfortable with me) before I am suddenly staying in their home. I do everything I can to help pets feel comfortable with me in their space.

I worked at a doggy daycare in Seattle for years and I have animals have always been my favorite. I’m experienced with dogs of different ages, energy levels, and temperaments, including senior dogs and puppies. About: I have had over 15 years of small and large dog experience. I have worked in kennels so I have experience with handling several temperament types. Safe and compassionate Care is my number one concern! I'm currently going to school to finish my bachelors in science of nursing part-time online so I am home the majority of the week. I can provide around the clock care. I have a fenced backyard that attaches to my house and a large carport area that is covered. The yard is clean and grass is cut short. Everything is secure and checked regularly. I have three extremely dog friendly long hair Dachshunds.

About: I have owned dogs for 11 years now, and still counting. I have pet sat and dog walked for many people; I have experience with different dog sizes, personalities, and training techniques, and have used that knowledge to better my skill set. I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant, and have the training to preform any basic medical tasks, should your pet require it. I have also worked with cats, horses, exotic animals and livestock in the past. I am currently working part time form home, so your pets will have plenty of playtime. I am available for boarding or home-visits, depending on your pet's individual needs. I have a large farm for your furry friends to run around on. If in your home, I am very comfortable with yard play, leashes, and crates.

Judging by the many pictures and videos we received, they were both very comfortable and happy in his care ! My dog received the meds he needed and Josh went out of his way to buy peanut butter when our pup was being stubborn. Can’t wait to rebook with him, knowing our babies are in good hands ! Additionally, our apartment was left in great shape; very clean and even had clean bedsheets to come home to :)”

About: I've cared for people's dogs, cats, fish and homes for a couple of years in the Lacey, WA area. I work remotely so most days I can be with your pets all day and I have stayed in homes for up to two weeks. I love animals and will play with your furry family members, take them for walks, give them medicine and stick to the routines you have established. I love gardening and am happy to water plants while you are away. I work remotely so as long as you have wifi, I can stay with your pet(s) during the day! I can stay with your pets any day/night of the week. I will follow your routine, take your pets for a pup cup if allowed, or just hang out and play and snuggle in your home. I work remotely so I can easily take your dog(s) for walks or play fetch in the yard on breaks. I am comfortable giving injections and other meds if required. Of you need me to take out garbage bins or water plants, I am happy to do that as well. I will leave your home just as I found it, ready for your arrival.
