About: Hi, I’m Erika! I’m a stay-at-home mom of two with approximately 18 years of hands-on animal care experience and a genuine love for everything this work entails. I began working with animals at 16 and have built a professional background in veterinary medicine, emergency animal care, wildlife management, and zoological settings. I’ve worked as a veterinary technician and zookeeper, with experience at Waynesburg Animal Hospital, Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center, Nemacolin’s Wildlife Academy, and the Pittsburgh Zoo. Over the years, I’ve cared for animals of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. I’m experienced with medication administration, senior and special-needs animals, behavioral challenges, and recognizing the subtle cues animals use to communicate. I’m comfortable with energetic working breeds, timid or reactive dogs, and pets who simply need a little extra patience and understanding. Animals have always been a tremendous part of my life. I genuinely enjoy learning their personalities, understanding their individual needs, and making their time in my care as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I’m currently offering dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. My goal is simple: to provide knowledgeable, dependable, and genuinely compassionate care while giving owners peace of mind. As a stay-at-home mom of two, I have the flexibility to dedicate my days to something I’ve always loved: caring for animals! I’m generally available between 7 AM and 6 PM for dog walking and drop-in visits, including regularly scheduled care and occasional visits. My children, ages four years and seven months, typically accompany me. I’ve been incorporating my children into my pet-care routine since my daughter was a year old. Of course, I understand that not every pet is comfortable around children, and I have dependable childcare available whenever a visit is better suited to being handled independently. I’m happy to discuss your scheduling needs and do my best to accommodate your pet’s established routine. With nearly 18 years of experience in veterinary medicine, emergency animal care, and zoological settings, animal safety and well-being have always been central to my work. I take the time to understand each animal’s temperament, body language, medical needs, and established routine before providing care. I’m comfortable working with senior pets, animals requiring medication, and those who may be nervous, reactive, or need a more patient approach. During visits, I respect your home and follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and household boundaries. Walks are conducted with appropriate leash and handling practices, and I never introduce unfamiliar animals or environments without discussing them with you first. My children may accompany me with your knowledge and approval, but they are not responsible for handling or supervising your pet. Independent visits are always an option when appropriate. I believe trust is earned through responsible care, clear communication, and genuine respect for each animal’s individual needs.

About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats since I was about 8 years old! I have always had a love for being around animals. I am a college student, so currently my summer is mostly free! I have a good amount of availability at any time of the week. I have a fenced in yard so both of my dogs can run free, yet stay safe! Both of my cats spend their time indoors.

About: *Hello! My name is Jessica and I cannot wait to pet sit for you! I have roughly 15 years of experience with pet/house sitting. With me, you'll be able to enjoy vacation, spend time with family, or whatever it may be with reassurance and a sigh of relief knowing that your little furry family member is in good hands. *I started off many years ago cat sitting for 2 cats and one of them needed a lot of care including medication twice a day. Over the years, that led to dog sitting 2 dogs. Pretty soon, that family referred me to another family, they did the same, and next thing I know I had about 4 different families that I was sitting for. I recently took some time off, but I am ready to start again! *For my job, I start at midnight until usually 8:30am. At some point during the day, I do online college courses (I'm done with schooling at the end of this year), so that means I will be able to spend basically the entire day with your pet! *Not only will booking with me help you, but it also benefits me because I thoroughly enjoy being around animals. Where I live, I am not allowed pets so anytime I am able to help people and it so happens to involve an animal, I am happy! *For pricing, I'm willing to talk about it. I work full time but start at midnight until 8:30am. That gives me the ability to be able to be at your house all day with your pet(s)! That means they won't be lonely while you're gone! In your house, I will give your dog all the comfort that it needs because I'm sure not having their owner around will be an adjustment at first. I am able to take your pet on as many walks as needed, follow whatever food schedule that is required, and have as much cuddle time as they let me! I would care for your pet with the mindset that this is a little family member and treat it with the kindness and respect all animals deserve and I never bring anyone else over to the client's house.

About: Growing up an animal lover my whole life, that passion has led me to hobbies and a career. It started with volunteering at my local animal shelter, to kennel attendant, to animal care technician at the University of Pittsburgh, Labcorp, and Penn State's College of Medicine. I have personal and professional experience with both cats and dogs (and also rabbits, rats, ferrets, hamsters, and guniea pigs if you have a little one!) I know how to give medicine (oral, topical and injections), properly feed, play, socialize and keep healthy! To me, I treat my pets and animals that I’ve worked with like people and give them all the love, care and attention that they need and deserve! I hope I can give the same amount of love, safety and assurance to your pets while you can’t be there! I am currently available for all days/hours and any service needed, from house & pet sitting to just a one time walk, and always open to any kind of pet! I have 4 cat children of my own at home and they are so spoiled and loved, my one cat doesn't like when he's separated from me! It's definitely "their" house but they know I'm their mother! I'm hoping to be able to spoil your pets in their own home, where they feel more safe and comfortable.

About: I have always had a love for dogs and have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I have two rescue dogs of my own, so I understand the importance of making your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have previously worked as a dog sitter for family, friends, and people in my neighborhood. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive, and I enjoy spending time playing with dogs, taking them on walks, and making sure they get the care and attention they need. I will treat your dog like they are my own!! I’m a college student and currently don’t have a job so I have a flexible schedule. I’m generally available Monday Wednesday and Fridays before 11AM and after 130PM. Tuesday Thursdays I am available before 930AM and after 1PM. I am apart of a sorority, so I occasionally have events at different times throughout the week, but I’m very flexible and happy to communicate ahead of time to work around my schedule and your pets needs! I currently live in an apartment, so unfortunately I’m unable to bring dogs into my home. I’m very comfortable caring for dogs in their own home and am used to working with dogs both on lease and in a fenced in yard. I will always prioritize your pets safety and follow your instructions for walks, outdoor time, feeding, and routines. I’m happy to maintain your dogs normal routine and provide plenty of attention and care!
