About: I was new to the pet ownership when I got my boys in 2019. I conducted thorough research since I was in need of an emotional support animal. In my quest, I found the perfect fur baby for me, the Biewer terrier. I started with one, however since my Denni suffered with anxiety and separation issues I felt it prudent to get him a companion. Two months later we welcomed Davis into the family and have never been happier. I relocated to Virginia at the start of the pandemic in 2020. One year later I suffered a health crisis which made it difficult for me to fully care for my boys. It took another two years before I made the difficult decision to rehouse them. Fortunately, I was able to turn them over to the loving care of my dentist. Since she brings them to work with her, I can still stop by to say hello and spend some time with them. Over time, my health improved, I was introduced to dog care and the rest is, as they say, history. I have found my passion. With a heart full of love for fur babies of all shapes, sizes and temperments, I'd be honored to care for your beloved fur babies in my home or yours. My time is my own. I am retired and home all day. I am flexible and willing to adjust my schedule to fit yours. I even offer pick-up/drop-off services when needed to lessen the burden on you. Let's work together to make things easiest for you. I live in a townhouse with stairs on the inside of the apartment. This allows the dogs to get plenty of exercise, as needed. I also have a balcony so your pets can be outdoors all day, if they so desire. I took care of a Greyhound who was very sweet but quiet. He would sit out on the balcony all day and never barked once. I can also take puppies in need of training. I trained my boys myself with the help of Cesar Millan and Brian McMillan (lol). I am also considering getting formal training. In the meantime, I seek knowledge from books and subscribe to several YouTube channels specifically geared towards dog training. I have potty pads, toys and treats in my home, as well as other items I use for training purposes. Recently, I did drop-in visits for two medium-sized dogs. One, a senior dog, the other a 5 month old Border Collie full of energy. I let them out in the backyard for 30 minutes. I made sure they had fresh water and then crated the Collie until the owner returned home.

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life and now have a golden retriever puppy of my own. Throughout college I would pet sit and care for family friends dogs when I came home for holidays and breaks. Experience with both small and large dogs. Currently work as a registered nurse with a flexible schedule during the week as well as availability on weekends and holidays. Comfortable with kenneling, walking, feeding, bathing, giving medications, and playing. I currently work full time as a registered nurse Monday through Friday however I still have a flexible schedule. Available both during the week and weekends as well as holidays. I can easily crate dogs in your home and provide walking if there is no fenced in yard. If there is a fenced in yard there will be lots of play time.

About: Hello, my name is Kathy and I offer overnight boarding, day care, and walking for mellow and senior dogs and I specialize in caring for cats and kittens. I have lived with and cared for both cats and dogs my whole life, from young ones to seniors, as well as sick pets who need medical attention. I am skilled at giving oral medication and shots. I also volunteer at my local no-kill shelter and handle cats of all sizes. My husband and I live with our small introverted tripod dog and 2 cats in a house with a fenced-in backyard. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with sidewalks. Our home is a relaxing space for senior, mellow, and/or introverted dogs - if your dog enjoys cuddling on the couch or slow strolls around a quiet neighborhood, then we have the perfect home! I also offer the following services separately: - Dog baths (shampoo + conditioner; $15/bath) - Cat nail trimming ($10/session) Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home with a generally flexible schedule. I'm able to set my own hours for the most part and can be available over lunch as well as before and after work. I'm also able to take frequent breaks to let dogs outside in our fenced-in backyard with a 6-foot fence. After work, we will go for a walk around the neighborhood. I'm the primary caretaker but my husband helps when he is home. Boarding: I have a small, introverted tripod and 2 cats. As such, I will only board mellow, senior, and/or introverted dogs who are good with cats. My cats will not bother your baby as long as they don't bother the cats. Drop-ins: I understand every pet has its own personality and will respect their needs! I'm happy to play with your energetic companion or leave your shy loved one alone and let them come to me. No matter what, I am always attentive to their body language.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life as I have had two labs and a husky throughout my life. I have also walked my neighbors dogs for years. I am trying to do something in my spare time that I actually have a passion for doing to make some extra money! I am available almost anytime. I care for my lab in my house and have a fenced in back yard. He likes to run in the yard and is very friendly.

About: I have trained my own dog, as well as many other family/friend pets over the years. I LOVE any and all animals, and I am sure to give each of them attentive care specific to their own personal needs. I am very good at reading animals and their personalities, and I know how to make them feel the most comfortable and happy. I am a college student home for the summer. I currently work at Centerstage Academy, which is a musical theatre program for kids, but I have lots of free time especially on weekdays. I am more than willing to commute to your home, or let them stay at my house! In my home, I am able to care for pets in many ways. I have a large backyard that is fenced, and lots of dog food and treats available for use. I have a dog of my own too! His name is Cooper, he is 12 years old but he still acts like a puppy. He is super friendly and loves to play with new friends. I also have bedding available, and a crate that I can use if requested! In a clients home, I am able to bring toys, treats, bedding, and anything else needed to best entertain the pet. I am very respectful of other people's homes and I would be sure to keep things tidy while also keeping your pet company.

About: I have over 20 plus yrs expierance taking care of all types of animals. I have worked for several vets in the area, my family owns local horse stables and i have done dog breeding on the side. My animals are my children, and i would love to include your animals apart of my family as well. I work part time during the day, Tues thru Thursday 10am to 3pm. So i have plenty of time to spend with your pets, which include walks, playing ball, meeting up with other pet friends at the park. I donot have a fenced yard but i do take my own dog outside several times a day for bathroom breaks z and excersise plus in the past while dog sitting i take dogs down to the horse farm and let them run free on a private lane and get thete zoomies out. I also have a couple extra crates medium size if you would like me to crate your baby at night or day
