“Linda stayed in our hotel room with my old girl while I visited Colonial Williamsburg. Pepper can have separation anxiety. I sure having Linda to cuddle next to kept her calm and comfortable. Many thanks!”

“So glad Taylor spent the winter holidays with my two dogs! She left my home clean, always kept me updated, and handled things well when they didn’t go to plan. I’d highly recommend booking Taylor!”

“Sydney did an excellent job pet and house sitting during a 5 night trip. She communicated with me every day about how my pets were doing and sent me photos. This really put my mind at ease and allowed me to have a better vacation. I will definitely request her services again!”

“Ehlaura was wonderful! Kept us updated during the stay and we came home to happy and healthy boys which is our number one priority. Already have Ehlaura booked for a future sitting!”

“Monique’s and her husband Daniel do an amazing job taking care of our Vizsla Skye! We have hired them many times and feel so comfortable leaving Skye in their care. Skye recently tore her ACL and we knew that she was in great hands. From the moment that we met Monique and Daniel we knew we found a great team.”

“Macy took such amazing care of our fur babies! She really went above and beyond to make sure our pups were well cared for and still had fun while we were out of town. Our dogs can be high energy but she kept them happy with walks and plenty of games of fetch. One of our dogs can be nervous around other people but he warmed up to her very quickly. We were really able to enjoy our vacation knowing our pups were in good hands! Thanks for everything, Macy!”

“Caitlin helped us out last minute and was extremely accommodating to our senior dog with anxiety. She shared pictures and her response times were great. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Trenton was an absolute lifesaver! We’ve had some disappointing experiences with sitters on this app recently ranging from not following instructions to doing quick 30-minute drop-ins when we specifically requested house sitting. Trent completely restored our faith in Rover. He followed all of our instructions to the letter, took excellent care of our dog Thor, and even kept our home clean and organized, something we haven’t experienced with past sitters. We truly appreciate his reliability and professionalism. We will most definitely continue using his services.”

About: As a military spouse, I understand how hard it is to find great care at an affordable rate and possibly the last minute. My goal is to provide love for your babies so that you may focus on whatever calls you away without any worries. I work remotely so any needs or schedules for your babies will be met promptly and to your liking. Please prepare a written list that I may follow. Things to expect when dropping off your babies: Your babies will be provided their own space within my sight at all times (until bedtime) and that space can be adjusted to fit their needs (bigger or smaller). They will be provided food, clean water, cuddles, and as much playtime as they need. If they have any special needs I will ask for written instructions and provide those needs as necessary. I can provide as much or as little communication as you prefer and make sure your babies are doing great while away.

“Symone was absolutely amazing. All the dogs warmed up to her quickly. She was very attentive to all their needs to include endless puppy snuggles. She checked in regularly sending picture updates. I would use her again and would recommend her!”

“Ashlyn did a great job watching our three peis. She was very communicative and sent updates with pictures. She was able to meet all their needs including administering medication for one of them and she left the house was neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend her and would also use her again.”

“Cheyenne was a great help when we needed a very last minute in-home pet sitter for our dog! She was communicative and very sweet with our pup. We could tell he was well cared for, as was our home!”

About: I've loved animals since I was a kid and have cared for many throughout my life! I was tasked with raising my family dog since she was a puppy when I was in high school, and I helped my college roommate with her puppy! I have walked/boarded many dogs and cats since moving to Virginia! Being in the military, my coworkers travel a lot so I have become the workplace's go-to "pet auntie." I genuinely love to spoil pets and providing them with a safe and homey environment while their loved ones are out! I have a fairly flexible work schedule so I can come back to my home or to your home to take care of your pet! Early morning, lunch, and evenings are especially free, so I can work around that depending on your needs. I do not own pets, so they will be here as a single child in the case they are boarded! Crates, food, litter boxes, etc will need to be provided as I don't own those things. I have access to many parks around my neighborhood, so walkability is not an issue!

“Ashley was a wonderful sitter! She was very responsive and sent tons of pictures of my two dachshunds. She took such good care of the girls while we were away. We’d love to have her back anytime to sit for Harley and June. 🩷”

About: I work at the VBSPCA in the kennel so I know dogs pretty well. I currently have a 7 year old dachshund named Leo who’s great with other dogs and cats. My work schedule varies month to month. I can walk dogs or take care of pets in your home if my work schedule allows, or I can board in my apartment (dog friendly dogs/cats or small animals). I also have years of experience medicating dogs, cats, and small animals, and can trim nails on dogs and cats. I work 10 hour shifts, 4 days a week at the VBSPCA. It varies each week but I do get a monthly schedule each month. I live in an apartment in Newtown on the 3rd floor. I walk my dog or take him to the dog park when he needs to go out. Achilles pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jess was wonderful - she paid such close attention to the animals that she was able to find a tick on the very stelathy cat and a cracked paw on one of the pups - and took care of all! There's nothing like being able to head out for a weekend and not have any worries about your pets. Thank you, Jess!
