I pay attention to routines, behavior changes, and making sure they feel safe, calm, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I have been a caretaker and dog sitter for a few years. I ask lots of questions upfront and pay close attention to the small stuff: think feeding times, meds, favorite routes, comfort items, quirks, fears, or behaviors, because those details are what make a dog feel secure. I'd rather over-communicate than guess. I lived with and cared for a reactive dog for 13 years, so I know firsthand what it takes to help an anxious dog feel safe, and how to prevent conflict in the first place. All my dogs have been rescues, and I have a soft spot for dogs who need extra patience to warm up. I'm not a certified trainer, but I've spent years learning dog training, body language, and enrichment, and every interaction is rooted in positive reinforcement. I will require a meet and greet with your pet in advance of the first booking so they can become familiar with me, and so I can become familiar with their routine and needs. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility to be present for your dog, whether that's extra walks, playtime, or just being around for company, and I'm happy to talk through what kind of availability works best for your pet! I work from home which allows me the flexibility to prioritize pet care in a way I wouldn’t be able to with a traditional office. This gives me the ability to keep anxious dogs company, breaks for play time, medication, cuddles or walks when they are needed, not when they can be fit in. I create a calm, secure environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether in my home or theirs, I work on building trust by moving at each pet’s pace and honoring their boundaries. Safety is always my top priority, I supervise pets closely, follow all instructions carefully, and adapt to their unique needs. I keep spaces clean, hazard-free, and ensure pets have fresh water, proper food, and quiet resting spots. For reactive or anxious pets, I use gentle, low stress handling & positive reinforcement or redirecting to help them feel calm and supported. Every care plan is tailored specifically to your pet’s needs after we discuss what works best for them.

About: I’ve had my own dog for 12 years, and have been working with dogs for years at a doggy daycare! I love to hang out, play with them, and ensure they’re happy and well taken care of!😁 I have lots of space for them to play, an awesome family who helps and a nice neighborhood to take them on walks as well! Comfortable, spacious, clean and loving environment!😁 I currently already work with dogs part-time at the dog stop (doggy daycare)! I have my own pup as well, and have plenty of time any day of the week for dogs to board! I have a spacious and clean home for them to play and hang out in, a nice big yard and a great neighborhood for walks! 😁 in a clients home as well as my own.. I’ll spend lots of time hanging with, playing with and keeping them company! About: I am extremely clean and organized and when it comes to animals I love taking care of them and keeping there things clean and neat I'm currently doing part time bookkeeping for certain clients as well as teaching guitar lessons also part time so I am very open in terms of scheduling I have a large back and front yard and I live on a culdesac that is extremely dog-friendly and would be very easy for me to take them on frequent walks
