About: Experience volunteering at a humane society, walking, bathing, and loving all pets. We have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever with bird and water training. I’m skilled in hunting commands (verbal and hand signaling) as well as e-collar training. We also have a French Bulldog meaning I have additional training with small stubborn dogs who need extra patience and snuggles. I’m a stay at home mom to a very active one year old. My son and I love to walk and fetch with our two pups and would love to help other families as well. Being a stay at home mom means I have a ton of flexibility throughout the week and weekend! I am currently not offering boarding or in home care at this time. For drop-in visits you can expect your home in the exact same or better condition upon your return.

About: I have been raised with dogs, cats and horses since a young age. I have a 7 year old border collie who has been trained for agility and a 5 year old lab who is trained to hunt. They are disciplined dogs but also very spoiled! I currently work from home with flexible hours. When I am not traveling I am available to take care of your animal throughout the day or overnight. I have a fenced yard with two dogs who will show your animal the ropes. We go on walks every morning, lunch time and evening. Ideally we will be able to get a hike or swim in the afternoon, but if not we play ball and get plenty of time off leash throughout the day. Activities can change based on your animal’s needs. I have two very active dogs and we do everything we can to stimulate them.

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of breeds and sizes from a newfoundland to a yorkie! Friends and family rely on me to take the best care of their fur babies. I also take on other responsibilities such as, keeping the plants alive and making sure the family arrives back to a squeaky clean home. I’m available for house sitting, walking breaks, and drop ins during the week and weekends with enough notice! Summer hours may vary, but open to changing plans to benefit everyone! I’d prefer staying at the clients home where the dog/pets are more comfortable! I’m comfortable taking dogs on walks in their neighborhood or transport them to a dog park or walking trails.

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors dogs in the past and my own in my family growing up as well as my friend’s service dog for the past few years and enjoy meeting each dog and allowing time for their owners to go to work or vacation! I’m working part time 3 times a week so at times I have 4-5 days off in a row and usually have a mix of weekdays and weekends available. I will respect your set up and space provided in your home when taking care of your dog and will learn anything I need to know in regards of keeping your house and dog safe while you’re gone.

I work full-time during the week, though my hours vary, and my remote job involves a lot of driving, so I can easily schedule potty breaks or dog park visits for your pet throughout the day. While your pet is in my care, I’ll make sure they get a 2-4 hour potty break each day. I’m off on weekends, giving me much more flexibility for further outdoor adventures, like longer hikes or longer trips to the dog park as they are a regular part of our weekend routine. We live on 3 acres of unfenced land, and while your pup is in our care, they will have full supervision when outside. If your dog isn't great off-leash, I have a 25-foot lead to safely secure them. Your pup will also get daily walks, at least 2-3 times a day. I have a 5-year-old lab mix who is very friendly with other dogs, so your pup will always have a buddy to keep them company!

I spent a couple of years on the pre-vet track in college where I was part of the Raptor Club, caring for injured, wild birds of prey. Now, I am a PAW IV volunteer at Heart of the Valley, the highest volunteer position attainable. I have also completed 14-weeks worth of lessons with a certified fear-free dog trainer. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds, cats, rabbits, reptiles, rodents, fish, and horses. I am comfortable and experienced caring for seniors, pets with special needs, allergies and dietary restrictions, and pets that require medication. I hope that my experience with an array of animals of varying medical and behavioral profiles leaves you feeling confident that your family members are in good hands with me! I am employed full-time as a remote worker, making me capable of caring for your pet(s) in my own or I can come to yours. I have cared for cats my entire life, and dogs for most of my life..for cats I’ll be adhering to feeding schedules, routine litter box maintenance, routine play and attention, and practicing caution when opening and closing any outside doors to keep my cats happy, healthy, and above all, safe! When I was a teen, we welcomed my first dog Shadow into the family, and I became accustomed to also caring for dogs by learning to exercise him routinely (walks, tug o’ war, fetch, training, etc daily), let him outside to go to the bathroom, and enjoy some yard time routinely, and feed him according to a schedule like I fed my cat. I also am happy to clean food and water dishes upon request for free for the health of your pets, as I find my pets enjoyed a clean dish!

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have one cat of my own (a Maine Coon/DMH mix). I have spent approximately 5 years working front desk for both veterinary day practice and veterinary urgent care. Working in urgent care trained me in many things including symptoms to look out for and gave me the knowledge to identify when an urgent medical situation has arisen. I'm very patient with shy dogs, having previously adopted one myself. I am comfortable administering oral medication, insulin injections and even ear medication for pets whoa re reasonably well-behaved with receiving them. As of the week of April 18th I'll be working a regular day job again. Eventually this will mean I work from 7 am until 5:30 or 6 pm Monday through Thursday, though it won't be full-time initially. This would leave petsitting pets alone at home for almost 12 hours. Please feel free to check in with me regarding my schedule if your pet(s) cannot be alone for so long and you'd rather not find someone to do a home visit during the day. Pet sitting usually involves me staying at your home from roughly 5-7pm until around 8-9 am. My rate includes as many bathroom breaks as your pup needs and a short walk in the morning and evening (around 10 mins). One trip back to your house during the day for an additional potty break is included. If your pet requires more potty breaks or long walks please also book those when you request pet sitting. I am available for walks or in-home visits. Walks will generally be in your neighborhood. I'm happy to pack of your well behaved pooch for a trip to a hiking trail or park as well, just please consider that transit time and book accordingly if you'd like me to do so. When staying at a client's home I make sure the pet is my priority. I want to make sure pets who are used to receiving lots of love and attention don't feel too depressed without their owners home. If that means your dog sleeps on top of me at night then more cuddles! Have a yard? Let's go out in it and play! Does your cat live for getting pets for the first hour you're awake? Want to be left alone? Need some quality laser pointer time in the evenings? Done! My goal is to give your pooch or kitty a friend to hang out with so they don't get lonely! But if they like being independent and just want someone to be alone together with them that's totally fine too!
