I work full-time during the week, though my hours vary, and my remote job involves a lot of driving, so I can easily schedule potty breaks or dog park visits for your pet throughout the day. While your pet is in my care, I’ll make sure they get a 2-4 hour potty break each day. I’m off on weekends, giving me much more flexibility for further outdoor adventures, like longer hikes or longer trips to the dog park as they are a regular part of our weekend routine. We live on 3 acres of unfenced land, and while your pup is in our care, they will have full supervision when outside. If your dog isn't great off-leash, I have a 25-foot lead to safely secure them. Your pup will also get daily walks, at least 2-3 times a day. I have a 5-year-old lab mix who is very friendly with other dogs, so your pup will always have a buddy to keep them company!
About: Growing up with dogs, cats, and horses, I have experience training multiple puppies and horses. Our puppies were Dobermans and Rhodesian Ridgebacks, so I am very comfortable with large dogs! My rehomed-to-me dog is a border collie blue heeler mix who had a lot of anxiety before I showed him how safe and precious he is. My husband and I have a year old golden Aussie puppy we got fall 2024. I have also dog sat since I was a teenager, consistently watching a young pit bull and boxer and elderly dachshund and Bernese. My daily routine with my dogs includes a long daily walk, trips to the dog park, playing with toys, picking out treats at the pet store, and snuggling. If given the chance, I will give your pup the same amount of attention! Since I live in an apartment, I unfortunately cannot have additional pets in my home.
