“Morgan took great care of our two 100+ lb mastiffs and elderly 5lb cat over the July 4th weekend. The house was left in perfect shape. The animals were happy, minimally stressed even after a night of fireworks, and had zero complaints. Morgan kept us informed all throughout the booking of the animal's welfare and activities. A++, would book again.”

Our golden retriever pup (10 months old) is in her dinosaur stage but Starfire was able to contain her ? Definitely will book again. Thank you so much for taking great care of Groot, Spam & Ozrah.”

About: With years of experience caring for dogs, I stand out as a pet sitter due to my ability to also look after my clients’ plants/garden from time-to-time. My lifelong passion for animals includes providing special care for young and senior dogs, ensuring their health and happiness. My current schedule varies, but I typically work 7-hour shifts on Sundays and Mondays. On the these dates, I can manage pet care for all dogs that have a wait period to be let out 4-8 hrs. If necessary, I have the flexibility to call off work to ensure your pets are well taken care of. From Tuesday to Saturday, I have open availability, allowing me to dedicate ample time to pet care activities, such as walks, feeding, and playtime. This arrangement helps me balance work commitments while ensuring your pets receiving the attention and care they need. In caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment. I ensure to follow detailed instructions provided by the client to meet the specific needs of their dog. For instance, if a dog is anxious during thunderstorms, I am proactive in reaching out via call or text to discuss calming strategies. Additionally, I always clarify any boundaries regarding what I can handle or access in the home and to build a stronger rapport, I will arrange pre-sitting meetings with clients to better understand their preferences and to bond with their dog(s).

“Faith is a fantastic petsitter! We were out of town for 8 days and didn't have to worry about a thing back home. It was wonderful to find a caring person who could spend this much time with our pets. Boarding can be so stressful on our big dogs, but Faith was able to do overnights and wasn't intimidated by our Dobermans in the slightest. She was a perfect fit, and we were so blessed to find her on Rover. It was our first experience with the service platform being new to Southern Maryland, but we will be repeat customers for sure.”

About: I have been told that I am very patient when it comes to pets. I let them come to me and if they don’t want to I don’t force them. I am very careful to make sure the pets are happy and can get to know and love any pet. My life can fluctuate from busy to free depending on the time of year, but I always make time for my pets. It makes me happy to see them and take care of them on a daily and weekly basis. To care for pets, I make sure that they are ok and give them food and water first. Then I give them all the attention they need and make sure they are happy. I don’t just check in and leave, I like to spend time with them so they aren’t lonely.

“Kara is amazing as usual! We’ve had her watch our pup multiple times now, and she always does a great job taking care of her. She always leaves our house in great shape, and keeps in touch everyday to tell us how the pup is doing. I highly recommend her, and will continue to have her as our go to dog sitter! 😊”

About: I have a 3 year old pit and she is the best. Super energetic, loves to cuddle, loves people and other dogs, and is extremely smart. I am raising and training her myself. She knows all her basic commands like sit, stay, come, down, and heel. We have begun her off leash training! I have a 1 year old cat and a gecko. I also have experience with larger animals such as horses. I have worked with horses for about 6 years on and off. I am a recent college graduate. I am able to do morning and afternoon visits and walks. It is very rare, but I am usually not available on weekends. I will administer medicine if need be, feed, and fill water bowls for drop-in visits, walks, or house sits. I can also trim nails and bathe for an extra charge. On walks, they will be no more than 30 minutes.

About: I’ve cared for family dogs and cats since I was 10, including fostering three puppies while in high school (our last foster became a forever family member!). Growing up with a mom who worked as a veterinary technician gave me extra knowledge about pet health and safety. I feel confident caring for pets of all ages, from playful puppies to seniors, and always follow their routines so they feel safe and loved. Pet care is my priority and fits easily into my daily routine, since I’m not balancing another job. I approach animals as companions and equals, respecting their needs, energy, and autonomy. Whether it’s walks, play, or quiet company, I’m present and adaptable to what makes each pet happiest. In a client’s home, I treat pets and their space with respect, keeping their routines consistent and stress-free. I focus on creating a calm, safe environment where pets feel secure and loved. Because I value animals as individuals, I earn their trust gently and let them set the pace for connection.

“Liz was wonderful! She went above and beyond to make sure our timid dog was comfortable and that we knew she was cared for. I definitely recommend Liz as a dog sitter.”

About: I truly treat pets like they are people. I am always gentle and kind to all animals, and I make sure their needs are met. I am currently working part time in the evening, so I can watch, walk, feed pets in the early morning, mid day, and late evening. In my home I care for my dog by walking him and making sure he has a safe environment. He lives comfortably in our home. Our cats are house cats who have the luxury of a spacious home to roam.

About: I have had a dog I my life as long as I can remember and while when I was younger I may not have given all the care I loved them as much as I could. I have had my own pup, Deacon, for over a year and have treated him as my child and he is very spoiled (but who’s dog isn’t). I have recently trained him as a pschiatric service dog and while training is always going to be a work in progress he is doing wonderfully. I would love to meet and take care of your dog whenever you need and would treat them as if they were my own! I am currently a college student taking primarily evening classes so will typically be available any day during the week from 12-4 and anytime on the weekends I have a very friendly and energetic dog who loves going on walks and to the dog park and would love to have you pup join us. At home I make sure they are fed when scheduled (for mine 2 times a day) and always have a full water bowl. I take them out for potty breaks 3-4 times a day as needed and will play or chill inside with them as they want.

“I highly recommend Mackenzie! She did an excellent job caring for our pups while we were out of town. She gave them plenty of exercise, love, and attention. I was confident the dogs were in capable hands the entire time. If you’re looking for someone reliable and trustworthy to care for your furry family member book Mackenzie.”

“Jessica was very responsible and extremely caring and hands-on with our senior cat (and hamster too). She did several check-ins a day and spent many overnights which requires a high level of trust and Jessica went above and beyond. She communicated constantly with updates, pictures and videos (seriously, top-notch communication) and she left our home in perfect condition. Our animals took right to her and I am grateful to have found someone so kind and committed.”

About: I've been a dog owner for over 20 years and was a foster parent for a San Diego based rescue group for over 3. I currently volunteer as a dog walker at a local Southern Maryland rescue and also foster with them as well. Our family has cared for, trained and assisted with the adoption of many different breeds from small to large and all ages, puppies less than 12 weeks included. In addition we puppy raise and train service dogs for a non-profit organization based out of NY. Pets bring so much love and joy to our lives and deserve the best care when we are away. I can promise they will receive the same love and attention as if you were home yourself. Current pet is a 13 year old yellow lab and pointer mix that we've had since he was 12 weeks old. He loves long walks, swimming in any body of water and snuggling with his cat brother, Tucker. In addition we have a 2 year old beagle that nothing but fun. References are available upon request. I work remotely and am home during the day. This allows me flexibility to care my own fur-children and yours from either my home or yours. I have a large fenced yard, friendly pups, a dog room and plenty of crates. We often crate and rotate to make sure our pups get enough one on one and would do the same for yours.

“Grayson was wonderful and loving with our older cat. She spent lots of time with him while we were away and was reliable, responsible and great with prompt communication and lots of pictures too. We felt safe and comfortable having her in our home and I’d recommend her for your pet needs any time.”

About: I have had animals all my life and currently have 2 cats that are mine. My two dogs also live at home so I have been around animals all my life. I’m currently working part time due to school this upcoming semester. Most of my classes are online so I spend a lot of time at home. I make frequent stops at home during the work day as I’m only 10 minutes from home to let my dogs out of my parents aren’t home. I have an electric fence however dogs would be put on leash. My cats have all their necessities in my room so the pet I would be pet sitting for would stay in the guest bedroom in the basement with me to avoid troubles.

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my energy as a young college student who truly enjoys spending time with them. I have a soft spot for both playful puppies and sweet senior pets, and I’m patient, attentive, and gentle with every animal I care for. Whether it’s helping a puppy learn good habits or making sure an older dog is comfortable on slow walks, I treat every pet like they’re my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine! I work in the evenings from 4–7 PM, so I have plenty of free time during the mornings and early afternoons to give pets the attention, exercise, and playtime they need. Whether it’s a walk, cuddle session, or feeding time, I’m flexible and happy to adjust to your pet’s schedule. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routines as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walk times, play, and any special instructions. I keep the environment clean, safe, and calm, and I always give pets plenty of love and attention so they feel comfortable while their owners are away. If caring for pets in my own home, I provide a cozy, pet-friendly space with room to play, rest, and feel at ease. I treat every pet like family and make sure their physical and emotional needs are met every day.

“Lily is an extremely responsible pet owner herself. She has grown up with responsibilities in regards to caring for her own pets. I was a Veterinary Technician for many years so she also knows a lot about caring for sick animals or animals on medication. She is a loving and compassionate person who is very sensitive to the happiness of all animals. I highly recommend her, as her mother, but also as having had her pet sit for me, with a difficult household of animals who don't get a long and older pets on medications. She loves working with and caring for animals and would be a great long term care giver if needed for long periods, or for someone who needs a sitter everyday. Thank you for considering her!”
