About: Always joking that dogs are superior but in truthfulness love all animals. Experienced with dogs but open to providing care for other pets. Will strictly adhere to owner requests, so long as they are humane. (Furniture ok vs not allowed, food/walking schedule, treats, etc.). There will be no shortage of affection and attention, assuming the pet is receptive. Open to assisting with reactive or challenging pets. Attempting to build a trusting bond is an inherent desire. Work from home so (brief) walks, potty breaks, playtime, etc can be provided through entirety of day. Longer walks before 8am or after 5pm. Available 24/7 on weekends and holidays. Live alone so no concerns about other pets or children. Have decent sized yard but do require a leash since there is no fence. Safe, quiet, and friendly neighborhood.

About: Hello! I am home for the summer and looking to spend my time with adorable pets and show them some love! I have been taking care of my two dogs since the 5th grade and I just graduated college. I love going for walks and playing fetch. I’m also content chilling on the couch and watching doggies nap. Most days I don’t have any obligations throughout the whole day and can work my daily tasks and errands around walking or checking on dogs. I always make sure my pets have water available all the time, especially in the summer. My dogs usually go on a leash when they are outside, and I feel most comfortable walking dogs with a leash. My dogs eat at the same time every day and get lots of attention when inside.

About: No discrimination here! I love all sizes, breeds, and ages. With over 20 years of experience, I have grown up with dogs pretty much my entire life. Your dog will be treated as if they were my own. We like to start and end every day with potty breaks along with atleast two walks per day. We allow your children to sit and sleep wherever they like. I am currently working full-time (about 15 minutes away from home), but my boyfriend (also a Rover sitter) works from home and can do daily potty breaks if needed.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid. I love taking care of them. I can care for all types and sizes. I would treat your animal like they are my own. I do plan on going in to a vet tech program very soon. So I would be able to give care if needed. I currently do not work. So I have plenty of type to take care of your animals. I tend to wake up pretty early, so I would be able to let your animals out early in the morning. I can care for your pet in the way that feels the most comfortable to you. I have a fenced-in yard and share my home with two big fur babies and one little Yorkie. The dogs have free roam of the house, except for any rooms that are kept closed off. We have crates set up and use them as needed for safety or downtime—they’re always available if the situation calls for it. The dogs are monitored with cameras and are rarely left alone for more than five hours at a time between my partner and me. I work from home frequently, so they’re supervised most of the day and kept on a consistent routine. At night, they sleep downstairs where there’s plenty of space for them to spread out or separate if needed.

About: I've been house sitting for friends and family since I was 12. It allowed me to supplement my income and work with the animals that I have loved since a young age. I was a vet tech in high school and during the first few summers in college, gaining small animal medicine and husbandry experience. In addition, I worked at a two different doggy day cares throughout my graduate and undergrad degrees, gaining a lot more experience with dogs and a little bit of dog training. Both of these degrees are also in animal science. I love pets of all kinds and have looked after everything from horses to dogs and cats, to birds. I am new to the area as a recent Penn State hire and don’t have established contacts for dog sitting like I did in the areas that I lived for my degrees. I work full-time but have a fair amount of flexibility to work remotely up to 3 or 4 days a week. If you have a stable wifi connection I will be more available to spend time with your pups although there may still be some days I need to be gone for work for up to 8 hours. I am willing to stay with your pets overnight if that is your preference. I will not be boarding dogs as my landlord does not allow pets. I am respectful of your home and space and treat your pets as I would my own!

About: While growing up, my parents fostered many greyhounds. I assisted with training, walks, and over all care! I love pups of all shapes and ages! I have an Australian Shepard named Levee. I spend most of my time gardening or working in our orchard, doing yoga, meditating, writing, cooking and reading. I feed my dog fresh premium food and wash the bowls after every meal. I generally avoid people giving out treats to my dog, children and dog parks to keep things safe and consistent. I care for the barn cat and birds. First and foremost I read through all instructions you provide for your pup and make a notecard listing out all details. I reference my notes often to ensure I'm aligned. If staying in my home, your pup will appreciate the same treatment I give my own pup, loads of love, walks and attention. Right now I'm only accepting dogs for overnight that I've developed a strong relationship with. But I have an extra kennel and they can sleep on the bed if you allow it.

I can do drop offs Monday mornings on my way to work. I can do pick up Fridays when I’m off. I work from home and I live on 10 acres of lovely mountain property. I do not have a fenced yard. I do have 2 outdoor 12X10 kennels set up. I would never let a dog go out potty without me on a leash. I spend about 30 minutes outside with my own dogs every 1.5 hours. I am outside most of the day unless it’s extremely hot or cold. I am with the animals 24/7. If your dogs likes to be outside I can put them in the kennels for extra outside time. If they like to be inside I can leave them inside while I take other dogs pee. I have a Furbo camera installed so I can view them at all times. Must be good with cats.
