About: I intern at an animal sanctuary where I provide full animal care to cats, dogs, foxes, birds, wolves, horses, a beaver, a bear, an elk, and much more. I have been there for over a year as well as taken care of many other animals for families over night and daily check ins. I am studying environmental science where I hope to work with animals so I have been gaining a lot of experience and knowledge with all kinds. I do work full time as a veterinary assistant currently, but am pretty flexible with scheduling for in home pet sitting. I am available for drop in visits and walking on Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings and evenings, anytime on Wednesday and Thursday, and late afternoon/evening on weekends. About: I was born and raised in the country, my papaw gave me my first dog when I was 5 years old who I named Charlie and told me that I was responsible for taking care of him. That's when I learned the friendship, love, and compassion that pets can behold. He was the 1st of many pets that I had, he lived till I was 17 and will always have a special place in my heart. Throughout my childhood to my teens, I took care of many animals usually dogs but there were cats, ducks, chicken, rabbits, fish, lizards, hamsters, and even befriended a bear cub once thinking it was a dog until my papaw realized and ran it off to prevent momma bear from coming our way. I guess you could say I have always been drawn to animals and I'm so excited for the opportunity to care for your pet, giving you peace of mind that they are receiving quality care.
