We had just gotten a puppy who is just 15 weeks old, and we needed to find someone to watch Sammy while we went to the tournament Thursday thru Sunday. She was amazing taking care of Sammie, and was so flexible and understanding -because we had all kinds of crazy hours during the week, that ranged from before sunrise to after sunset! About: My mother (Karen) and I (Laura) work together to make sure your pets have the best stay possible! I am a former veterinarian assistant, and I have worked in many vet offices through the years. I have been involved with animals for over 25 years and Karen for over 30! It is usually me, Laura, taking care of your babies but Karen is always available if needed. One of us will be home with your pets all day every day, and there are no other pets in the home. We prefer that when a pet comes to stay, they have all our attention and don't have to worry about other animals. This is my first time living without a dog at home but for now, I am thoroughly enjoying taking care of visitors. If you have specific do's or don't, just let us know and your pets visit can be as strict or as spoiled as you would like. They will feel at home and will have free reign of the house, including furniture or beds, depending on your wishes. We live in a 3 bed, 2 bath, 2200 sqft home and the yard is as big as a football field, it is literally 300ft x 100ft. The house is one of only 2 homes on a small road tucked back in a beautiful small neighborhood, with very few neighbors. It is perfect for walks, cars are rare, and nature is everywhere. Even though the area is calm and peaceful, we are only one minute from Atlantic Blvd, Beach Blvd, University Blvd, and only 3 minutes from downtown. This location also places us close to multiple veterinarian offices, as well as after-hour emergency locations. We will keep you updated on how your dog is doing throughout the their stay, including daily pictures. We can provide extra services such as brushing, bathing, nail trimming, or any special request/needs that you may have. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! *Please Note: If your requested service dates include a holiday, holiday rates will apply. If Rovers quote/cost does not reflect holiday rates, it will be updated during the booking process. Rates more than 15 days in the future may be higher than current rates, especially during holidays. We do not have any children or pets in the home and we are here with your fur babies 24/7! We do not have jobs other than Rover, so we won't be on a computer all day ignoring your pets, they will have ALL our attention for walks, food, play, meds, baths, whatever they need. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions, we always try and accommodate your needs or requests. We have a large house with a big play room (cooled with A/C, perfect for hot days) and a porch (outside & screened, covered & enclosed, great for rainy days). They are both 14ft x 40ft! Tons of room to run and play no matter what the weather is outside. There are no children or other animals to worry about and we only watch one family at a time, so your dog(s) will have the place to themselves. We are happy to make specialty meals, administer medications at specific times, and provide potty/exercise breaks consistantly throughout the day. We have always been super protective over our own pets, and yours will be no different!

“Managing a family with kids and a pet can at times be trying. With our newest addition to our family, our first few weeks were a struggle. I express how I felt to Soumail and she gave very good recommendations. We arranged overnight sitting, she helped to trained the pup for overnight sleep routines when she returned home she did great sleeping through the night and only using the bathroom outside. Soumail was wonderful with our Bluey and we look forward to more sittings with her. I would recommend to everyone!!”

About: Hi I'm Veronica , I'm 23 ! I'm a Petcare Specialist and a proud Volunteer at the Humane Society . I enjoy working with animals and helping make sure they're happy and healthy. I've worked at the humane society for about a year now and I've been a petcare specialist for about 2 1/2 years. One of my main duties is walking the dogs , being sure they get the daily exercise and stretch they need all while having fun , running around, and having the opportunity to explore the many curiosities the outdoors has to offer . A few other duties I have as a Volunteer is cleaning up , making sure the Dogs have their food and water , are comfortable , and have everything they need . Alot of people know me to be a very quiet calming personality so it's a plus when meeting newer dogs or when i encounter a dog that's more on the timid side. Over the past year I've worked with small to medium dogs but I always enjoy working with dogs of all sizes . Small, medium, and large dogs are always welcomed! As a Petare Specialist I've taken care of a wide variety of Animals including Aquatic Animals , Reptiles, Birds , and Small Animals. My duties are to tend to food and water , make sure terrariums cages and aquariums are in perfect condition , and to make sure everything is set up properly to ensure all of the animals are happy and comfortable . I'm also responsible for administering the proper medications and Nursing sick animals back to health . As a petcare specialist i work part time . I work early mornings so I'm available most afternoons and evenings on weekdays . During the Weekends I'm available in the evening on saturdays and late afternoons on Sundays I have two cats at home . Litter changes are once or twice a week (we have a self cleaning box ) Food and water changes happen twice daily . Most importantly spending time with them , keeping them active, and giving them love and attention .

About: I have always cared for animals of all kinds. I’ve grown up with rabbits, cats,dogs,hamsters etc. Everyone comes to me for pet help and when looking to rehome animals. Maybe that’s why we have 3 cats, a bunny, a leopard gecko , 3 chickens, 2 ducks & two puppies. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m available to care for animals full time, I’m not away from animals for more than a two hour time ! Our home is fully fenced in, the dogs will never be outside or alone with my children unattended. We only take animals from one family at a time.
